The moment that you are in should be all that matters then. Should we always conduct ourselves with the history/geography of our pasts? Isn't that like making ourselves into unevolved beings where we just live with conditioned responses? Then there is no decision making on a day to day level and no use of our intellect, we just go by what feelings are triggered by events/people ... sort of like "it is so, because it has always been so". Sometimes it is better to start on a particular route with a clean slate.

History makes us who we are today, and we can never forget our past! It's a different story when we don't even remember our past to live by, and that is the case with Geet. I was trying to say that Geet is in search of her past but what's the purpose of searching something that you can no longer relate to, for example if she finds out that she was in love with Maan and was married to him, how do you think she will react? Will she again feel the same for Maan the way she used to in the past...

Avi, The Notebook, indeed is a movie to remember; a true masterpiece! But I was referring to a movie called The Vows, it's story based on a real life couple who came in terms with memory loss and how they found love yet again!
