Now here r my few reasons why Geet doesn't want to tell anything about that Dev to Maan.. 😳
- First is she doesn't want Maan to get in any sort of trouble...she knows to what extent Maan can go for her..she doesn't want Maan to get obsessed in his revenge mission and forget smiling again...
Don't you think Maan is shown as a pretty solid guy, and though he would go to the ends of the world for his love, he would be able to take care of himself without getting into trouble, so to speak? He would smile because he was getting her justice and also take care of her at the same time. Thats why we are all so taken in by his character, dark, handsome, arrogant, strong! Totally DREAMY!
Well, that is what you think but have we not seen how shattered he was when he came to know of Geet's pregnancy? He was hurting himself physically, mentally and emotionally. There he was under the impression she betrayed him and was angry. Now she knows the depth of his love for him. So if he cannot find the culprit he will hurt himself doubly because the anger will be turned inward. His inability to get her justice could wreck his life. Now you can always say why should she think that he would not be able to find him but think of it from her point of view. She is just eighteen, has limited experience with the world. She sees things from her eyes. She tried finding the culprit but couldn't. When she tried to find him, she was told that the information that she had was too sketchy and not enough to trace the guy. To her it is like looking for a needle in haystack. So she thought it would be difficult, maybe next to impossible, for Maan too. She underestimated his resources or capabilities but then she can only think from her own perspective, is it not? If Maan cannot find the guy, he would suffer for the rest of his life because he would get frustrated and obsessed with this 'mission'. Is that what she wants for her man? Definitely not. That is the prime reason she decides to keep quiet. For his sake and not hers.
- Second is she wants Maan to stand in her support but when it comes to fight for justice she wants to do it on her own sinse Maan was nowhere connected to her past....and she learnt it from Maan only ,to always fight on her own rather than being the damsel in distress waiting for the knight in shining armour😆..
That would be my ideal story line: Geet and Maan discover it is Dev together, when she tells him this is the number of the guy and that is all I have about him. They are now joined forever, past, present nd future is both theirs together. Maan lets her know with shock that this is his brother dev's number in canada. She is aghast at the knowledge and repeats Dev?? Dev Khurana? Then they both work together to get her justice. Maan already knew his brother was upto no good and one can blame Naintara but in the end, the despicable acts were performed by Dev himself rt? Maan does not have to take over and can definitely support her when she corners Dev herself!
Well, yesterday Maan realised that the number belonged to Dev. Why did he not straightaway ask her how his brother's Canada number came to be in her possession? Why did he adopt the convoluted path of just saying this code is from Canada? So you see Maan himself is not too straightforward. Moreover, Maan's grey cells also should be exercised, isn't it? Why should everything be spelt out for him? He already knows the culprit is supposedly from Canada and here he has a chit with a Canada number and that too that of his bro. He knows his bro is a crook. Can he not put two and two together? If not, at least can he not start to think something is amiss?
Third is she herself doesn't hv enough information about Dev right now(she doesn't even know whether Dev is his real name or not) and just telling Maan the name will not do any good as Maan will become more restless in finding out the culprit...
The phone no. and full name should be enough incriminating evidence, in addition to the other names, Naintara, Pammi etc..
She does not know Maan knows these names. So how can she presume that it would not be difficult for Maan to trace the culprits?
- Fourth is they hv just started their relationship..but still a bit of awkwardness is there...both need to talk more in the coming episodes before Geet feels more free and confident to give away the culprit's name to Maan😳
Don't understand the reason for this awkwardness: Maan has revealed his deepest feeling for her and she has revealed her darkest moments, her past. I feel they should be closer than ever ? Thats why these last couple of episodes with their behaving like strangers does'nt quite gel for me. They should be closer than ever and Geet should express her thoughts to him in some way, I feel😭 Maan is coming across as strong, loving but Geet is falling short I feel.
Yes, they have revealed their deepest feelings. That is why there is more awkwardness. It will take time for both of them to soak up everything and then the awakwarness will go. Is Maan really strong? I would like to see whether he reveals his own past without any prompt once they get together. He has still remained the enigma, hasn't he? So when he can keep things to himself why are we expecting Geet to reveal all? As to love, Geet's love is no less than Maan's. It is because she loves hims so that she was willing to subject herself to the pain of opening up her raw past, wounds of which have not completely not healed. Just think of it. The girl has never discussed her past with anyone, not even her best friend, Pinky but she let herself open up to the man she loved and literally ran behind him to make him hear the whole truth even when he did not want to. So let us not be biased here. If she had not run after him to reveal the truth, the guy would still be smarting in anger thinking she betrayed him.
