It was Geet I connected to when I first watched the series. Maan's character grew on me over time, but it was always Geet that I connected to. I cannot connect to her anymore. Something feels dead in me when I think of Geet's character today. Dol, you have summed up the changes so well. People always change even in the real world for better or for worse, and it appears that Geet has changed too. She is no longer the strong woman who in face of immense adversity declared that she will hunt Dev to make sure no one else suffers the same fate as she does. This is the change that pains me a lot.

Others also changed as you pointed, and the story is no longer what I fell in love with. The characters are not the same though they don the same names and are played by the same actors. I will forever mourn the untimely death of a beautiful story that could have been crafted so well with a very powerful social message. Now, it is nothing more than mockery of marital relationships. How I wish this day has not come.

Very well said. CVs have failed to portray Geet Character. Today when I was watching even bit felt sympathy for Geet when they were showing she is in pain of away from Maan. Instead of sympathizing, I was irritated to see Geet character. I cannot see Maan as lallu or Joru ka ghulam when he has not done mistake. CVs have done great damage to story as DMG. Now there is no chance for correcting. In this forum many are being positive and are just want to see GC. But I was sticked to the serial only bcoz of story. I had felt the realty and struggle of a woman. But now I have a feeling that I have lost some thing important in my life. I know its a serial and fiction character. But i am not able to accept it. I think it will take some to time to heel the pain of loosing.

You know something, as i quoted ankita, i started ignoring geet lately, the same geet whom i used to like a lot ! Exactly.

A relation, especially marriage, (according to what I have learned in my fifteen years of life) is an eternal relationship most importantly, being mutual as you said. If any relationship is not mutual, it can't last for long. Because, even there is a limit to tolerance. But here, there's no limit to tolerance. Yes, Maan has always tolerated it. Whereas Geet has failed to do so. She mostly showed us and Maan that her love was conditional. and actually it was(sadly). And even after this, it is truly suffocating to see that the one at fault is not even realizing her fault and the one who is realizing the fault is actually not at fault.
