Maan is known to say a lot of things in his anger which he really does not mean. But that is no excuse for him to be forgiven. That is why it is said - Words once spoken can never be taken back. This time, he deserves the punishment that is being meted to him.

Like many have said earlier, her self-respect is what kept her going in life. She is not one who consciously does anything to hurt anyone and has always believed in simply values - simplicity, forgiveness, finding happiness in small things, not holding grudge for too long, belief, nonviolence. Maan not only questioned her self-respect but also suggested a change in her, he wanted her to give up a lot of her values that she believed in when he questioned her judgement. I can understand why she is hurt. I hope she finds peace again, and soon.

I also appreciate Maan's determination to have his Geet back. He was a man who never apologized and always prided in doing the right thing. But now, when he knows he made a mistake, he is willing to move heaven and earth to bring her back. I hope he succeeds.

Thank you SOsrfun... Yes Maan is too good to be a true kind of person but his main weakness has always been his anger and when he is angry he just utters whatever he thinks is right but it may not always be right..

Until now no one dare to say anything but now Geet is his wife and his love has given her right to tell him if he was wrong.. Maan loves Geet to death and that love started to spring in him by the small and simple things of life Geet enjoyed.. Geet's naiveness and simplicity was the thing which attracted him to Geet and he just could not resist but fall in love with her.

But he is bit complicated person and now as he and Geet share a life he needs to come out of his complicated manner of life and adopt simple things as those are the things which brings simple joy and simple happiness in lives. He can be a great MSK in the business world but not at home with his wife and his life which now he shares with Geet.

I believe that When Maan and Geet were not married and then we took the side it was ok but now they are married and we just cannot see them separately..

Maan and Geet both has to be dealth within the limit of their despostion and their natural attitude. Now we cannot see who is right and who is wrong but see why the one feels this way or the other and the reason behind it..

Wow Eva that was superbly written...u have explained each little bit so beautifully that I have no words to describe how i felt after reading it......I wanted to highlight some lines...but the more I read the more i realised that there were no few lines which i could highlight......so I say only this.....

Hats off to u for ur beautiful analysis of Geet's reasons for not forgiving MSK in a hurry.....as u say she definitely will but it will take her a little time and much effort on the part of MSK for her to do so....

I also hope we don't read any more posts bashing Geet for being unforgiving after all read this .......

one more thing i want to add...I think all of us should take a lesson from Geet and always stand up for what we believe to be right...if our men/husbands hurt us they should not be allowed to get away easily with a sorry...we too have our feelings and they can't simply walk all over us because we are their wives.....I know that almost all male readers will be gunning for me after reading this ...but thats simply my POV.....

Hi all Thank you for your input...

Right now I am at work and cannot respond you individually but I am reading everyones POV and really love it that so many of you agree with me on Geet's perspective.

And for those who are bashing Geet or bashing Maan... for them I only have few words that probably they do not understand the character of Geet or Maan and the theme of the story..

This is not the deabate of how MSK is right or Geet is right.. This is the story of two individuals and how they react with each other in their natural way and how they being a husband and wife needs to find a solution not to over shadow other and come to respect each other views.

The story is not about a single individual it is about them and their life together and how they love each other... or misunderstand each other and how it happens and how they find the solution in the tough situation and win each other back...

So it is all about Maaneet and not just Maan or just Geet
