Oh...soo many people think like that!! I dont agree with this POV...
I thought what she did was very selfless... it showed her concern for his happiness!!

cv's r forgetting d true reason why geet came a long way from hoshiarpur to delhi i mean its not that she n maan shuld not fall in love but then when she had d chance today to tell dev's name why was she quiet i mean she actually has forgotten the feminism that broght her to delhi to find out bout dev or atleast punish d culprit who made her life miserable ............ its really shocking

I disagree here...

Now here r my few reasons why Geet doesn't want to tell anything about that Dev to Maan.. 😳

First is she doesn't want Maan to get in any sort of trouble...she knows to what extent Maan can go for her..she doesn't want Maan to get obsessed in his revenge mission and forget smiling again...

Second is she wants Maan to stand in her support but when it comes to fight for justice she wants to do it on her own sinse Maan was nowhere connected to her past....and she learnt it from Maan only ,to always fight on her own rather than being the damsel in distress waiting for the knight in shining armour😆..

Third is she herself doesn't hv enough information about Dev right now(she doesn't even know whether Dev is his real name or not) and just telling Maan the name will not do any good as Maan will become more restless in finding out the culprit...

Fourth is they hv just started their relationship..but still a bit of awkwardness is there...both need to talk more in the coming episodes before Geet feels more free and confident to give away the culprit's name to Maan😳

So all these r the reasons why Geet decides not to tell him the name of the culprit😃

If some lies r told for the betterment of your loved ones,its not really considered a lie and tomorrow when Maan will find out the main culprit,he will understand why Geet never told him the name😳;Its not that Geet is hiding anything from Maan here..her past is out in front of Maan...Maan knows everything about Geet and also knows that there was a random guy who destroyed her life...so there is nothing hidden from Maan except the name and for that matter even Geet doesn't know anything about the real identity of Dev...so where is she hiding anything from Maan here ??..If Geet knew that Dev is Maan's brother,then we can say she is hiding this fact from Maan..but here neither Geet knows the real identiy of Dev nor Maan knows that the person is Dev..so both r equally unaware of this truth here..think from this angle and everything will fall in place...😳..So tomorrw if Geet tells some lie about the phone number to Maan,it will NOT create any misunderstanding between them because even Geet is not sure whether Dev really stays in Canada or not..so where is the question of hiding or lieing coming from ??😊...Its upto Maan now how he himself joins the dots and finds out the real culprit without letting Geet know about it😳;Its clear that Maan will never question her anything about her past now becasue all he wants is to see her happy😳..and so his next step is to shower her with love and fulfillment of her desires😳;But knowing MSK,I m sure secretly he will try to find out the culprit to give his lady-love the much awaited justice😊...

I think of it little different....I think she doesnt want to tell him and fight for it herself because thats what the show Geet stands for....An independent woman does....Geet stood against her family/people for her right and i think thats part of it...she can take care of herself without bothering and harming Maan.....I think her character is very brave and strong

thanks , Appreciate your detailed response and explanation. Think its awesome that so many of us enjoy this show so much and we take the time to discuss the plot and all its variations!!

Personally I don't watch Hindi or english soaps often and if I do every now and then, a show usually holds my interest for a few months and then somehow the story looses its grip or deviates too much from the essence of its characters. I love Geet because it has a great set of actors, and the story line is pretty interesting, one gives allowances for a lot of sequences, the coincidences etc. for after all its not a true reflection real life, its fantasy and entertainment!

I love the debate and being my first time on any forum, I'm finding this quite an enjoyable experience. Not meaning to be offensive or stepping on anyones toes, just my POV as a member of the audience.

I have put my responses in blue below yours and hope thats kewl:)) 😊

Don't you think Maan is shown as a pretty solid guy, and though he would go to the ends of the world for his love, he would be able to take care of himself without getting into trouble, so to speak? He would smile because he was getting her justice and also take care of her at the same time. Thats why we are all so taken in by his character, dark, handsome, arrogant, strong! Totally DREAMY!

That would be my ideal story line: Geet and Maan discover it is Dev together, when she tells him this is the number of the guy and that is all I have about him. They are now joined forever, past, present nd future is both theirs together. Maan lets her know with shock that this is his brother dev's number in canada. She is aghast at the knowledge and repeats Dev?? Dev Khurana? Then they both work together to get her justice. Maan already knew his brother was upto no good and one can blame Naintara but in the end, the despicable acts were performed by Dev himself rt? Maan does not have to take over and can definitely support her when she corners Dev herself!

The phone no. and full name should be enough incriminating evidence, in addition to the other names, Naintara, Pammi etc..

Don't understand the reason for this awkwardness: Maan has revealed his deepest feeling for her and she has revealed her darkest moments, her past. I feel they should be closer than ever ? Thats why these last couple of episodes with their behaving like strangers does'nt quite gel for me. They should be closer than ever and Geet should express her thoughts to him in some way, I feel😭 Maan is coming across as strong, loving but Geet is falling short I feel.

So all these r the reasons why Geet decides not to tell him the name of the culprit😃

anyways no hard feelings anyone, looking forward to tomorrows episode and see which way the story goes!

This is the BEST discussion I've seen so far! Hats off to both of you... 😊 CV's should honestly read this and take a few pointers. I honestly felt the same way.. I didn't know why Geet said "Ye meri ladai hai"
Why she wants to do this ALONE? When she LET Maan put the ring on her finger, and when she accepted him.
Why do I feel she keeps putting distance between her and Maan? Like today he had to stop her thrice! (Suno Geet...Suno tho..Sun..) 😕 Im like "Woman, listen to what he has to say! Whats the hurry?"

Each time Geet and Maan fight or quarrel, I feel Geet is totally at ease with him, but the recent episodes, AFTER the station scene, Each time Maan wants to talk, Geet keeps trying to put him off (After he helps her on the stool, she walked off!)

I have no clue what the C.V's are planning, whatever it is, I hope its in the best interest of the couple AND the storyline. If Geet gets ruined and goes down the drain...I am gonna be SO EFFIN DISSAPOINTED!.. So far this is the ONLY show that has retained its versatility..

and Yea..both of your points are truly commendable... 😊 Proud to have such Maaneetians in our forum! 👏
