this show is about Geet handa and their chemistry is awesome...Maan completes Geet and Geet completes Maan! GC's character Maan is such, a tough business man of course he will potray just that. yes, he speaks volumes with his eyes. Drashti as Geet is awesome and trust me she can do comedy and emotional scenes to the core...she emotes so well. I remember when she was crying with a faint smile, she just blew me away...she is great!

I would not agree that DD cannot carry off passionate scenes. The story has not demanded that of her as of now. Only Maan is shown to be the passionate one. Geet with her past is still grappling with it to really let go completely. When she does, I'm sure DD will excel in it too.

I feel both GC and DD are excellent actors and do complement and complete each other. Between the two, I feel DD is the more naturally talented girl. Her scenes seem effortless and spontaneous. GC is a very hard working actor and his hard work is seen. More than natural talent he has risen because of his hard work. I would liken them to Kajol and Amir. Kajol is a natural actress whereas Amir is a self made actor not a born actor.

As to emoting with eyes I think both GC and DD excel in it and their comic timing is perfect. They are completely in synch which is why their scenes are so good.

Correct observation. DD acts more naturally than GC in intimate scenes - where Maan seems to be uncomfortable or waiting for the director to say cut. That's why the last hug was so appreciated - atleast he was actually hugging her and just not holding her like before. DD is a much better actor within the two - she relates to the character. Maan is good in his angry image but still stiff in romantic scenes with Geet. GC has the glamour factor in his Maan look but DD has to show Geet's natural look.

No Doubt Drishti is a wonderful actress.She has a simple beauty also.Hey we can add even dargha scene where she has shown multiple expressions like (Love, Care, Happiness after seeing mann) in her two beautiful eyes.One more scene where she locks Mann in conference room and tells him all the truth of her past where she has shown Feeling of even motherhood in saving her child marvellous HATSSSSSSS OFF to drishti.Guru is also a very good actor.That is the reason they both r Wonderful and Superb couples in TV industry.I am sure no body can beat them now

@bluefish,i want to add,i personally like her comic timing,the way she talks with non-living things,do u remember the mug scene in the outhouse,when she didnot want to go in front of him and recent monday episode were she talks to the phone,i love that😃

With most of us lusting after Mann, we often forget if it is not for the way Drashti interacts with that Character, things would not have been the same. She is a great actress and thanks for this post highlighting her qualities

Hi, I am a new entrant but an old maneet fan. Have to say I like all the different posts on geet hui sabse parayi, they are refreshingly honest, witty and always hearteningly ott on our favourite maneet.

My sincere pov on geet (dd) is that she is a seriously talented actoress, she has always done more than a justifyiable role in every episode. She carried forward the show superbly when the storyline was still in its infancy and when Maan had not yet entered the scene. I doubt we were watching the show cause of daarji or the likes of them in the begining. It was her acting that was a big engaging factor (at least for me), and then with Maan on the scene they both instantly started setting the screen on fire with superb chemistry and both executing their characters so well.

The only reason why we seem to go on and on about being maan maniacs is (lol- at least where i am concerned), a lot of us are of the female sex and going gaga over geet is not the way some of us swing. But appreciate her acting thouroughly and completely. Dhak Dhak would not be so dhak dhak if he did not have geet by his side to portray his intense love, attraction and all those emotions we love Maan for. Geet and Maan are indeed an integral part of the show and both compliment each other extremely well where their cadre of acting goes.
