Jyo, that was in bad taste particularly coming from a mod. Just because someone's views differ from yours does not mean you have to cast aspersions on their motive and take them to represent the Geet team. I can turn around and say that all those in favour of RC are Mahesh's chamchas or the channel's mouthpiece. A winking icon does not excuse making such lose comments.

So what if there is no Devini torture in the RC track. Do you think the way Geet was portrayed yesterday was any less a torture? What guarantee is there that in the RC track we do not get this version of Geet and not the original version? Should we risk seeing this regressive shrew for the next six months or however long they keep the so called revamped show?

I dont support RC either ...but today I m asking this Geet CV team that if they feel RC is not innocative ,then what all other options they hv for show's continuity post channel's revamp ??

Apparently this writer does not want to resurrect characters mentioned earlier and conveniently forgotten such as Vicky and Sam. These two characters alone could have ensured the continuance of the show for another three months at the minimum. If they had brought back the Hoshiarpur siblings of Geet and woven stories around them with Maaneet taking the central role, they could have another 1-2 months worth of story. If they had bothered about educating Geet and weaving a romance around it, they could have taken it to another 2 months. So in all the story could have been furthered with the existing stuff but no Mahesh will never even dream of such plots. It is more than clear that the PH is not willing to continue the show post revamp. Why else would they continue with this inept writer even after his pathetic performance so far? By thrusting the RC on a reluctant PH do you think we will get good stuff? Do we have to suffer the same if not worse torture all in the name of our love for Maaneet?

They were quick to clarify that RC news is nonsense on their official FB wall but now why r they not clarifying the ending rumours ??

Because they do not want this to be just a rumour.

U know this is one reason I supported RC and still continue to do so because I see thats the only way to save the show and who knows mayb if RC is treated like fresh season 2 post revamp ,we might get our wishes fulfilled with Swati ,Noel ,Vincent coming back for the fresh new love story

Saving the show for what may I ask? Maaneet? Do we even recognise them now? If the old team has to be back they have to have a new PH. Is the channel willing to throw them out, hire a new PH and continue with a story in the revamped channel all for the sake of the fans who, in their opinion, are not contributing to the trps? If the channel is indeed serious about continuance, they should have come out with an official statement on their website by now and not just answer some fans over the phone. Who knows who answered those calls.
