I also want Dev to be punished for what he did legally. Somehow I think Maan will first find out about Geet's pregnancy and will be confused. I'm not saying that he'll think of Geet in the wrong way but the thought must cross his mind and he will be very confused as to how to react to the situation. He might avoid her, etc. And when Geet's pregnancy comes out in the public, she'll be scared. I think at that point, it will be up to Maan to believe her or not. I dunno if Geet would even consider providing Maan any explanations. Maan would be angry, knowing how quickly he usually gets angry. And although people would think that going to court or tackling this situation legally would not save Geet's honour, I think otherwise. Geet did not do anything wrong. She has no reason to sit at home and cry. She was wronged and the person that did this to her deserves to be punished. Dev should be convicted and so should Naintara and even his mother and the other girl because they were involved too. It would be kinda filmy if Maan is confused about what to do and then he gets a call from the guy he bought Geet's land from and then somehow finds missing pieces of a puzzle and puts them together to realize that Geet isn't lying. Imagine a court hearing going on and Maan coming in right before the judge declares his decision and then Maan provides the last supporting bit of evidence and saves Geet...How filmy...I think Dev's true punishment should be that he's left alone after all of this – Naintara will go crazy, and Dev will be left in jail without anybody – his Dadi disgusted by him and his brother hating him.

hey maithili🤗

ya...property dealers statement standing alone may nt be a strong proof...but he can definitely prove that dev did sell the land..ya i agree he cant prove hw that land came into devs hands...but we r looking 4 small small proofs which can be linked together to bring out the poora sach...thats hw it works rite???

Moreover CVs have projected a spiritual and unseen kind of bond between Geet & Maan. So certainly he is going to shield her. And judging it practically now it would be devastating for future of Geet and her child to go to court.

First it would taint her image forever.

Secondly she has no money and no support from her family. How would she pursue the case? ( Don't tell me she should go Ajnabee way...like Ayesha pursued the case only to lose it. )

Thirdly Maan can't help her as there are no evidence in this case. And I doubt she would accept his help as she is self-righteous and after knowing the truth she would feel awkward to do so.

Had she been successful in launching a police complaint just after the incident it would have been worthwhile. In such cases as time moves it gets more & more difficult to provide evidence in court.

yaar there is no question of taking u wrong...v r just discussing the possibilities here...and u r just giving ur opinions...and i perfectly understand wat u r trying to say...i realise that it is really difficult for geet to prove all this b4 law...but if at all she decides to do this, i am just trying to think of the possible evidences she can use...thats all...😊and am telling, my respect 4 the show will be raised tremendously if they decide to show geet fighting the case..because that wud be a really bold step...

@bold

exactly!!!u spoke my mind anamika!!

geet hasnt done anything wrong!so she has no reason to sit at home and cry...i knw its all easier said than done...it takes a lot of courage and strength for a girl to do all this..and am nt sure if i had been on geet's situation, i wud show that much courage or nt...but if geet decides to take this bold step, my respect for her as a woman will be multiplied by a huge measure...

well, was there something like the dowry papers???i mean dowry itself is a huge crime..giving or accepting dowry is in itself a punishable offence right??so i dont think geet's family might hav left anything to prove that they hav given any dowry...

and ya the land and jewellery...the land papers did hav geet's sign on it..it wud be hard to prove that she was tricked into signing it..and the jewellery, well that wud be hard to prove that they are hers...but nevertheless il list them too...

Yes it would be a bold step.... and our society has also not changed much... besides what is the point in fighting a case which she is surely going to lose.... If CVs attempt such a thing it would turn out like Jyoti, but she got tremendous support from her family.... but people also cursed her speeches on the forum.... and it's a patriarchal society, market forces drive TRPs; earlier people also made a hue & cry on the forum when CVs showed Brij trying to kill Geet..... There is a vague possibility that CVs would show Geet filing a case. Rather I am afraid they would show Maan marrying Geet and giving his name to the child.

i never watched jyoti so dont knw wat happend in it...

and about maan marrying geet and raising the child as his own...that is wat all of us want him to do..and am sure he will do that only...and i too want the child to be raised by maan..becos no child deserves to be raised by a cheater like dev...

even if the case is goin to be fought n dev is found to be guilty(which as u say, is very difficult) i still dont want dev to be even allowed anywhere near the child...maan shud raise him/her...and m sure he will do that only
