Naintara is one busy lady!

I knew there would be tons of posts expressing sympathy and support for Maan and/or Geet so I thought I would make one for the vamp we all love to hate, because you can't forget her, even if you have ML like Maan 😆

She certainly is a busy bee these days, trying to control the progress of TWO love stories simultaneously! Here the poor creature is working hard to make Geet look like a wily cheater, stooping to the lowest of lows and there Dev goes behind her back, finding Nandini conveniently alone and in the perfect mood for some intimate conversation! But she made it, just in the nick of time, to mess up there moment too, so I would like to take a moment to express my admiration for NT's commitment to evil, and destroying all that is good and happy in the world! Her focus and single-minded goal-orientedness would surely put any entrepreneur to shame!

Also, I admire her frankness in telling the CVs the one really big mistake they are making in this track. Do you know what I am talking about? No?

"Nandini, you seem like such a bore!" (said in silky, fake tone of voice)

I agree Naintaraji! Thank you for pointing this out. Now I hope CVs will take some action and give Nandini just one scene where we could learn more about her. I mean she could join office and someone could ask about her educational background or for once someone could ask her what she is reading. I love the hints they keep giving about her, that is that she likes reading, is going to do a PhD, doesn't want to get married etc but they never develop it further and she is even a pretty central character at the moment! We got more backstory for Arjun's vampy secretary (Nitya?) than we have for Nandini which is frankly pretty shameful.

Thank you Naintara, for pointing this out, though nobody but Maan seems to take what you say seriously so I can't say the CVs will, and I look forward to hearing about your future endeavours 😃

Oh man, this is the least of my Nandini-ko-bachao posts. I loved her entry on the show, because it reminded me of me (I love rainbows, own that umbrella and have often been told off for walking with my nose buried in a book) and I want to love her character so badly but there is nothing substantial there to relate to. I think she and Dev could be interesting if they developed her character more, especially now that NT is here to form the third side of the triangle!

Lucky got so much character depth in the Preeto storyline, with his inferiority complex, Beeji telling him he wasn't good enough to marry anyone, and finally coming into his own. Even though Nano had her own story she became pretty jellyfish-like after the first ME, in the forest, the moment she started to not hate Dev and the whole Daman story was supposed to be about her but she never did anything. Everything just happened to her.

I am totally thinking of writing my own biography of her character based on the hints the CVs give so I can at least think of that every time I see her on the show. What do you think?

That's an interesting way of looking at it! I like what I know of her as well, but I feel like I know so little and want more for her character. She could be a great companion/friend/sister for Geet or a great addition to the office crowd. I just don't want to see her isolated to Dev and his problems when they can so effectively use her in other storylines as well, making her more known to the audience. Familiarity breeds affection and Nando doesn't feel familiar at all, even though we have known her for months now.

Her accent in English is a bit funny, maybe why Maan and her hit it off so well! 😛 Between his "mittings" and her "dee-vorce" they will invent a whole new dialect! 😆

Don't worry, I'm sure in the upcoming episodes she'll open up... afterall she's Geet's cousin😉
