I agree with you...me too felt the same..
the whole concept was very creative but the dialouges were too much and pigeon on maan's shoulder..hello cvs its not a comedy show...rather looking intense n romantic it looked really funny.but DD was outstanding with her expressions...and the running hug...awww 😍

but part 2----little bit gc acting was little overboarded were he says if he knew she will part away from him there the emotional and face expression was missing instead he nerrated stylishly that didn't go well with the scene.

but other parts were mindblowing and what do i say about dd what a brillant actress she is loved her work each bit of her expression was a feast to watch .

first of all thank u,becoz after reading ur post,i went and saw the scenes on youtube, or else i would not hv watched the episode. but,thank u becoz i got to see GC's fantastic performance. u can't compare this scene with the tent scene becoz this scene was meant to be dramatic and stylish-remember this is a dream seq-and the scene where u felt his expressions were lacking-actually that was the best part!he did it with excellent style and poise-perfect-since it was a narration,it was not done in an over emotional way!anyways, i could look only at GC today!he was the total show stealer.

Excellent post- you are so spot on, i agree with every point you've made. All those sugary, flowery words do not do justice to Maan or to Geet, How much more impactful would have been a refections of their realtionship and a declaration fo love without all the drama of Maan reading out his letter and without those awful camera angle shots of lips with orange flecks floating about.
For heavens sake, I wish the Cvs would make up their minds and have the guts to either show them kissing or show them not doing anything. All this nudge nudge wink wink style of doing things is awful.
