I always feel such overwhelming agony for unrequited love, more for people who are in relationships, where they know their partner though loyal, is in love with someone else..

the knowledge that there always will be some distance they'll never be able to cover, for there is no road, no ground that reaches through... that though its not remorse or regret they feel, or simply kindness or compassion which binds them , sheer will it is , which makes the love of the second choice sufficient.

I'd rather people be alone than... Dev's letter broke my heart. To feel grateful for being loved- wouldn't that be the inevitable emotion ?

so took this long to comment. the part where he saw her picture in his wallet.. heart-breaking.

I cant help empathizing with the one who gets caught in the middle, and getting angry with the other two.. (consistent reaction to such a situation in all FF's ;) ).

Do continue soon.

Yes...

There is nothing like reading a story about unrequited love. But in real life...Hell! no.

Somehow unrequited love, really teaches you to love...wholly. It grounds you and bears you down (I think!)

But lets see what these folks are made of.

Thanks for writing back folks.

Yes, reading a story like this or watching it.. is a very different and a very deep experience.. its addictive in a strange haunting kind of way.. and it also shows love as we actually romanticize about.. the kind that inspires poetry ;)... very very eager to read more.

Its funny really. I always thought romanticized love is practically non-existent. But Hello! - going for the cliche here - some true stories are really stranger than fiction that we run behind.

This lady who was in school with me, told me about her friend, who married her high school sweet heart. Of course, a few years later, they get divorced and then guess what? She meets her ex-husband 11 years later, while she is in a relationship with another man (not a serious one apparently as I'm told). Then the triangle goes down the romantic high with all the angst, guilt and everything in between. In the end and in someways reinforcing the "Made for each other" idea of fictionalized love, she marries her ex-husband again.

And I would only think the tale is fit for a novella...But, it is some woman's life story.

Yeah, I'm planning to write an update for each of the on-going FFs. But that's just the plan right? 😆

So what went so horribly wrong that this almost cosmic connection was irrevocably broken?

He was a commitment phobe?
She was a commitment phobe? (but then got together with Dev- so that doesnt hold)(which reminds me, I am confused are Dev and Geet married?)
A crazy misunderstanding?

Aakhir aisa kya hua tha?

Cosmic connection? Well! good...if that is the picture I'm painting. 😆

None are commitment phobic...I gave some indication of this in Dev's letter and some in last's update. (Point to be noted is Maan's walking away right after Geet comes to sit next to him) You don't have to piece anything together. But the back story will unfurl itself as the updates will be written from each ones perspective (Hopefully I will do justice to it)

Thank you for writing back.
