Jyo, the CVs are the ones not consistent not us viewers. The Maan and Geet they showed us last week particularly the ones on the Wednesday episode were close to their earlier characterisations (which is why I think Mahesh may have been on a holdiay last week). Surely you cannot dispute the Maaneet we are seeing this week are markedly different.
I guess today if one mahii comes we will forget all the cribbing that we did last night 😆
It is not a question of mahi alone. In fact inappropriate mahis can only marr the scene not enhance it.
My point is yes these r not the same Maan and Geet we met last year ..the characters hv taken 180 degreee turns with new CVs coming in and I dont expect them to go back to that old Maan and Geet again ...
We did have glimpses of the old Maaneet in the pauper track which was cut short thanks to Mahesh arriving back from his wedding vacation.
All I want is that Maaneet charm to come back ..the whole passion element for which GHSP was known for to come back ...and for that I m ready to take any alternatives whether its RC or any XYZ track ...
Passion per se would make no sense if not grounded in strong characterisations and screen play. It may give a momentary high but cannot sustain. We saw that only too often in the Amritsar track. There was a momentary high in a couple of intimate Maaneet scenes but they could not hold on because the screen play and the characterisations were weak.
Yes we cannot guarantee that the glory of old Maaneet will come back with any XYZ track ,but there is no harm in trying it...maximum it will also fail in a month or so and then they can close shop ..but at least noone will repent later saying I wish they had tried out 😆
By then Maaneet would have already been done to death both physically and metaphorically. My request is address the root cause and not the symptom.
