I know Innocent, but who knows what is in store for us! And would it not be better that people with regressive thinking rather take a back seat in determining the way the CVs go 😃

I am glad that you would want to see the 10%! More power to progressive viewers!

Brilliant! Brava!

I admire your honesty and courage in sharing your own life experience in this sphere.

I respect you for voicing your opinion and should this serial take the route of a live-in relationship, I know it would be inspired from real life stories such as yours. Women of substance who have the courage to defy the usual norms.

Congratulations on your success and good luck on your continued happiness!

Regards
Bri

That is really sweet of you to commend me on my actions, but I don't feel like I did anything courageous, although my sister does say so.

When you live with pain around you for the majority of your life, there comes a point when enough is enough and you can't take it anymore. We do live a modern society, women work and are no longer financially dependent on men to survive. What dreams you may have of a prince Charming coming to rescue you don't happen in real life and you are just left disappointed if you wait for him to show up. Women need to become their own prince Charmings and they need to make their own destinies.

If one is happy only then can one spread happiness into the world. The more happiness the less suffering. Plus life is too short to suffer through. After all Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness is my birth right. And regardless of my cultural background I decided to live my rights.

Women are so strong, we have so much courage and strength, I just hope that men realize that before they find out the hard way. 😆 Women too need to realize their strength. I am so upset at all the forum members who keep on talking about Geet's pregnancy and how her baby is a super-baby. Come on there are pregnant women in disaster zones, in war zones, in abusive relationships who withstand all hardships and still give birth in difficult situations.

Now I am just rambling on. I should stop.

Love all your posts.

Girl Power!!!!!

i dont mind geet and maan in a live in realationship and the thing is that the sociery and viewers need to accept this becausee, a lot changes... and i personally in real life would never want to be in a live in realationship before marrage because those are my values and things that my ansestors and paretns have taught mee... and sometimes in life you have to leave everyone and everything in order to be happy and i think thattss what geet is trying to doo... and if being happy is a live in realtionshipp... so be it!

maan and geet can live together and get married later, but there are some things which should only happen after marrage. hope u understnad whattt imm trying to say

U two have said it all..Am in for a live-in.. But i don think it is comming in geet.. The channel cannot lose trps, n a live-in will cause an uproar.. Geet feeling for maan has ppl shouting from roof tops...

I don't think there will be live-in relationship shown in Geet.....so people who are not for it can rest assured...
Personally, I think it is a bit unfair that we expect Geet to marry Maan after her drastic fake wedding. People who have gone through such experience will be definitely wary of marriage at least for a year or two no matter how much you love Mr. Right.....

@ -innocent- and swati; you guys are so right. Geet and Maan are in love and people are causing commotion and yelling from the roof tops. If they ever live together out of wedlock people will probably start jumping off the roofs.

Innocent I know what you are talking about, that thread about Geet becoming too westernized, what happened there, I tried to make a valid argument and thought that others too would state their ideas in a similar fashion, but people attacking each other and bringing religion into the mix. I decided to give up, it is a lost cause.

Swati, yup TRPs are too important. If the show goes our way it will have low TRPs and the show will go off air. And even though I want a more contemporary show, I am still a hopeless romantic and I love my Geet.

@ savitan; you are so right, how can people expect her to marry Maan after all she has gone through after her fake marriage (which she thought was a real marriage) If she marries Maan I want it to be her decision because she loves him, not because she feels compelled. After all a woman has the right to choose.

I dont know I have mixed views about live in relationships..Real life love stories arent as clear cut as onscreen love stories, and the real life guy isnt always a gentlement. Live in relationships might just expose girls to more abuse, rape, and make them vulnerable in other senses that they might not be able to come out of these relationships. Yes, people promote live in relationships, but, tell me something, how many men in India are willing to marry a girl who has been with someone else? So, how are girls going to move on if the relationship doesnt workout, and they want to marry someone else who they think are right for them. No matter how much the Indian society promotes modern thinking, the truth is there are not very many men who are willing to go for a girl who has had such relationship. So, where does that leave those girls, if the live in relationship turns sour? Other things, yes guys will promote these relationships, but, who is to tell that guys will not use such intitutions to satisfy their lust. These kinds of questions do bother me for sure when it comes to promoting live in relationships in India.

i didnt see the topic until yesterdai but unfortunateli it got closed.... i cnt believe topic maker said geet was losing its originality ..i mean the story is also abt an INTENSE LOVE STORY😆😆.... tm did get aggressive wiz their choice of words😆😆😆 ...... if its allowed in movies why cnt a serial adopt it tooo.... anywayz cvs wnt take zat risk... they will get married ..cuz we already saw how ppl have been ill treating geet cuz she wears indian clothes(u r in india wats wrong wiz zat😆😆)... hence her pregnancy will bring her more hassle which is why maan will marry her...

Polki, you are so right and I agree with your sentiments. Some lives prove the adage that life is not a bed of roses and the process of overcoming pain makes you stronger to face life head on and take any crises.

Women have proved to be so strong and they are the harbingers of change in society. You know during WW1 and WW2, it is German woman who kept the German industry growing and going while their men were fighting useless wars!

Love you for being you!

@ sweet chilly; I understand where you are coming from, fortunately I don't live in India and my situation was a lot different than what women may experience in India. However, I know plenty people in India who were having sex before getting married with people they were in love with. Some even married completely different people than then ones they were having sex with, and today they are happy with their spouses. And by people I mean my friends who are all girls. I guess as long as people don't live together society turns a blind eye. I don't think that is fair.
