Very interesting point about the contradictory views on women Swati. True...it cannot all be from one woman!

It is nice how the writers have shown Maan's character being shed of all these prejudices as he has fallen deeper and deeper in love with Geet. Love is a true healer of all wounds. His view of purity is now Geet...a woman!

@Swati: I agree completely, the basic distrust does arise out of something to do with his parents. His dad obviously remarried. So well either his mom passed away or she walked out on him in his childhood. The basic distrust would suggest latter.
About sameera being wife, I am not convinced she was his wife. I too feel that his marriage would have been something he would have told geet. Too much liberty to take in the trust truth foundation.
What I feel is: dadi somehow pataofyed him for a marriage to sameera who most probably wasn't in too much for it. Neither was msk. Hence the anjaana ehsaas. But something caused sameera to walk out. Considering the positivity article, maybe she loved someone else. Was pregnant but that guy wasn't ready. So msk was like I will take care, but she left him for her lover in the end. Hence the distrust.
I know too much ekta.. But that's the only way I can fit the pregnancy as msk doesn't seem to be someone who would go ahead and sleep with her if he didn't feel deeply for her.

Swati: don't worry, I am sure msk can't be portrayed very human coz he has been portrayed too close to being like god. So they will have some positivity in store..

@swati..i think along with sameera there has to be some childhood trauma that has made him as he is..............when he was with sameera he must have felt he was in love ..but the feelings he started feeling for geet was different from what he ever felt hence the anjaana ehsaas and his realization that what he feels for geet is love.........something he never felt earlier.........sameera more than his heart seems to have hurt his ego and a man like MSK can never take such a hard blow and not be affected by it.....hence he deemed everyone woman to be a clone of sameera and hated them .........till geet came

@oPTI: I agree bout sam n his mum being opposits... I had speculated that months back in my posts... I also agree on the ego bit...I too speculated the same.. Regarding marriage, i wish to disagree coz then he would have defo told geet bout his marriage don u think???

MSK not telling geet bout his marriage or aborted kid creates serious doubts on credibility of MSk's character..

i think sameera will come into play once GC returns to shoot........and maneet unite............and do not worry the creatives will not mess with MSK...ever......they will give a valid reason for his past and why he ahs not told anyhting to geet yet

Yash, he could haev always mistook his infactuation for Sameera as love couldn't he? If you have not felt the emotion, how would you know the difference? It is only after he fell for Geet he realised the true meaning of love. The strangeness in the emotion for Geet can still be valid even if he had had an intimate relationship with Sam.

Your take on Sam being Dadi's choice and Maan was stood up because she ran away with her lover is also plausible but I doubt he would have willingly accepted another man's child if that is the case because he had real hard trouble accepting Geet's pregnancy even when he was in love with her. So a similar situation with a woman he barely loves is not possible.
