Maan switches off the phone and is still thinking on it.

They arrive at the courthouse. Just as they are pulling in , two cars come to a screeching halt in front of the steps.
Rasika Rathod steps out of one of them, all made up, with a couple of flunkies with her, while the other cars disgorged two lawyer types, all hurrying up to hover around her.
Maan switched off his car and got out , a half smirk playing about his lips. Without acknowledging the whole crowd in front, Maan just went ahead to open the passengerside door and put his hand out to help Geet step out.
Geet takes it and steps out to stand beside Maan.
Rasika Rathod on seeing Maan, had this big smile on her face, thinking to herself...Mr Maan Singh Khurana...aapnemujhe apneoffice se nikala tha na..woh bhi ek mamuli employee ke liye..ab dekho maine tumhe yahan kaise khich kar bulaya hain...aap kuch nahi kar paye...
Seeing Geet stepping out from the car makes her pause...ye stupid ladki yahan bhi?..
Two men who were waiting to the side came forward and shhok hands with Maan...

Turns towards Rasika Rathod who has now turned towards the steps and is about to go closer to climb them.

Maan gives her a pat on her hand and pushes her behind him...
Miss Rathod...it is in your interest to see these papers...before you go in....it is upto you.
Gestures to the men who had met with him and hands them the same papers they had just given him to give the same to her.
Rasika looks at the papers held out in front of her disdainfully, almost as if she would disregard them and walk away.
You better have your lawyers look at them before you take any step.
Maan takes out his glares from his pocket and coolly slips them on , takes Geet's arm and leading her to the car props both of them against it.
Seeing his nonchalance, Rasika gestures to her lawyers to take the papers and look at them...
They come forward and start perusing the same...Rasika starts tapping her foot impatiently...glaring away at Maan and Geet all the while.
Geet most anxious about the happenings looked from her towards Mann...Unable to see his expression behind his glares, she tugs at him and whispers...Suniye...
Maan turns towards her and smiles and slowly removes his glasses....Kahiye...both stare at each other , geet held helplessly in the warmth of his gaze, until a muffled shout from one of the lawyers breaks her thrall and she starts...
ye kya ho raha hain, she asks him..
Before he could answer, the lawyers go to Rasika and start showing her things from the papers...she is listening to them and then raises her head and swivels it in their direction and gives them a most baleful stare..they get her attention to some other things in them...
she finally snatches them in her hands, furiously crumpling them with an almost incoherent shriek of anger..
How dare you Maan singh Khurana....she began...almost spluttering in her anger...
Maan straightens and in an icy voice replies...How dare I?
You are the one who prodded me...I told you that I will not stand for anybody insulting Geet and would not work with you bacuse of that..but you would not let it go... you decided to provoke me and even now you were insulting her...What did you think?..that I would not retaliate?
You decided to drag me to Hoshiarpur, you thought that you would embroil me in legal troubles...then how could I not accomodate you for the same..?
If you do intend to continue working in this state, and you do not want me to bring these facts in these papers Ive had my lawyers prepare.... in front of the authorities...pauses here and says..
You better go in and take back your complaint.
Choking on her anger but unable to do anything about it as Maan had totally boxed her in with all that he had dug up on her Companies, Rasika looked at him in impotent anger and started shouting at her lawyers to go ahead and do the needful all the time shooting both of them poisonous looks. .
I will not forget all this...she began...
No you wont forget this in a hurry Miss Rathod...after all you havent come across someone like me before...Also..there is this other thing..you will have to sell me back all the development rights to this property here..Ive had my lawyers draw up the papers and dont worry, you are getting the current updated value for it...You will please sign that too before you go...
Looking at the papers Maan was holding out in front of her with an implacable smile, Rasika signed them with an impotent fury and stalked off to her car.
You better take the notarised paers back with you before you go, Maan called out to her receding back.
He handed the same over to his lawyers with instructions to register them and see that the complaint against him was dismissed.
As the lawyers left to do his bidding, Maan turned to Geet and seeing her standing there with an open mouth, he goes closer and with his finger under her chin, closes her mouth.
At that Geet , suddenly comes to and gives him a big hug while saying aapne to kamal hi kar diya,,,uski bolti hi bandh kar di...wahh..
suddenly realises what she is doing and brings her hands down and looks awkward...unable to stand his searching eyes..starts talking again....par aapne ye sab kab kia?..mera matlab hain..ye sab..lawyers, papers...haan un papers main kya tha ki woh aapki baat turunt maan gayi?
Maan was just about to say something when he is interrupted by his lawyers who have brought him the completed papers for the land in Hoshiarpur and also assure him that all of Rasika Rathod's complaints against him have been dismissed and that he is free to go.
At his nod they go to give a copy of the same to Rasika, who promptly drives out of there in a screeching cloud of dust,
Geet in the meanwhile decides to pray and thank Babaji for looking out for Maan and making everything all right.

Geet thinks to herself...Maan mere liye kitna sochte hain, mujhe aur takleef na ho, isiliye pehle to mere peeche yahan aa gaye, ye pura maamla sambhal liya,zameen wapas le li, aur mujhe yahan kuch na ho isi liye mujhe yahan se wapas le jaa rahe hain...
Geet apna seatbelt bandh lo...

As he turns to buckle in her seatbelt...Geet is studying his face, the strong jaw, the straight sharp nose, the thin perfectly shaped lips, the stubble on the sides of his lean cheeks, the long sooty eyelashes that fan over his cheeks , half screening his beautiful warm brown eyes that seem to look into her very soul...she is so lost in looking at him that it takes time for her to register those dreamy eyes now focussed totally on her face....
she starts feeling flushed in the warmth of his gaze, and tries to look away..he just half smiles ...
Geet exhales slowly, closing her eyes for a beat.
Chalein...Geet?
Geet opens her eyes....hmmmmm/
Chalein.... he repeats looking deep in her eyes..and Geet still lost in his eyes...murmurs...Haan Maan chalo ghar chalte hain....
Maan smiles, making Geet blink..mera matlab hain...
He puts the car in drive and is pulling out of the court yard onto the road...he passes a lady , who suddenly does a double take and stares after the car...
Geet...Geet...tum hi hona? ruko Geeet....
