He fell for her for not only her strength...sherni mode...but because despite having such a horrible family she never stopped smiling...she always spoke her heart...and because she had soo many shades...which Maan fell for...her different shades of being Geet...she was interesting to him...

of course sehar u r making sense...oh, do i love u for this that u said maan developed a soft corner for geet in their very first meeting...i hv always felt this...for me it was love at first sight on maan's side...though i doubt about geet...at that time her mind was full of the impending marriage with the devil...but yes, she did develop a sort of respect for him because he gave her a very gud advice on that first day that she needs to stand on her own feet...

and the most interesting thing is that geet got the strength from this very advice of maan wen she tore the land papers and threw them on maan's face...how ironic it was that maan's advice gave geet the strength to face maan himself...

yeah...i guess it was not sympathy...but a pull that maan always felt for her...i remember wen geet first came to his house in HP...just before that maan was missing her and he was asking himself how come the girl affects him so much...that was way before he came to know that geet's family is torturing her...

last time everything hapnd gradually...but this time things started on a wrong note...maan after getting discharged from hospital sees geet with sindoor...that makes him think she is married...and then office is in a mess and geet always interfering in her life...and dadi always pushing him to behave nicely with geet...all these combined factors r blocking any feelings to develop...although in his heart he is still geet's maan...but his mind cannot feel those old feelings because of the ML...

that is y it is very important to show some inner feelings of maan...wat he really feels about geet can only be known wen he spends some time alone doing tai-chi...
