Ok onto my analysis ..
Second comes Vikas/Vikram. Boy oh boy .. VS really knows how to carry off different moods within a short span of time .. takes quite some skill to be giving one continuous set of dialogues but with quick shifts in emotions/voice modulations, etc ..
The we he was serious and his voice was creepy in the beginning staircase scene ..
Then the way he sat outisde the storeroom .. creepy I tell you .. and then how he would suddenly shout at Geet (scared me couple of times there!) and then go back to his sweetly childish voice as if he was the most innocent man ever...
When he was talking on the phone with Geet in the beginning ..the way Geet screams in fear when she hits the wall .. was so perfectly done .. and then did you see the way Vikram got angry because she wasn't talking anymore.. scares me to think that if in the future she confronts him and he becomes angry .. what he will do to her 😳
Then with the Maan/Viks phone convo .. how perfectly directed...loved the split screen shots.. and the action/reaction by GC when Viks would say his dialogue and Maan would flare in anger .. the way he does that "phurrr" dialogue.. craziness mixed in with the threatening voice.. he certainly seems pretty confident that MSK won't be able to do anything to him ... I look forward to seeing how and why Viks thinks Maan won't be able to catch him or do anything even though he'll be in front of him .. does this hint at a potential business-rivalry track? Hope so!
Onto GurTi..
DD .. take a bow .. this girl outdoes herself in each episode.. just when you think she couldn't get any better..
Two instances made me cringe in fear for her.. first was her shriek when she hits the wall .. second was when she yells at Viks with the lamp in her hand .. and then I felt so scared and helpless for her in the storeroom .. DD played the fear act with conviction .. hats off to her! Girl was sweating in fear .. and the way Vikram knocks madly on the door .. I would be so damn scared if I was alone at home and a stalker/thief knew where I was hiding and I couldn't get out .. :( poor Geet..
When he narrates his story .. the way Geet's expressions changed .. as if to say "This man knows me from HP?" she was so mindboggled that he knew so much about her and frightened that she didn't even know who he was.. that's a scary thought in itself.. O_O
That entire storeroom scene was done brilliantly.. the lighting and effects of the lighting really brought the scene to life...
Then Maan comes on time .. and Vikram flees like a coward .. his voice when he screamed for Geet was laced with worry/fear mixed into one .. it was bone-chilling.. and so was Geet's scream .. and then the hug ..
Gosh the hug was sooo poweful .. in terms of acting..body language.. emotions it portrayed..this time Geet hugged him as she was just completely in shock and fear..couldn't even talk properly.. she just wanted to feel Maan's arms because that's the only place she feels safe (did ya'll notice GC almost toppling over backwards..DD hugged with such force! haye) .. and I love that though useless Devini were standing right there..Geet kept pushing herself towards Maan .. grabbing his collar.. his vest.. wrapping her arms around his shoulder continuously.. as if to say .. "I'm only safe in Maan's arms" .. she almost needed to feel that he was there.. the reassurance that she's finally safe .. loved it..
Now that Vikram has dared to challenge Mr. Khurana .. I would love to see some Clash of the Titans.. business rivalry .. Maan wanting to handle the situation in one way .. while Geet does it in her own way . a little tiff between Maaneet to keep things fresh between them .. then they each together as a force try to bring this man down .. because he's dared to enter the Lion's Den.
Loved the last scene.. what powerful dialogues by Barry !! The way Maan covers her mouth .. hayeee just like old times! .. and says no one .. not even a "thing" like Vikram .. can disrupt their peace..their life..their relationship.. Maan is only Geet's and Geet is only Maan's .. no force can change that or stop it from happening ..
"Dekhne waalon ki rooh kaap uthegi" hayeee *THUD*
All in all an amazing episode with all the emotions and some mindblowing performances by GurTi/Vikas!
Hats off to SS and BD for the direction and dialogues.. :)
