Yes, I too am eager to see Geet's new approach...what will she do...will she entice him with her SHERNI role, or will she avoid him...and niggle his mind and heart??

In her eagerness to remind him of her past, all she has done is irritate him...provoke him, and as a result earn his wrath. Agreed, that this approach too has brought about some results...its forced him to question Geet's importance in his office, in his home, in daadi ma's life... and inevitably in his life. So far, he has no answers...and his reaction is simply restricted to questions.

If she avoids him...he may feel a gap...feel afloat...without Geet as his anchor. Once he admits this feeling of being adrift...a feeling of not being connected, he will begin to miss her presence in his everyday...every minute life. This missing her...will then lead to some serious investigation to her role in his life...on a conscious level...and on a sub-conscious level...he will begin to gravitate towards her again...he will feel the attraction to her...and will connect with her on a deeper level.

These are simply my guesses...lets see what actually happens!!😉

ok...previously he had a carried over feeling from HP...he saw her suffer in the hands of her own family...he saw her brush with death...is that the only reason y maan fell in love with her...is it all about sympathy, mercy and nothing else...
the love of maneet that we feel so proud of...does that love stand on sympathy...

just because maan in his current memory hasnt seen geet suffer...so he feels nothing for her...previously geet was inept...she used to misplace files, make other mistakes but maan always overlooked because of his growing feelings...wat were those feelings...sympathy for a girl who had no other place to go?

and now even though geet is doing all her work perfectly...she is being treated badly by maan...y so...maybe because maan thinks she is not qualified to work in his company...then how come maan did not fire her in the earlier days like he is doing now...because he knew at that time that geet cudnt survive widout his help...so did everything happen because maan used to feel sorry for geet...

the only thing missing today is that maan doesnt know of geet's tragic past...otherwise every other scenario is same like before wen maan fell in love...

so, wat shud i conclude...maan fell in love out of sympathy and now that the sympathy factor is missing...so he is feeling nothing for her...

can someone plz explain this to me...

Nagz I think she should totally avoid him... But knowing Geet-she can't stay away from Maan too long...So perhaps this fever of hers will give some space between the two. & This way it will allow Maan to think...-think of Geet? Since they're 'Soul mates'-like you said he may feel attraction/connection...

Yeah I agree with you that at present his mind is over powering... he is old MSK who only listens to his mind... but heart has it's own power and it will slowly show it's power on his mind... it's only trying to wake up and when heart over power Mind it is much stronger...

Regarding Geet I am really not sure what her action should be... If he likes her because of some of her weakness again... would it not be like he always falls for her because she is weak infront of him and he cannot bear a strong women infron of him... why can't he fall for stronger Geet this time for a change...

I am really confused on that part... lets see what they show as they are handling this track really well...

But remember Maan's entry? I feel like that day both were attracted to one another but were oblivious to that fact... & He had No sympathy for her what so ever! He left her in the middle of nowhere! I think from that day on he already developed a 'soft corner' for her... I believe because of this connection he felt the need to help her-not because he felt sorry for or pitied her...

The first time he told her of her strength was during the HUM TUM sequence...when she is comparing his pacing to something Daarji would do...and then all of a sudden she gets very sad...and Maan comments on her strength to forget her past and create a new life for herself.

The second instance was the return trip to HP for Rasika Court fiasco...when she stands out on the balcony at night alone...without a blanket and is crying because she misses her home and her family...Maan tells her that she is the STRONGEST 18 year old he has ever met...and that's what differentiates her form the rest of the girls...

So you see...his pull to her was also due to her sheer STRENGTH...her RESILIENCE...and her WILL to survive and PERSEVERE, no matter the odds! Her INNOCENCE topped with STRENGTH, that was the winning combo that stole his heart!!!

You know I completely agree with you about Geet strength and Maan falling strong charecter... I am not able to explain clearly but her situation at that time also acted as some catalyst.. Only initially...

Later he completely fell for who Geet was and that's what we all love in Maaneet...
