u forget all the scenes in which maan carrying up. . .the swimming pool scene. . .n when geet get down on the maan. . .well yup its quite difficult scenes for girl!! but drashti did :D

The only reason why we seem to go on and on about being maan maniacs is (lol- at least where i am concerned), a lot of us are of the female sex and going gaga over geet is not the way some of us swing. But appreciate her acting thouroughly and completely. Dhak Dhak would not be so dhak dhak if he did not have geet by his side to portray his intense love, attraction and all those emotions we love Maan for. Geet and Maan are indeed an integral part of the show and both compliment each other extremely well where their cadre of acting goes.

Drashti is best all the time

From my POV Drashti is NO. 1 .......... She does not any ratings to prove herself...........She is far better than any of her contampories..........

Yes, very true Drashi is a fabulous actress and extremely gorgeous.

To be very honest, I was never fond of watching tv serials before and moreover never really had a favorite among tv serial actresses becuz, for me no one was that competitive enough as it was all just saas-bahu prancing around in embroidered sarees and just rhona dhona.

My opinion changed when I saw Geet. Both GC and Drashti are just brilliant in their scenes in fact at times they can enact such challenging scenes with so much brilliance and it seems so real that you forget for a second that they are acting. They are that good, even way better than some of the bollywood actors/actresses we have.

Though I do agree that Drashti at times is more convincing than Gurmeet, as in the hospital hug she was totally in her character which is what made that hug more passionate. With Gurmeet sometimes it seems like he is not totally in his character and his mind is preoccupied. I am not saying that Gurmeet isn't a great actor..........he is as there are lots of scenes in which he has portrayed his incredible acting skills that another actor wouldn't have excelled in but, I just feel that in some scenes Drashti passes out with flying colors.

Drashti has truly changed my opinion about tv serial actresses as I realized that we have brilliant actresses like her who can portray any character with elegance and brilliance. She played the role of Muskaan very gracefully as her comic timing is just hilarious and with Geet she excelled even more higher and portraying such a depth to the character and her expressions are just out of this world!

Sorry gal I personally feel Gurmeet is far better in self realization and serious scenes!Without saying words also we got his emotions right!
(Example the repenting one last week)

U adore her does nt matter but gurmeet is now a competitor to himself.He is way ahead in all his expressions than DD.

For me DD is good at comics n romance!

she is the best, after seeing her in geet, i went back to see all dmg episodes with her in it and she is just great, so different and so versitile, love her more and more, love her more than MSK

Yes, Drashti deserves all the applaud. She is impeccable in her acting and seems as chirpy and positive as Geet in real life. I think that the character sketch of Maan is a notch above that of Geet, but Drashti lifts Geet's character to higher level by her acting skills. I have rarely liked a female protagonist so much, but Geet is iconic. And, a lot goes to Drashti's way of portraying Geet.

Talk about it...she's the sole reason I watch Geet....am not a GC fan tho he does do a good job...but Drashti.....Like a post on U tube said...''How can she look so innocent and Hot at the same time.'' The very fact about Drashti being such a cheerful and bubbly person n then playing a docile meek introvert like Geet...proves that she is indeed fantastic. Remember in one interview she said that she used to cry on the sets daily cuz she used to worry if she could play Geet or not.

Also in Dmg she was the life of the show. She , Mayank and Pankit brought in the comic element n they alone got the mood cheerful. Poor thing also has to wear a wig in many sequences of Geet and I think we all know the problems that are a result of it.

Love Drashti...she alone cud've played Geet. Mmmuah!
