Part 2
The kids are sent to the orphanage. They are in a vulnerable state and when they reach; they just doze of.
Geet was very much alive. Mistakenly she was declared dead. She was thrown into the valley when the bus went overboard and met with an accident. She barely had any strength to actually shout out for help. The injuries caused by trauma and she was limping as her left leg was injured. In her very less chances of surviving; all she did was be a good mother and die she thought.
Geet: "Hey Babaji; aaj mere marne se pehle main aapse kuch maangna chaahti hoon; aaj tak aapne meri har dua kubool ki hai; aaj aur ek. Har insaan ko marne se pehle ek aakhri iccha poori karne ka aadhikar hota hai; meri bhi ek iccha hai. Meri aapse guzaarish hai ki aap mere bacchon ka khyal rakhe. Unhe Maan se milwa dena Babaji. Bas aur phir main aapni zindagi aapke hawale karne ke liye tayar hoon. Par aapko mujhse vaada karna hoga ki aap mere bachhon ka aur mere Maan ka hamesha khyal rakhenge. Babaji."
She let out a huge cry and due to the pain; angst; the internal as well as the external bleeding; she collapsed.
It was a bright sunny day; and Maan woke up early as usual and went in the kitchen to make breakfast for him. He had again shifted to the outhouse as it was Geet's maayka and he was trying to cope up with his family's loss. He tried everyday; not to think about Geet and their son'; this made him more vulnerable. Hence just to be close to his Geet; he stayed there. He was ready and was going to the Gurudwara today. It was Geet's and Ansh's birthday today. He never ever believed in God; but after they miraculously saved his child and Geet; he believed in them. He would donate food and clothes to the needy and would then step in his Orphanage.
Once he entered the Orphanage; he felt something was different. He never ever felt that his near ones were here; but today his heart was racing faster. He felt as if Geet was nearby. He ran through the whole of the building finding for her; alas hard luck.
The manager of the Orphanage came running to wards him and said that there are two new kids that have been admitted. And I am sure you want to meet them. Off course was the answer Maan given!
He rushes to see the new kids. Here in the room; Ansh was playing with Leher; and was trying to bottle feed her milk; which she was refusing to drink as from him. She was crying as she was missing her mother. It was a daily routine for her to drink milk and then she would happily play with her brother the whole day.
Both of them are facing their back towards Maan. Maan was anxious to meet them.
In the morning due to the sunrays falling on her; Geet's sleep was disturbed and suddenly she wakes up to find herself surrounded by some villagers. One of the ladies helps her get up and with their support she reaches the village. They make her lie down and apply medicines on her wounds. She takes rest and remembers that she has to return to Delhi. She has to talk to Maan regarding their children's where about. She has to help him to find them. Where they might be right now? Please God just take care of them!
She had some food; thanked the villagers and straight went to the bus stop and took the first bus to Delhi. She had sold her earrings on the way to but tickets for the bus; she had to take that decision. In her life she never ever wanted to lose them; they were special! Maan had gifted when Ansh was born.
In the Orphanage; Maan saw the little angel in his arms and broke down. He gently picked her up and remembered how much he wanted to have a baby girl but then Ansh was born.
Ansh: "Mere behen ko aapne utha kaise liya? Aapki inti himmat ki aap Ansh Singh Khurana ki behen ko haath lagaye?"
Stop it Ansh said the manager.
Maan: "Yeh kaun hai? Ansh Singh Khurana?"
He turned to see Ansh. He couldn't believe his eyes. Yes it was him only! The hope he had been carrying for these many months; the dream that he saw every night; had finally come true!
It was Ansh standing right in front of him. Papa he screamed. He placed her on the bed and rushed to his son's arms.
Maan: "Ansh bete aap yahan kya kar rahe hai? Aur maa kaha hai? Aur yeh choti si bacchi kaun hai? Boliye na Ansh."
Maan said wiping his tears away. If both of them are here where is Geet? He thanked the Almighty for giving him his son back!
Ansh: "Papa yeh meri choti behen hai. Aur Maa bus ke accident main guzar gayi. Aur phir hame police ne yahan is anathashram bhej diya. Papa uska naam Leher hai."
Maan: "Kya kaha tumne Ansh; Geet mar gayi? Yeh kaise ho sakta hai? Yeh kya keh rahe hai aap; nahi meri Geet nahi mar sakti. Woh hame chod ke nahi jaa sakti. Who waapas ayegi Ansh. Dekhna beta; maa aayegi."
He knew he was giving false hope to himself and his kids; but that was the only thing; he had to suppress his pain; his tears; as he had to be strong for Dadima and above all his kids.
Maan: "Ye kya kiya bhagwaan; maine aap par yakeen kiya aur aapne mujhse meri zindagi cheen li. Aap ne bahut galat kiya; lekin phir bhi main aaj aapke saamne jhukta hoon. Kyunki aapne mujhe mere bacche wapas diye; warna pata nahi kaha gaye hote. Main aapka yeh ehsaan kabhi nahi bhoolonga!"
Saying this he took Ansh in a hug and cried his heart out. Ansh wanted to say something.
Ansh: "Papa mujhe hamesha maa ne kaha ki aap hame lene zaroor aayenge. Maa ne kaha ki humne ghar choda kyunki aap humse naaraz the; isliye nahi kyunki aap hamse pyaar nahi karte. Hum wahan us gaav main rehte te to maa hamesha aapko yaad karti thi. Kehti thi ki jab aap aayenge sab theek hoga. Ab sab kaise theek hoga papa. Maa hame chod ke chali gayi."
Maan was just too shocked with the news of Geet's death. His face was showing the pain he was going through.
Maan: "Kaash maine geet par shaq na kiya hota; aur woh ghar chodek kabhi nahi jaati. Sab meri galti hai. Dukh to iss baat ka hai ki maine hamare pyaar par shaq kiya. Hamare rishte ki pavitrata par shaq kiya. Haan maine galat kiya; bas bhagwaan; koi aisa chamatkar kar do jisse mujhe meri zindagi waapas mil jaaye. Taaki main uske saamne mujhe maafe karne ke liye bheek maangoo. Kuch kijiye na Babaji."
He picked up Leher and saw that her features just match Geet's. I so wish Geet was here. I am sorry Geet. Please come back he prayed!
He staright away went to the Gurudwara to pray for the return of his life! I will do anything to get her back from anywhere she is right now! The Baba over their blessed him and told him that go home and perform a Havan for the betterment of your family. And then see; your happiness will be back!
"Babaji unhi ki sunte hai jo sacche dil se apni galtiyon ka prayaschit karte hai. Jaao beta aur apni galti sudharo."
He took both of them home and rushed to Dadima and told her that he found his kids. Dadi was still in coma and only if Geet be back. How do I tell her that Geet has passed away? He held her hand and made her bless his kids.
The bus reaches Delhi and she takes a taxi and reaches the office; hoping that Maan be back. She bumps into Adi and asks him where is Maan? Maan sir hasn't yet come to the office. It's surprising? I mean he literally stays in the office. Geet when did you come back? Sir will be on cloud nine to se you back! Geet just smiled at him and said that I have to rush home! Adi was in a shock; he didn't know what just happened but was too happy to see Geet back in Delhi!
Here in the house; Maan was performing the last rites of Geet. Their was a Havan organized so that her soul may rest in peace. As soon as it began; the Agni went off; creating an Apshakun. Maan didn't understand anything.
The Panditji told him that the person for whom you are performing the rites may be here somewhere.
Aap yeh Kya keh rahe hai Panditji? And with that question he hears someone calling him. It's Geet! Yes; Geet was right in front of him. She came running with a force and made her way into his arms.
Geet: "Maan aapko pata hai kya ki hamare bacche kho gaye hai? Mere accident ke baad; pata nahi wo donon kiss haal main honge. Kuch kijiye na Maan. Kuch to boliye. Maan aap ko sunai de raha hai kya main kya keh rahi hoon? Maan? Maan?"
Maan just pulled her out of the hug; placed his palm on her cheek and said my Mishty is back! I can't believe Geet that you are back! After the accident I was informed that you are no more; and I thought that I will kill myself. Bit; as he was about to continue; she sees Ansh running towards her and she picks him up.
Ansh; Maa aap aa gayi? He said with tears rolling down his cheeks. She almost kissed every inch of his face; and with Maan in his usual mood; stuck up his face; she hit him lightly and said that Maan stop it.
Ansh couldn't stop smiling at his parents fights!
Maan held her hand and took her to their room; he placed her on the bed and hugged her tight. My life is back! The reason for my existence is back!
Maan: "Geet mujhe maaf kardo. Main tadap raha hoon geet; jis din se tum aur Ansh mujhe chod ke gaye; us din se mujhe chain nahi hai. Us din se aaj tak ek pal bhi aisa nahi gujra jab maine tumhare baare main nahi socha; tumhari yaad nahi aayi. Ek lamha tumhare bina sadiyon jitna lamba bita hai. Aur aaj mere bhagwaan na meri sun li. Tum laut aayi geet."
Geet: "Aapko maafi mangne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai Maan. Aapko kya lagta hai ki sirf aapne mujhe yaad kiya; aur mera jo haal tha uska kya Maan? Geet mar sakti hai lekin apne Maan ko kabhi khud se door nahi rakh sakti. Bahut koshish ki maine ki main aapko bhool jaoo; bahut koshish ki main aapke baare main na sochoon; par main haar gayi Maan. Geet apne maan se ek pal bhi door nahi reh sakti. Yeh 10 mahine kaise beetien hain sirf main jaanti hoon. Aapke bina zindagi ka koi astitva nahi Maan. Aapki Geet haar gayi; aapke saamne; aapke pyaar ne use hara diya. "
Sayng this she hugged him tight; to again be in his muscular arms and find the peace she was trying to for the past months.
Sobbing in his arms; her head perfectly under his chin; she continued;
Geet: "Maan aap jaante hai kya hame ek beti paida huyi hai. Uska naam Leher hai; bilkul aapki tarah nautanki baaz hai; har baat main akhdoo giri. Ansh to use Dusht danav kehta hai!"
Geet you told Ansh that you used to call me Dushta danav? How dare you Geet? How can spill secrets in front of my son; which I share with my husband only! And I am the luckiest woman to have found you! Maan where is Dadima?
Maan: "Geet jab se tum ghoom ho jaane ki khabar Dadima ko pata chali uss din se Dadi coma main chali gayi hai. Meri aakhri umeed tum ho Geet; tum hi unhe is sab se waapas laa sakti ho."
Geet was in a distress; how much did my one decision to leave Maan; has had its effects on my every family member. As she was about to get up and leave; she sees Dadima standing right in front of her. Geet you came back! Maan was equally astonished to see Dadima. Geet rushed in her arms; and Dadima was just too happy to have her back with her grandchildren!
Dadima: "Jab aapne is ghar main waapas kadam rakha na; tab hi hum jaan gaye the; ki hamari bachci aa gayi. Aur aapke aane ke khushi se; hamare dil ne hame uthne par majboor kiya. Aap dobara aisi galti nahi karenge. Aap maan aur mujhe chod ke nahi jaayenge. Vaad akijiye hamse abhi aur isi waqt."
Geet: "Nahi Dadima; ab main aisi galti nahi karoongi. Aap ko pata hai chala kya; aapko ek poti bhi huyi hai? Woh Ansh ke saath hai; uska naam Leher hai. Bilkul Maan par gayi hai."
She said with a sparkle in her eyes!
Dadima rushed to take her granddaughter in her arms.
Here Maan was planning a surprise for Geet.
Geet was too happy to be back in her house!
So what is Maan's surprise? And I will bear no rotten tomatoes for not including Maaneet romance in this part!
