Geet I felt connected to was the woman in love who having seen the broken frame of the man's picture who she felt binded to by an unknown force, by destiny; overcome by concern for his well being had rushed with the need to see him once to sooth her soul to know that he is fine.

But I cannot relate to the Geet who seeing the broken frame of her husband's picture frame dropped tears of silent prayer but dint feel the need to call him, hear him once for herself to know that he is fine.

Neither could I relate to the woman who is so much engrossed in self pity that has not for once has thought of the well being of her man & her family knowing that like her they too will be suffering.

But I cannot relate to the woman, a wife who let her family bad mouthed her husband & instead of stopping them or herself reflecting what Maan is to her stood there listening to them.

The bride who shivered in fear at her mandap that her Darji will separate her from her Maan, acknowledged Beeji's order to never allow her to see him, go to him with a smile.No I don't relate to her.

But I cannot relate to the woman did not feel the pain, the hurt in the anger of this man who did not blink once before jumping in between her & the bullet that was meant for her.

But I cannot relate to the woman who walked out of her true marriage, walked away from the man who protected her, her tears have always scorched his soul, her happiness he holds above everything else, her self respect above his own pride.
She walked out of her marriage, leaving her love , her man & her home for few rude words alone. Yes the one we love & trust their words hurt us the most but don't their pain affect us first too.

Instead of feeling his pain, confronting him with her own hurt she walked away from him for forever. No I cannot relate to this woman.

Okay babes, i read for 4th time, and this time, i could not resist but comment on the said post !

These were the lines, which made me speechless and sad !

They are freaking TRUE !

There was a time, when i used to love geet, i mean, i used to admire geet and her love for maan and her fight for self respect, but it all washed away ! I really bad for the show, and geet !

I remember the teri deewani seq, and how she had fought with him, at that time, i think, maan really said harsh words and hurt geet, but at that time, she did not care about it, and ran like a crazy girl in love ! 😳

And, now this was not even the major fight, and she left !

How bad it is ! Irony is that, same scenes, but what a huge difference and change in the character !

by this time...we stupids would have shouted hoarse trying tto put some sense into their heads..and leave the serial n them forever knowing it will be of no use giving our input..
slowly the crase wears out expect for some mad fans like us..they give a apt ending suitable at that time.
slowly our fav actors come in different new show..n we switch to that serial..
then when a same situation like this arise...they show this as an example "see wat happened to so n so serial" ..hope it doesnt happen to this one too...etc etc..
and the story begins all over again..
this goes on n on...until we all grow up😛😆

What a journey? But, it's sad to see that this is actually the truth.

Nandu, you don't have to give dhamkis. I come to IF now mainly to read your posts, the links of which I get from FB. I caught up with Geet after reading your 'The Wait' post. Keep the posts coming. They are more worthy than watching the actual episodes.

Its not change of scenario or change of track....its simply detaching from the original storyline, characterization.....& its not groW*H but fall in the graph.

Yes I know nothing is static. People change as their environment, their situation & circumstances change. Experience & emotions we exposed to change us & so do people who cross our life & more the ones who stop in our life, they change us.

DadiMaa - She is now not anymore called our 'naughty Dadi' but now she is termed 'pendulum'.
Where has the old lady disappeared who had told Geet 'Maan is always with the right' then what made her go against that very believe she holds dear to her heart.

Dev - Dev...I just want to know what earned him the forgiveness for his sin....what was the 'remorse' bit he did & I missed..! All I saw him do is weep around all day & BANG he is forgiven
& that one act of forgiveness by Geet gives him the right to question Maan & then preach him love...And soon we learn that he is no more Devil but Devta for the day as he understood the 'poor common girl' better than the Dust Danav husband of hers.

Geet - The more I say is less. I cannot relate to this woman who can see her man do all this for her & not for once reflect on her actions....but as I see she has no qualms so far.
If a woman truly loves her man, she would never behave like her.

Maan - Only character I take pride in admiring & loving....changes yes..Lord! many changes.
He had once said 'I'm Maan only to U .For the rest of the world I 'm MAAN SINGH KHURANA'.
It was not his ego but his pride, pride not in his 'blue blood' but in the fact that he stands for his principles & that has earned him the respect from even his enemies.

Love kai side effects ...ahh! did see....he is the man of the house, has the responsibility of being the head of a big business house with people depending on him...& what he has to do now is run after his 'run away wife'.

Guess this is hat-trick by Geet na...first engagement time, horrible friday & again now...should i applaud it as character consistency or the fact that she refuses to grow up & face the issues esp. emotional ones where she might be wrong.

Show - What more do I say when the PH itself is calling it 'New Story'. My question to them .....

Maan is the only one I respect still....but (yaar please jhoote math maaro) I do have some respect for Dev...at this point....he is trying his best to get Maan and Geet together.....come on give him a little credit.😊😊..

And how can we forget Adi...bechara....bewaje maar khaya hai usne....usne to socha bhi nahi hoga....ke shaadi ke time ladke walo ke side lene se....ladke ki naam ki pitayi bhi sehhni paregi.....bechara....😆

Par ek baat to hai....jitna pyar Geet Maan ke photo se karti hai...kash utna hi pyar voh us se bhi karti😆...to Maan ko driver nahin ban na partha.....

Kaash mujhse koyi itna pyar karta par hum sab ki kismat Geet jaisi kahan?😆
