I agree...she is the rason i watch this show...the positive attitude an dcourage she i sshowing while potraying geet...she makes me feel that she is the geet and not DD.....so kudos to her acting skills...i am in love with this charecter because of her....

Agree with you she is wonderful...i thought she outdid even her earlier scenes just recently in the epi where she has to fight for her relationship with MSK and cries when he's turned away but changes to smiling-through-tears when he turns around. There were so many subtle changes of emotion in that scene - how she could do it? I also think, though, that GC is every bit as good as she is. The show couldn't work without the both.

yes DD is good in emotional scenes. however, GC is far better in passionate and aggressive scenes. Also he is better to show pain and love through his eyes, which i find sometimes lacking in Drashti. I always felt that love and passion oozes out of GC more than DD and thse scenes become a notch higher between them.

I would not even bring in AS in this. Putting GC in the same category as AS is unfair. This show took off in fame when GC entered as Maan. So I think it is both Gc and DD make this show. Both emote differently but they together they rock the scene.

i loved the 'shock' she showed on her face today when she saw NT. Not just when she saw her, but the whole time NT was talking ... Geet's face was amazing, just one expression, shock. Nothing else was penetrating ...

And then, the icing was ... what she asked - 'you're outta jail?' It was so real, how she was stuck in that one moment, of shock, and then took it up to where she'd last met NT, going off to jail.

I can add more, but I just loved how that started off today. She keeps adding more to her list 'been there done that' ... she's definitely a rising star.
