Hello all I have posted this in Geets post but they thought I should make a spearate post so we all can participate so here I go...

Thanks you friends who thought this could be good reasons.. love you all

I for one has always believe in forgiveness but I do not condemn Geet for not forgiving Maan for this moment of time...

As Jyoti has explained beautifully that the word Gairat has a uttermost important in life of Geet.. She has been treated like a dust of the feet by her so called elders in all her younglife. She was ordered to kill by her own GF in the name of fake prestiage. In her such a young life she has been through a lot and that word Gairat -- self respect had carried her through.

And when MSK entered in her life he also thought that she had no self respect and that is why she is taking all from her family without a word and that thought has made her stand on her own against her tyrannical family and that thought has made her break out from that family's clutches. So indirectly it was MSK who gave her the strength and the aim in her life to fight for her own and she took that in and stood against tyranny of her grand father and veerji.

So as if it was MSK who gave her that zeal and that zest and it was MSK who witnessed everything.. her flight her fight and her struggle for existence in the city like Delhi. It was MSK who came after her after the incident of her torn saree in party. So MSK was the source of her Gairat and he himself provided that force in her life..

Now coming from the same person that she has no gairat is like sucking the life and life support out of her.. And she truly said that this is not the words spoken just by your anger.. Only anger do not produce this volcanic irruption... He was meditating on those thoughts for a while and then concluded without talking to her that she was without self respect.

It was not only the anger that MSK spoke these words... In those words he was disgusted that she was like that he thought so low of her and detached himself from her and that was the killer.. after he said those she had no life left in her.. She rightly said that he has killed her love

It is not that she does not love him or she does not care for him or she does not want to be with him but those words are so poisonous that as soon as it touched her and her loved just withered away. Her survival depended upon how MSK sees her and how MSK values her. But when MSK thought she was begairat there is no meaning of her life there is no meaning of her survival there is no meaning of her joy or existence..

Yes it will take time to heal this hurt. The hurt is not going to be erased by just simple sorry.. A simple sorry may start the healing process but the hurt is so deep to her core that she cannot forget it so easily.

Even if she forgets and forgives and goes back to MSK who knows in a month or two once again his anger may explode and he will say some more mean things and the cycle may repeat..

No as much as this hurt needs to go from her... in the same manner this anger and arrogance from MSK needs to go too... The complete healing only will take place when both the party will heal

MSK also needs to take out this anger issue from him and that only can be done once he realizes how deep the hurt is and he has hurt the person for whose love he can lay down his life... He has killed that emotions of love and respect which automatically comes in Geet when she lays eyes on him. Now looking at him just tears come in her eyes and she remembers those hurtful words and she withers inside..

No that feeling of love and adoration needs to come back in Geet's eyes when she sees him and for that it will take time

Geet is now so hurt that now she is surviving on her hurt but she also needs to come to the point where she will seek his love and will realise that she cannot survive on hurt but only his love and for that MSK has to give her that love and pour it down on her that the hurt may washed away..

I think the bottom line here is not who insulted whom and in front of whom.. That question does not have any connection at all..

This is between Maan and Geet and their relationship..

How it was built and how it came around...

If you remember the first ride Maan gave her and left her in the middle of the road telling her that unless you control your tears and stand on your two feet you will be in this pathetic situation all your life..

Geet took those words to her heart and started to raise her voice... and if we remember during her first mehndi she was able to tell Brij Veerji that he was wrong and got a big slap from Brij.. but the bottom line is that the words of Maan always have promted her to do right thing.

Even when Maan left her on the road after the assults of Brij on her life. She calmly took the sword and went and exposed the whole thing in front of villagers and called police and put Brij in jail..

No one knows better then Maan what Geet went through. As he was the only witness of all the wrong done to her and how she fought and how she came out alone and how she survived all these things in this young age of 18..

Maan always have been the source of her inspiration.. her life... her existence.

So when Maan said those words after the one week of utter uncommunication it means he was pondering on those thoughts and was harboring those thoughts about her being begairat.. and that was hurting her.. She just cannot forget the fact that Maan her Maan who thought that non was better then her... Once he told her that he did not loose his family because of her but let them go because she was right and her fight was right and that is why he stood with her. He also told her that if she was not right in her fight and in her integrity he would never have given her any support..

And also remember the night of their engagement.. Geet was feeling uncomfortable for doing this fake engagement but then he calls her on the terrace and says that he wants this engagement to be real. Geet asks why? He says Geet I know you and your self respect that you will not feel comfortable with this fake thing so he tells her that there is nothing fake in their relationship and no lie no deceit or anything false in their relationship everything true and every thing genuine...

Now the same person thought that she was begairat... no this is not a small thing. The thought came in his mind and he kept thinking on it and he established the fact in his mind that it is so... that means he was believing what he was watching since the time he heard Geet say those words to Dev and I think behind those words there was a shadow of doubt.. and that was hurting Geet..

This is absolutely between Maan and Geet and their understanding about each other.

The thing was hurting Geet was how a man who knows her inside out...

A man who knows that she loves him to death..

A man who knows that her life revolves around him...

A man knows that for Geet sun rises and sets on him...

A man who knows that he is the one whom she clings to for her existence

A man knows that without him Geet feels that she has nothing

The same man thought she has no self respect

The same man thought her blood is not worthy to be compared to his

The same man separated him from her action

That is what is hurting Geet... That how could he even entertain that thought but he said it loud and clear and that sucked the life out of her.

That made her totaly dead inside..

That killed whatever she was fighting for

That killed her desire to have new life and on top of that we cannot forget that just before a week she lost a baby for whom she stood against the whole world and now Maan so she had no desire to live.. no desire to speak to any one no desire to even rise up the next day.. she is breathing because it is automatic.. She sees something and her mind does not register the significant of the incident,

So now Maan has found her he was too happy to see her and so was she he says so very sorry but she has no life to respond to him. She has no zest to go on.. Initially she feels the joy of his presence but then those poisonous words drains her and she closes herself in her hurt

Cause when she sees Maan or when she remembers him and their good time and when those romantic moments come to her mind ... but then it gets over shadowed by his harsh and cruel words and that is what upsetting her and she just cannot forget those words.. and instead of being happy with those beautiful memories she starts crying and her heart aches.. and the hurt surfaces and love goes down..

Yea she rightly said that Maan's anger has killed her love but only on the surface. Their love is still there rooted deep in her heart but on the surface the plant is ruined and now from those deep root of love a new plant of life needs to spring up and the gardener MSK himself has to work hard to bring the life in to that burnt plant as he only has the key to the root cause of that burnt

It is like the sun who gives the life to the plant but sometimes the scorching heat burns it... So now the gardener who was careless to let the sun burn the plant only knows how to protect it and how to take care of it and how to nourish it so that the life may come back to the plant and it flourishes again

but until the life comes back the plant it is almost dead except the root...

So now Maan has to work hard to take away the effects of those words so that when he comes to her mind those words do not bare their marks but are washed away by his constant love and care

Yea she has no life left in her even to respond to the plea of Maan for forgiveness..

Maan her Maan is asking her to forgive but she just cannot go pass that hurt to forgive him and forget what he said..

There is a deep valley of hurt between her and Maan and Maan has to fill that valley with his love to go to her as she has distance herself from her life that his her Maan..

Geet needs to feel that deep love she always feels when she sees Maan.. Now she initially does but then those words come back to her to wash away her love and then she is all empty and crying and hurt and miserable... Cuase she loves him and wants to be with him but just cannot stand the wall of this hurt between them... Maan needs to break that wall and lead her once again in the green pastures of their love

Even When Maan was asking for the forgiveness he was still telling her that it was his anger that has caused him to say those words untill she told him really? was it your anger or your pondering thoughts you were entertaining without asking me the reason behind my forgiveness to Dev..

Maan was taken back by that and then only he realised that how deep the hurt is... He wanted her to come to him rightaway as he himself has gone after her to find her but Geet says no she has no life left in her to respond to that plea.. Maan only understood after Geet told him the truth behind his explosive anger and then he realised how deeply he has hurt Geet and then he just stood there doing nothing and let go of his Geet without fight..

He needed to clean himself with those thougts of doubt on Geet.. He needed to look deep inside his soul that produced such words from within himself... he needed to find the cause of it... and then he knew that Geet is too hurt to listen to his plea he just cannot reach her. Geet did not walk away because he was angry.. She walked away lifeless because he doubted her love... her integrity and her loyalty to him. in few words he just poured the acid of his anger not just anger but the reason behind that anger and killed the plant of their love

Even at the time of their wedding Brij came to kill her and in front of all the wedding guests called her characterless and a tramp but it did not bother her. instead she challanged him and told in front of all that yes she is going to be a mom and is proud of it becasue she has her Maan with her and he gave her the right to be happy and to have a new life..

But when MSK himself thougth that she was begairat then it just sucked the life out of her and she became lifeless now she cannot respond to love or any plea from MSK himself... as she does not feel anything except hurt.

Even when the photoframe of MSK fell on the ground she just lifelessly picked it up and caressed his picture automatically but there was no life in that but if you recall the same incident just before the Nizamuddin Dargha scene she was running like crazy after him all the way to Nizamuddin and realised there that it effected her so much because she loved him.

now she is empty of all those emotions and needs to be filled up by Maan's love. She needs to feel that pain without his presence but now she just feels void cause she has no life..

She prays for him that babaji be with him but still it is automatic there is no passion in that..

She need to be worried and impatient and disturbed and distressed and anxious for him but all those emotions are burried inside the hurt so what ever she may feel only hurt surfaces and unless that goes all other emotions are not going to surface..

so let' see how MSK will take away that hurt and bring his lively bubbly Geet back

Maan is known to say a lot of things in his anger which he really does not mean. But that is no excuse for him to be forgiven. That is why it is said - Words once spoken can never be taken back. This time, he deserves the punishment that is being meted to him.

Like many have said earlier, her self-respect is what kept her going in life. She is not one who consciously does anything to hurt anyone and has always believed in simply values - simplicity, forgiveness, finding happiness in small things, not holding grudge for too long, belief, nonviolence. Maan not only questioned her self-respect but also suggested a change in her, he wanted her to give up a lot of her values that she believed in when he questioned her judgement. I can understand why she is hurt. I hope she finds peace again, and soon.

I also appreciate Maan's determination to have his Geet back. He was a man who never apologized and always prided in doing the right thing. But now, when he knows he made a mistake, he is willing to move heaven and earth to bring her back. I hope he succeeds.
