THEN and NOW....

Some people here are overly positive about the new track. I see it from a totally different angle....CHANGE!!!!

Changes in Dadima:
Before Maaneet got together, she was the cool dadi. Always full of fun and positive energy. She always had ways to make things alright. After Maaneet got together, all she has been is a crying old lady who just keeps thinking about how she wants things done under the name of approaching end of life.

Changes in Dev:
Before Maaneet he was sick, guilty and a pain in the neck for everyone. After Maaneet got together, he suddenly turned into a lovable, wise saint!

Changes in Geet:
A small town girl with nothing in hand except some courage and strength to fight against the world. After she got into a relationship with Maan, she not only rose from her simple outlook to that of a classy and demanding woman (of course thanks to the tag of being Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana), but also suddenly became an abla naari because the world has nothing better to do than going after her to trouble her.

Changes in Maan:
From being a well established classy business tycoon before he met Geet, to becoming a 'yes ma'am' henpecked of a husband after marriage, to becoming a driver running around the country to find his lady love. Really....love does nothing good for you I am beginning to think

QUESTION to ALL:
When does a woman leave her home and refuses to forgive her husband? Only in 2 occasions according to me:
- Either she is being tortured by her family and needs to run for her life...
- She loves someone else..

Now answer...just because of one tiff...is it right to leave the home? How can a woman see her husband reduce from a business tycoon to a mere driver...one who loved her so dearly...and she knows this is a fact? How can you have the heart to see this sight?

This Geet is beyond me...she is not the one I used to fight with people for :(

I'm with you...

Its not change of scenario or change of track....its simply detaching from the original storyline, characterization.....& its not groW*H but fall in the graph.

'The only constant thing is change'.
Yes I know nothing is static. People change as their environment, their situation & circumstances change. Experience & emotions we exposed to change us & so do people who cross our life & more the ones who stop in our life, they change us.

But within this change one thing that does not change is who we are, our soul holds our true self to us always just like the roots holding to ground when branches aspire to touch the sky.

DadiMaa - She is now not anymore called our 'naughty Dadi' but now she is termed 'pendulum'.
Where has the old lady disappeared who had told Geet 'Maan is always with the right' then what made her go against that very believe she holds dear to her heart.


Dev - Dev...I just want to know what earned him the forgiveness for his sin....what was the 'remorse' bit he did & I missed..! All I saw him do is weep around all day & BANG he is forgiven
& that one act of forgiveness by Geet gives him the right to question Maan & then preach him love...And soon we learn that he is no more Devil but Devta for the day as he understood the 'poor common girl' better than the Dust Danav husband of hers.

Geet - The more I say is less. I cannot relate to the woman who walked out of her true marriage, walked away from the man who protected her, her tears have always scorched his soul, her happiness he holds above everything else, her self respect above his own pride.She walked out of her marriage, leaving her love , her man & her home for few rude words alone. Yes the one we love & trust their words hurt us the most but don't their pain affect us first too.Instead of feeling his pain, confronting him with her own hurt she walked away from him for forever. No I cannot relate to this woman.
I cannot relate to this woman who can see her man do all this for her & not for once reflect on her actions....but as I see she has no qualms so far.
If a woman truly loves her man, she would never behave like her.

Maan - Only character I take pride in admiring & loving....changes yes..Lord! many changes.
He had once said 'I'm Maan only to U .For the rest of the world I 'm MAAN SINGH KHURANA'.
It was not his ego but his pride, pride not in his 'blue blood' but in the fact that he stands for his principles & that has earned him the respect from even his enemies.

Love kai side effects ...ahh! did see....he is the man of the house, has the responsibility of being the head of a big business house with people depending on him...& what he has to do now is run after his 'run away wife'.

Guess this is hat-trick by Geet na...first engagement time, horrible friday & again now...should i applaud it as character consistency or the fact that she refuses to grow up & face the issues esp. emotional ones where she might be wrong.


Show - What more do I say when the PH itself is calling it 'New Story'. My question to them .....
When did the old one end?

now these are totally my views .....

hopefully the future track will help to bring back the characters that we love to their full glory.... let's atleast give the cv's a chance to rectify whatever mistakes they have made in the past few weeks.... i feel the worst characterization in all this has been dadi.... i cannot see the regal lady we saw in the initial days... and i'm not talking about the change in actor here....

Love does bring out the best and worst in u...sadly...it's only geet who seems to bear the brunt of all the attacks..

A. I did not attack Geet....
B. Although you post does not say it directly, it hints that I am a Maan fan...which I am not. I have never been....I just hate to see a woman break her home. Being a woman I know how important it is to bring out peace and harmony in our relationships....not walk out. A woman can make homes but a woman can break homes...and the fact I am showing my disappointment for her shows that I do not want her to get that tag...
