I just would like to show you my opinion about the comparisons being made about Geet and Is pyaar ko kya naam doon.
First of all, it is not entirely the same. Geet has its own unique elemens, such as Is pyaar ko kya naam doon. Yes, the interaction of the protagonists might be the same and the concept might be the same, still there are lots of series, movies made based on this concept. What makes it different is how the actor contributes to the story. how they tell this story, gurmeet chaudery's character is played differently than barun sobti's character.
It is about what you prefer. Frankly speaking, I am glad that they have come with the same concept, but different approach. The concept rocks and is interesting.
In short, yes the concept is the same, but has a different approach. The protagonists of each serie are played differently, which makes it interesting. I love the fact that they have done this and lets be positive guys. It is okay, lets embrace the old idea, in a new package!😉
