Drashti is most likely Gujrathi.

-First, her name isn't Punjabi/Sikh. I mean, yea she lives in Mumbai so maybe that's why she doesn't have a typical Punjabi name.

-When you watch this video, her massi is wearing a sari. Punjabi women typically don't wear them. She says her real brother's name is Jaysheel/Jaisheel. Again, not a typical Punjabi/Sikh name. All her other brother's had what I believe are typical Gujrathi/Hindu names. Also, she put tika on all of them. Sikhs don't do that, well from the Sikhs I know.

Again, from the name, you can tell she's not Sikh.

-Lastly, this is her bhabi, I suppose. This is Abha, she's from yaha main ghar ghar kheli. She's married to Drashti's brother. (http://india-forums.com/tellybuzz/starry-takes/6344-i-am-lucky-suhasi-garodia-dhami.htm) There was another article where it said that her husband is Gujrathi.

Well, I've never heard of any Gujrathi with the last name "Dhami", it's a typical Punjabi/Sikh name. Maybe her dad's Punjabi/Sikh?

She says our. I mean yea, obviously people from other religions can go, but "ours" makes it more significant. Not to mention, she says "babaji".

-Her Punjabi is really good. In the sbs video of when she's spying on Maan and Pari, she says "Jo bole so nihaal, sat sri akal" and "ki farak penda hai yaaro", she sounds very Punjabi. Then again, Punjabi isn't hard to speak when you know Hindi since they are quite similar.

Lastly, it doesn't matter but it's always nice to know these sort of little fact. In conclusion, she's most likely Gujrathi.

Someone had posted this earlier on this forum...it's a pic of Dhrashti's mom and I assumed she was a Sikh because her mom is wearing a Khanda...I could be wrong...maybe she's a mix

she has a hardcore punjabi accent though.
u can just tell the way she speaks punjabi. she spoke fluent punjabi in DMG also.
when non-punjabi speaker tries to speak punjabi,u can just tell that they r not punjabi
