Hi girls.....sorry the post is really late today...but after watching the episode.....I was wondering if I should even open a post today!!

I am in confusion, disappointment, and just Blah mood. BLAH is the perfect word to describe today's episode. There are other posts on the forum asking the questions about why Maan is so angry with Geet.....what happened to the Manju Maan who was so FULL FALTOO in love with Geet...just the day before? Ok but enough about that. MY real disappointment with today's episode was the KISS. Can you believe finally a KISS between MANEET............and this is what we get. If you asked me before today, I would have said that any kiss between Maaneet will be the STUFF of DREAMS...............but CV's you really disappointed me today.

My DREAMS have turned to STAR DUST.... what remains is just air....no magic, no dust, or any stars!!!😭😭

KISS kiya bhi to aise.....totally MECHANICALLY? Where is the Maan who is so in love with Geet. What I don't understand is that given such an excellent opportunity, Maan CHANCE pe DANCE kyun nahi kia.....just like he did in the hook scene??

Where was the romance.....where were expressions, where eyelocks? I understood Geet apprehension, but I would have expected her to get lost in that KISS...had it had an eyelock!!!

So, who is to blame today.....

Script writers...
Director...
Actors...
or us VIEWERS, for having such HIGH expectations??

Nags - kya likhoo? I loved the first 15 mins of the cliched scenes ... because of the way Maan reacted to Geet. Geet was testing his patience by doing things that she knows would normally irritate him and make him shout at her.. She behaved like a perfectly teenage girl in the first throes of love. We need to remember what she knows of romance is from movies only..

So she tried typical 70s BW movie ishtyle ideas to guage his feelings towards her..

Next day - Raat gayi toh baat gayi ?? What happened to Maan ? Who is this clone in Maan's form ?? Why the perpetually angry young man look towards Geet?? Why ddnt he want to give her the ring ?? I understand that he would not want to burden her-- so he would not want to put it in front of all.. But I would have expected him not to ask himself - WHAT to do with the ring.. Should have given it to her and explained that Dadi wanted him to put the ring on her finger and ask her to wear it!! Simple - Business magnate-- please don LEAVE ur brains at home!!

Jaane kyu , jaane kyu, mujhe aisa laga ki Maan was not interested in Geet today?? The Munda who always looks for a chance to touch her does not want to touch her using his lips... I dont know how his dadi and staff bought his act!! WE could soooo see through it.. And he had no qualms about putting his arms around her ??? But he had an issue kisssing her!! My god - who is the shy character in this show - Maan ya Geet ??? 😕😕

He was doing the kiss to avoid eating the cake and putting the ring on her finger. Exactly why Dadi had to ask if there relationship is real (tomo. episode). Its just the first epi for the week. I'm sure it'll b okay...I HOPE.

Ayesha i respect your POV but dont you think tht kiss was mechanical as Nargis said 😕 it was more like touching her hand with his lips instead of a kiss. Besides he kissed her just so he could get rid off from eating the cake and putting the ring on her finger. Thts so not MAans character. I mean he kinda used her dont u think? then whats the difference b/w Maan and Dev??

Ayeshaa - Agree with u that the episode was not thaaaaaaaaat bad.. But we expected more of the Maaneet romance- thats all.. Its the 1st kiss they shared and it looked like both of them not even remotely affected... 😕😕😕.... Maybe I have become blind.. Will rewatch..

Like I said previously - I liked the way Geet behaved in the 1st 15 mins - perfectly the way a girl at 18 who is naive and inspiration is movies would behave!!

Either editing issues or some scene was cut off 😳😳

Agree with u Sana - the kiss did not end up the way we expected.. Hence the disappointment !!

The romance between the leads is one of the USPs of the show.. And the hugs were soooo passionate and the lip touch .... 🤢.
