I won’t lie, I actually want to watch this track if they go for it. However, tracks like these need to be well done with the right amount of drag, blow up and confrontation. The last time I saw a track like this and somewhat liked it was in Madhubala but that was super intense and they ruined it quickly. If Sachin is going to get insecure about Sailee’s income, then I don’t think it’s an unrealistic track, contrary to what many people may think. While Sachin has always been supportive of Sailee, he was also the main breadwinner of the family. Yes, Sailee has earned more than him in the past but during that time he was still providing for her. Most of the money she earned was either given to her mom or used on him. It never lasted long for it to turn into a big thing if I remember right. It’s also important to remember that Sachin had good work then. Now, not so much. He’s earning less, which leads to Sailee paying his EMI and bills. That would naturally make him insecure, and insecurity often leads to ego. Is it right? No. But is it realistic? Yes, I believe so.
Sachin has always been a man who didn’t like taking anyone’s money, including Sailee’s. She literally had to convince him to believe otherwise. Hence, it won’t be sprung out of nowhere if they do this track albeit properly. Otherwise, that scene in episode 582 would be ridiculous and stupid.
Also, I see it as karma. During early days of marriage, Sachin never forgot to make Sailee feel like a burden with his taunts. He made sure she knew when he was spending on her and that it was a waste of money. I remember it suffocating her because he would also publicly insult her with it. Ironically, Sailee isn’t even doing anything and Sachin feels what he made Sailee feel in the past.
