Maaneet OS- Pyaar Ki Nishani!
Dadi was in contemplation during her prayers with Babaji! She had got everything that she had asked for! Maan had got married and was expecting their first child. All what Dadima now wanted to do was ask for a Mannat! She wanted to pray at the Golden Temple in Amritsar! All she wanted was a Healthy Khurana Heir! Whether it is a girl or a boy; the child and Geet must be safe! And she was speaking to Babaji about it. Just then Geet was about to enter when she hears Dadima speaking;
Dadima: "Babaji; bas ab aapke yahan aake mattha tek loon aur apne bahu aur pot eke bacche ke liye aapse prarthana kar loon; bas yahin meri khwahish hai. Pehle to Maan bete mere saath aate the; lekin is waqt Maan ko Geet ke paas hona chahiye. Koi rasta to dikha do. Kyunki ab is umar main Geet to mujhe akeli safar karne degi nahi aur main unhe sach nahi bata sakti. Dil toot jaayega bichari ka. Annie bhi wapas gayi aur Dev ko Maan ne ghar bahar nikal diya. Main kya karoon Babaji?"
And saying this; she prayed and went to sleep as it was night. Dadima had early dinner on Geet's insistence and slept early. Geet thought it was better as Dadima should now not work and only rest. And she knew what Dadima said was true. She wasn't going to let her travel alone and though she wanted to make Maan go; he wouldn't listen to her. So she had to do something. She had to talk to Maan regarding this. She went to the bed and made herself comfortable; while reading a book she fell asleep. And just then the door cracks and Maan enters their bedroom to find a sleepy Geet. She looked so innocent while sleeping even at this stage when she herself was going to welcome their child in the world. He slowly walked towards their bed; pecked on her head; pulled up the comforter; and placed his warm hands on her swollen belly;
Maan: "Hello baby; kaisa tha aapka din? Maa ne aapka khyal rakha na?"
He just pretended the answer to be a no and was about to get up for a change when she held his hand.
Geet: "Aap aa gaye Maan. Mujhe to kab neend lag gayi pata hi nahi chala. Wo maine Nakul se keh ke khana kamre main khaana lagwa diya hai. Aap kha lijiye. Maine kha liya."
Maan just smiled and went for a wash and came back. Changed into his signature track pants and his undershirt. He got a plate full of food and came and joined his wife on the bed. She was lying. Geet continued that she had to talk to him.
Maan: "Geet kal baat kar lenge na. Aaj main bahut thak kar aaya hoon."
Geet: "Maan please meri baat sirf sun to lijiye na." Geet pleaded with her puppy faces and her emotional scene.
Maan: "Theek hai. Kya baat hai. Kahin tumhe kuch khaana hai ya tumhe dard ho raha hai? Hum abhi hospital chalte hai."
Geet: "Ab main kuch boloon?"
Maan: "Kya?"
Geet: "Kya matlab kya? Aap har choti baat par ghabra kyun jaate hai?"
Maan: "Matlab kya hai tumhara?"
Geet: "Main aaj Dadima se milne unke kamre main gayi thi aur bas andar jaanewaali thi aur pata chala ki unki Puja chaloo thi. To maine intezaar kiya. Maan wo bas ek hi mannat kelar baithi hai ki unhe Amritsar jaana hai. Hum sab ke liye dua maangne. Wo bas chahti hai ki wo mattha tek kar aaye. Aur main to unhe akeli jaane nahi doongi. Aur aapse wo aane ko kahegi nahi; kyunki mera nauva mahina chaalo hai. To bas aap unhe parson lekar jayiyaga."
Maan: "Lekin Geet; is halat main tumhe akele chod ke kaise jaoonga? Tumhe kisi bhi waqt jaana padega hospital main aur tum chahti ho ki main Dadima ko lekar jaoo? Tumhari tabyet to theek hai na?"
Geet: "Maan main bilkul theek hoon. Aur aapko nahi lagta ki aapko Dadima ko bhi waqt dena chahiye? Aap unke pote hai; aur aapka farz banta hai; ki aap unki har ek zimmedaari uthaye. Aapka farz banta hai ki aap unki har ek zaroorat ko poora kare; to bas unhe aap Amritsar lekar jayiye."
"Ek aur baat; jab aap bhagwaan ke darbaar main ho na; to bas hume apne aap ko saunp dena chahiye. Meri fikar mat kijiye. Ek hi din ki to baat hai. Aur agar mujhe kuch chahiye hoga to main Adi ko phone kar loongi."
"Aap bas jaane ki taiiyari kijiye. Aur haan main aapse bahut pyaar karti hoon theek usi tarah jis tarah Dadima aapse pyaar karti hai. Unka haq banta hai; bas is waqt wo aapse kuch nahi maangegi lekin aapko unka khyaal rakhna hai. Aur haan; meri khushi isi main hai ki aap jaoge."
Maan: "Agar tum yahin chahti ho to main chala jaoonga. Lekin tum Dadima ko jaanti ho na; wo nahi leke jayegi mujhe."
Geet: "Unki itni himmat ki unkei beti unhe aadesh de aur wo use na paale?"
Man just smiled and held her closer. She fed him food and he went to clean the plates in the kitchen. She was waiting for Dadima here as it was a daily routine for Dadima to get milk for Geet every night. Dadima was just outside their room when she heard their conversation. She couldn't believe what Geet had said. She prayed to Babaji and sent the milk through Nakul's hand to their room. Dadima had to talk to Geet and decided that she will come tomorrow morning.
Geet was worried to not see Dadima bringing milk for her.
