Thanks Shivangi.Yes, this was one of the toughest updates for me. The fic is different from my previous ones in that it is a take off from the show. All my earlier fics had an independent start and so it was easy to build the story as the entire thing was my imagination whereas in this one, at least the past had to gel with what they had shown so far (or at least at the time I broke off from the main story). Since my take off point was the time Pari was introduced in the show, I went with 'Maan as a divorcee with an aborted child' theory because it was quite plausible at that juncture (with Dadima mentioning about some 'guna' committed by Sameera). But that alone would not explain his attitude towards women as he had repeatedly mentioned about women's weakness. So I had to bring in a traumatic childhood too which I did here, considering that he was reminiscing about his childhood.
