well the relation between maan and dev's mom is nt yet revealed..but we believe that she is not maan's mom, as she herself calls maan as "chotte saab"... so ppl here on the forum believe that she is maan's step mom...maybe she was his nanny or something like that who later got married to maans father after his real mother died or left...or something like that..

i doubt property dealers; statement wud be approved...because he is jst a middle man knwing jst abt d name dev n not hw cum dat land came into dev;s hands.....n if geet's family is to be questioned they willnt utter a single word abt d land n geet-dev marriage...

any of d reason will do bt i feel: (anythng can happen)

1)DNA test........baby is the proof

2)Dev might confess--this will do for MAAN

4)naintara bursting out--dis is d most likely thng to happen

5)channi's mom as witness--she wont witness bt i feel she will meet maan and tell him the truth

well..i dont feel geet's honour is actually at stake...i mean if maan n daadi will support her she really doesnt hav to worry about what others talk about her...and then if all the truth comes out clear, ppl will also understand what she has gone through i guess...or rather, hope.

but then as u said, it ultimately depends on what the cvs hav in store 4 us..

ya...maan's statement cant prove the marriage..but coming to think of it, his statement can prove one thing,...that dev was really in need of money...so he can point out the motive behind dev opting 4 such a crime...

NT is very clever. she won't give in so easily....and that to in court...i don't think so...when so many people change their statements in court every month do u really think this would click....

Guys don't take me wrong but there is virtually no proof of the marriage unless pammy and Dev's sis alongwith people from Handa family testify it. NT won't do it that's for sure because in that case she will also land up in jail. (I would love to imagine NT in jail in white saree & toiling hard).....

Moreover CVs have projected a spiritual and unseen kind of bond between Geet & Maan. So certainly he is going to shield her. And judging it practically now it would be devastating for future of Geet and her child to go to court.

First it would taint her image forever.

Secondly she has no money and no support from her family. How would she pursue the case? ( Don't tell me she should go Ajnabee way...like Ayesha pursued the case only to lose it. )

Thirdly Maan can't help her as there are no evidence in this case. And I doubt she would accept his help as she is self-righteous and after knowing the truth she would feel awkward to do so.

Had she been successful in launching a police complaint just after the incident it would have been worthwhile. In such cases as time moves it gets more & more difficult to provide evidence in court.
