Even today I am not in a big mood to analyse. Will try to jot down some points in general & mention whatever comes to my mind.
Nissar, Creative team, script writer & Geet team, another day, another episode, another job well done under the circumstances. GC is totally out as we all know & DD is not fully recovered & seeing the situation this is the best u could do! So bravo once again & hold the fort till everybody is fit & fine. Everyone in the team who ever is down, my prayers & good wishes for u all to recover fast & well.
The first scene gave us an indication of the storms going on in both Maan & Geet's mind. Both r in a dilemma in their own way. Maan for once didn't doubt Geet so far when he ought to be the one who should be angry. All along he was admonishing himself for not being compassionate enough to her to lend a co-operative ear when she came to confide in him the other day with that painful urgent look in her eyes. I am happy CV's u all realised what I tried to tell u that day when u all showed that. I was angry because u spoiled Maan & today we came to know from he himself that he was too blind in his happiness to notice her need to lighten her heart & soul. And he is questioning why did she leave, why didn't she trust him to tell everything, why didn't she believe in his love. This was positive reflection all along.
My only problem here was the clipping of HP days Maan which was an awesome touch & he was at his best with his animal magnetism, raw appeal, rustic nature & rugged outlook & his eyes had a fire all throughout to conquer the whole world, to dominate & rule over everyone & that is Maan to the core & we all love that man! But when u hear the voice-over on that furious face it was so timid, pale & passive in comparison! That is what didn't fit in the scene. I wish whoever did the voice over brought that energy, passion & fury in his voice to match the looks. Otherwise it was ok & it was a treat to watch HP Maan again, that guy always manage to open many hidden doors of my mind! 😃
With Geet I had a query but will let it go on basis of cinematic liberty! She left Khurana house in the same clothes she wore for the engagement & today she changed? When, where, how without a spare change or her bag? And change of clothes means a different day or maybe sometime later when she has cooled down a bit after mulling over her situation, right? I won't point out too much about her pondering because I know u have to pack her off for some days in the show & thus is bringing in on this twist but still I had preferred if u would have made a rational reasoning after she cooled down a bit. Geet's misconception about Maan all along thinking he misunderstood her believing NT & Dev who r wrong. She thought he left her because he was mad with her, he was cross about her not revealing the whole truth & here I just wondered Geet why don't u remember all the pledge he took in front of the world, all the promises he made to u alone, the oaths he took keeping the stars & the moon as the witnesses? Why did u forget all those wonderful little tidbits at this critical moment? One thing good is she decided to meet him at least once & finally tell him the whole story no matter what & for that I salute her. And I know once GC will be back it will happen like this when Geet will confront him & will pour her heart out once & for all. CV's u all had to take it this way I know but somehow this situation today was bothering me a little knowing Geet had sometime to cool off & ponder upon the situation whereas y'day she was simply vulnerable to be shown the door by dadi & NT after such a big showdown meeting Dev! Y'day she was justified but today it ought to have been more rational but seeing the dicey situation u all r in I will let it go.
Dadi has been brainwashed & manipulated by NT & she is thankful to NT for opening her eyes to the truth of Geet! If this is her getting awakened then she had better kept her eyes closed all along. 😕 Dadi is so easily maneuvered by NT & she believed her not only about Geet but also with her reasoning for leaving in the 1st place. And once again we hear reference of Sameera as Maan's past! Looks like she is going to make an entry as soon as Maan & Geet get back together. About this I have something to say later on!
NT is good! The way she was talking behind dadi with that conniving smile was awesome. other than Maan she has the entire Khurana family wrapped around her fingers. She knows the psyche of all of them & knows exactly how, when, where & why to turn a table to her advantage. Once Maan is back Dadi issue will be taken care of, either MSK will walk out with Geet tucked in his arm or he will send NT & Dev packing off to a jungle with a one way ticket. Obviously I will opt for the latter! 😆
Next segment was the highlight of the show. Confrontation of Dev, NT & Meera! NT is awesome I have to say, the way she brilliantly ignored Meera initially to royalty was mind blowing. Purposely she spoke to Dev with her saccharine sweetness to break his anger & initially he showed his manliness showing off he doesn't need her with him & he is happy with Meera's company who has helped him with what she should have done & NT almost shooed away his childish behaviour with a wave of her hand! She deliberately insulted Meera making her feel like an outsider & just pushed Dev around with her twisted logic. And what do u know Mr. Confused selfish soul like predicted lost his tongue & spine very quickly in front of NT & ditched Meera in span of a second. As I said y'day 'Poor Meera', she is simply not a match to NT from any angle. She felt rejected by Dev & left from there all dejected & NT once more won the round keeping Dev towed by her leash. Dev believed that both Dadi & Maan will die if they come to know about his past with Geet when Maan told him he doesn't care about their past but is looking forward to a lovely future, all that completely got erased from his mind? He really thought Maan is also a weakling like him?!! Really Dev u amaze me at times, actually as ur retribution u should be with NT all ur life & simply suffer & wimp under her domineering nature! Serves u right!
Now acting wise Karishma is more than brilliant with her expressions, dialog delivery, her vindictive smile & that overpowering body language. Every frame of hers reflects power & authority to run over with her schemes & she looks a polished vamp without the usual zoom in & background 'gong' music effect, her swaying her head with that sharp eyes & malicious smile does half the work for her. Really Karishma u r at par excellent!
And Perneet she too did well with her broken heart, dejected expression who saw the last straw slipping away from her fingers when Dev didn't even bother to look at her when she left saying good bye! Really knew about this outcome & yet felt bad for her for choosing to love a wrong guy!
But Abhinav, in comparison to Karishma u were absolutely a blank wall! Please if u want to be a reputed actor pls gear up on ur acting skills dude! U looked stony faced all throughout in front of Karishma! I couldn't see the anger u felt, the abhorrence for NT, ur helplessness for Meera & the situation in general, ur worries over dadi & Maan, ur resolution to stay quiet pondering over NT's logic..........nothing showed on ur expression! Pull up ur socks, its high time! Now is the golden opportunity for u to score big with GC not around & yet u r letting go of this opportunity? Buckle up before its too late!
I didn't get the meaning of Pinky, Adi & her dad's segment! The whole society is coming to know of Geet's secret slowly but how will it help her? Will Adi find Maan & tell him about this? And also find Geet at the same time as well & act as a medium to bring them together? And did Geet tell Pinky's dad about everything? I thought she just said she is pregnant, no? Maybe another cinematic liberty! And another person who I didn't find up to the mark in acting was Pinky! She is good as a chirpy girl but y'day & today when she had to portray a serious situation her voice sounded very shrill to me, she sounded scared more than worried to me!
And the last segment, 2 dejected female bonding over their heartbreaks! Perfect combination only some blue mood food had to be used which would have erased some of that pain & suffering. 😃 I liked this scene how both Geet & Meera were connecting with each other over the same issue but to two totally contrasting personalities, Maan & Dev!! North & South pole in their nature! I was happy to know Geet realised she ought to have told Maan the whole truth & shouldn't have left without confiding. There u go Geet! And I liked the way they went back & forth after that! Past is something that never leaves one's life according to Meera & to Geet past should be left behind to make a new future or else u will be left to mope around! Meera said u feel sorry for the defeat u face & Geet went on saying we feel sorry & Meera said when he trusts someone else over u, Geet says no matter what the world thinks u hope he will be next to u supporting u at all times & Meera continues, but when he only turns away from u, again Geet's continuation the heart of glass simply breaks!! I loved this entire segment, Barry Dhillon another superb job!! 👏
Only thing is Geet feels women lacks brains because we have a bigger heart to be such emotional fools! Well personally I don't agree to this because my head rules my heart in my life except in the fictional world of Maan! 😆 So Geet we women have equally big & sharp a brain in comparison to our hearts! 😃
I think Meera will very easily evade Geet's question tomorrow, just looking at her sad state she can say she guessed it or else why would she be sitting in a park bench all alone at night!! And I think Geet will take her shelter in Meera's house. Y'day to Doodle I said this scenario about how Meera will finally turn an aid to Geet & the CV's r paving that ground for future! Hopefully Meera will get over her love for Dev while helping Geet.
Ok now about Sameera & Maan's past!! I know maybe I am the only one here who feels like this but CV's hear me out what I have to say! As I keep harping on everyday without cessation about character consistency & on that ground only I have problems about Maan's past, Sameera!! CV's I think Sameera was a later addition in their story & u didn't think of it right from the beginning. Because only after we read the article on Sameera we heard the reference of her from Dadi in the outhouse before the Dargah episode & later from Maan after the dargah episode. Nothing was implied before this.
Now listen to me, all along u have shown Maan as a rustic, rugged, raw, arrogant, aggressive, ruthless & heartless fellow who never cared about any females or for that matter anybody. He is a very strong personality & if he gets ditched, dumped or duped by a girl do u think he would live a life being so secluded & despondent & desolate?? To me he would have been reserve but so much of bitterness doesn't justify his character. He is a very balanced personality & unlike Devdas he wouldn't go on ruining his life over a girl, that is not MSK to me!! He would have adopted the 'don't care' attitude & would have moved on in life like before. And it seems when he faced the heartbreak he was a grown up as per the picture in the attic, he was not even at a very vulnerable age! A personality like MSK doesn't give up living life like a normal guy over a girl, I can't see MSK like that.
On the other hand if u had shown he suffered something vital in regard to the opposite gender when he was a child I can accept that because children r very vulnerable & gets impacted severely at a tender age. I can see him getting bitter over his mom on something & thus becoming like this from his childhood & not when he is a grown man. An adult more or less gets over such pain much sooner specially if they have a strong personality like MSK. So this Sameera angle is not sitting with me well because I can't see MSK like this, his character is not fitting in that angle. And everytime he felt that pull for Geet in HP & later on in his office he kept on saying to himself 'yeh ladki mujhe pagal kar degi', 'main kyun uske liye soch raha hoon', 'uski aankhen mujhe kyun khinchti hai'...........these sentiments shows a guy is undergoing all these feelings for the 1st time in his life, if he had already been in love he wouldn't be asking himself these questions innumerable times! He would have connected & compared his emotions with his previous relationship! So think about it CV's! He is too overpowering, too commanding, too authoritative, too dominating, too controlling, too decisive, too forceful & too assertive to mope around over a mere girl, almost giving up on life! So pls CV's think 10000 times before u bring this Sameera angle in Maan's life, I can't & don't want to see Maan's character ruined or losing its consistency. That will be indeed very vexing!
Overall a nice episode & keep doing the good job under these trying times. My best wishes & support lies with the entire Geet team & once again wishing GC & DD a speedy recovery!
