Dear makers of the show,

I hope this post finds you well. We know Drashti and Gurmeet have been out sick, but I really do hope the rest of you are hale and hearty. I wanted to bring to your attention that we enjoy the show very much, but not at the cost of anyone's health. We all know and understand the effort that goes behind making the show. Everyone on the team is doing a tremendous job and you have gained much popularity and have been successful in maintaining the show on #1 position - heartiest congratulations! But what I think you fail to recognize is that hard work pays off when you get to enjoy and live life comfortably.

The team has been working extremely hard, around the clock, day after day to make the show what it is. I know the actors have a huge role to play in this, but it is your responsibility as well to make sure the actors are well rested. The main leads of your show are falling sick again and again. They get back to work without getting enough rest, not allowing their immune system to get back on track. And before you know, they are sick again. Well, it is because they are famous we get to know what happens to them. I'll be curious to know how the other people behind the scenes are doing. Do they fall sick as much?

Although most of us viewers enjoy Maan and Geet scenes the most, we would like for you to give us more scenes of other characters like Daadi, Dev, Myra, Adi, Pinky, Sasha and Tasha, so that your main leads get a breather. Gurmeet was first struck with malaria. He didn't get enough rest before he got back and it is my understanding that lack of proper recovery has caused more health issues. Even though your heart and mind is active and full of energy, your body begins to wear if you try to push it too hard. The actors will do what they are told and I believe what they do and how much they work, is entirely in your hands.

I hope you are getting the point I'm trying to make. And I truly hope you have learned the lesson and truly understand the meaning 'Once bitten twice shy'.

Yours truly,
~dolphin~

I agree with you wholeheartedly. It is something I said when the CVs delayed the Sameera entry track becoz fans were upset. And boy have I missed NT a lot becoz Karishma can act unlyk.... It Y I always appreciate the office staff even Tasha & Sasha. This show is about Maaneet and should remain about them, but there must be stronger 2ndary character tracks and development. Everyone from Daadi, Tasha-Sasha, to Adi & Pinky. So, the show is not wholly on GC & DD's shoulders alone.

That said, I also appreciate where some fans are coming from. They are much much too used to other Production Teams who are addicted to separation tracks, plot distruction, etc. They are psychologically scarred and panic especially given StarOne's history (AR break-up, Nupur's death, etc.). We the fans need to let the our past fears go and let this show GROW. And the CVs have to buck up and get to it after this phrase. Story can be maintained even if secondary characters are given screen time. Have FAITH

I agree with u but thats how telly life is, its common for all big telly stars, they dnt have any rest, because they r on shooting 24/7.
Every1 who gets into telly shows, as leading n main characters knows that.
Ive read before for some other big telly actors, that they only get to sleep 4 hours on a day, n no time for anything else.
Thats why it is called big n quick fame with big money but the circumstansec r not good
But still I think maneet should relax n have 100% bed rest, n only come bak when theyre 100% fresh, but plz cvs dnt change the storyline.
But to be honest I think the cvs should be 2 weeks forward, like every1 else, so we didn had this situation.

I agree with you Dolphin inf act CVs can utilize this time to get the other tracks started and then the show can take its own pace once Gurmeet and Drashti are perfectly fine and doing well I think it will be a very bad idea to get them back till they have recuperated completely.

Very well said, Dolphin. I hope the CVs get your message. And I hope our two lovely actors are given all the time they need to recover and have a good rest before they come back. Their health and well being is more important than their work.
Meanwhile, we can all spend this waiting time imagining that somewhere in Maneeetland M and G are similarly unwell and are bickering away, as always, on their way to recovery!
