"Are you going to speak to your father" Amie asked Jeffrey as they walked in the woods. Jeffrey raised his eyebrows and teased "why, you don't like meeting me in the woods?" he asked. Amie could feel her cheeks flaming in fire and stammered "I do feel scared though" she admitted. "Really?" Jeffrey continued to tease her "when the Great Jeffrey is around" he joked and he received a smack on the arm from Amie who ran away giggling "bye"

"Daddy?" Jeffrey called when he reached home. "He's having a meeting with the Thorne" said the nurse. Jeffrey scowled and thought "why does she have to be so rude". He was very proud of his father who was the chief of this little village and was best known for his justice. "I am surely going to talk to him tonight, for Amie" he thought as he crawled to his room and pushed the door ajar.

Mr. Thomas arrived after long hours and peeped into his son's room "you wanted me, Jeffrey?" he asked. "Yes, Daddy" Jeffrey replied. "I need to…" he mumbled softly. "Yes" Mr. Thomas raised an eyebrow; he could sense the seriousness in his voice. "It's about Mr. Edison's daughter" he said looking at his father.

Mr. Thomas left the room in anger; he tried to hide his anger. "No way, my Jeffrey is going to court that Amie Edison" he thought furiously, his eyes puffed red. "I am going to get rid of her thus Jeffrey can marry Mr. Warne's daughter Betty" he thought. "Yes, Mr. Warne has got a good business and Jeffrey might inherit his money" he wondered grimly. "As for the Edisons, I am going to see what I can do to them"

"No, it's not true!" Amie Edison cried at the top of her lungs. "We did not commit that theft" she screamed and wept. She could feel her mother's hand over her shoulders, she was trembling; "poor mother" she thought. "You can punish us without any proof" screamed Amie. Yes, she thought, you cannot do that, Jason Thomas!

"Oh no" Mr. Thomas said seriously. "We found this" said his assistant waving an old sack. "What does it contain?" asked Wendy Edison, the mother of Amie. "Oh, Mrs. Edison, don't pretend, we know that you and Dave Edison had planned all these along with your two daughters, witches" he mouthed. "No!" Amie cried "this isn't true!" "You must wait till my husband gets back from the city" Wendy Edison pleaded. "Well…well…well" Mr. Thomas' assistant's eyes sparkled. Likewise, Mr. Thomas was best known for his strict discipline and decisions.

Jeffrey is coming to save us…

They were locked in a cellular in the old house at the end of the garden of the Thomas. Amie was praying for Jeffrey to come, he could only manage to convince his father…

Her mother was worn out and felt asleep on her lap, she caressed her as a little baby, her sister was in the city, Errica was there with Father, she was safe, but...where her mom and herself? She silently prayed for her father and Jeffrey to come.

She started to doze off when she heard someone crawling around. "Jeffrey?" she said startled and she opened her eyes. She saw him standing with a grim face. "I knew you'd come, please, this is all a trap, I've got to get out of here, my mother is already worried sick and –'' but Jeffrey cut her out "I came to say adieu"

"What?" she choked as she tried to speak. "I can't believe I trusted someone like you" he said angrily. "I…" Amie tried to defend herself when Jeffrey snapped "save it for someone else, I don't believe Father can do something wrong...Not in judging people" was his last word and he left…

Her family was going to be humiliated in front of the whole village…

3 Years Later

Errica Frayne sat down looking at the sun setting and sighed "where is he?" Just then the door cracked opened and Errica's pretty face broke into a smile "Edwin" she whispered. Edwin raised an eyebrow and said "yes, Erri" Edwin said his face breaking into a cute smile.

Errica looked at the tickling clock and said "do you know where Amelia is?" she asked. Edwin shook his head and said "nope". Errica sighed again and looked at the old clock and muttered "she doesn't care for the time…anyway, shall I serve the food?" she asked. "Nopes, I can wait for Amie today" and winked. Errica broke into a grin and disappeared inside.

"Come on, Will, it's late, Errica and Edwin must be waiting for us" Amie said grabbing William O'Conners' hand and dragging him. "Okay, okay, no need of dragging me, I can walk" William complained. "Eh?" Amie pretended not to have heard.

Jeffrey and his new girlfriend were walking in Tam Square, plenty of shops, plenty of shopping's. Zoe grinned and snuggled up to Jeffrey's arm and giggled. "You are so pretty" Jeffrey said giggling. "I am" Zoe said eyeing Jeffrey carefully. Then they heard laughter behind them. "Aren't they a pretty couple" Zoe said nudging Jeffrey.

Jeffrey gazed away from Zoe's eyes and found two persons, one girl dragging a boy on the road. And the boy was giggling. The girl had pretty blue eyes with blonde hair. She was beautiful. Jeffrey recognized the girl "Amie" he whispered.

Amie felt two pairs of eyes strained on her and William. She glanced up and saw someone that she knew; someone who ruined her family's reputation. "Jeffrey Thomas" she whispered.
