Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami get locked for Kathputli!

So finally we have an authentic confirmation about Saurabh Tewary's Nautanki Films'new show to be aired on Colors.

Ever since the news had hit the town, there were a lot of speculations made around the show's storyline and its lead actors. First we were updated that the show is based on cross border romance and will have Drashti Dhamiaka Geet and Vivian Dsena aka Abhay as the lead pair. Later, we got the news that the show is loosely based on the unrequited romance of Bollywood icons Dilip Kumar andMadhubala.

Ha! It was certainly a chaotic development. Anyway, now we have come to know of the final call being taken by the makers. An insider revealed that it is no more a cross-border romance as the script is being re-written. In fact, the story will now see the leads depicting actors on the screen which makes us feel that it is indeed going to be the Dilip-Madhubala love tale.

Further, presence of Drashti and Vivian has been locked and earlier titled as Shikhar; the show has been re-christened toKathputli. Other than these two, Rakhi Vijan, Bhupinder Singh and Raj Zutshi will play prominent roles. Sushmita Mukherjee, last seen in Zee TV's Chhoti Si Zindagi, has been signed in for a cameo whereas Lalit Parimoo andShagufta Ali would be seen in vital roles.

The work has started on full swing and most probably this new offering will air post IPL. We just hope that Saurabh Tewary doesn't make any further change in his plans!

hello my precious pumpkins!!

after pestering my friend who is an entertainment journalist and event manager in mumbai to find about dd's upcoming show for a day now has news for us,,, finally!!😃
dd's show will go on air on 3rd week of may n will probably take 8.30 slot in colors!! currently veer shivaji is at that time slot!!
veer shivaji is not going off air,,the show will have different time slot!!
the show will be shot in mumbai in some of famous studios in the city!! they might show few bollywood stars as well!!

he got this information from his friend who works in the channel!! plz dont ask me his name and details where he is working!! i cant risk his name on the net!!

for those who sent pm's last time asking me if he meets gc n dd,, the answer is NO.. he is into bollywood news!!

note-the news i gave you is what is planned by the channel for now,, there is a chance for few changes!!
i have asked him to inform his friend that we fans wanna see dd in jhalak dikhla jaa too!!

Thanks for the great news hope channel stays with his decision relating time slot i always want DD new show on this time as i feel very much bore at 8.30 pm because i dont like any show of that time slot(as a matter of fact after geet i dont like to watch any indian telly shows accept NBTNMKK) so it would be great that DD new show will on 8.30 pm.
