it is hard but not impossible to love someone completely...and it was his own brother who has betrayed her..even responsibility wise she should be cared by the family in the least...

Yes Rush, in this day and age a man should be able to accept a man with another man's child....unconditional love and acceptance

And I agree that she should fight the Dev battle on her own...if you see the way this drama is developing....that seems to be how it is planned. As Maan is giving her the support from the sidelines...he is making her stronger...his love is making her stronger. It is she who is fighting her OWN Battles...be it her brother or tomorrow Dev/NT. So I think Maan will be like her pillar of strength that is invisible to the world... So tomorrow if she does battle it will be her knowing that she has Maan's love...he is her foundation, her grounding, her mentor, her invisible support system

i think every episode keeps getting better and better ever since maan's character was introduced and especially better when the boss-secretary track started. But yesterday's episode was the 1st disappointing episode in like 2 months! Today's was good and now it's getting better again, but they need to keep it original and go easy on the repetive scenes! They can give us maneet scenes but they also need to move the plot as well!
On the other hand, once maan finds out about dev-geet...not a lot of maneet scenes will be happening so we'll look back and enjoy the huge bank of moments we're getting now!!!

Oft repeated scenes of falling/catching, eye locks, dupatta scenes, Geet saying some not-so-nice dialogues against Maan when he is within hearing range.

Damn it man, they are killing the intensely beautiful love story and making it so contrived with their formula (successful formula).

They ought to realize that this show got here because of it's uniqueness and not because of the falling scenes, dupatta scenes or the eye locks alone.

We saw the characters flow from weakness to strength (GEET) and strength to vulnerability (MAAN) and it is this journey that keeps us hooked.

They have to think up new and novel angles to the story and some unusual scenes. Please stop the FORMULA that we see in every other serial. You are losing the freshness and the beauty of what makes MAANEET so sweet and charming.

This is wat exactly happened to DMG... They used to show so much of slow motion armaan dupatta scene I kind of got fed up....
But Maan ke saat abhi chalta hai...still boredom has not set in... Still enjoying ten scenes...
😉 😉 😉
Actually my day is not complete without some cute little scenes of them....

As far the story goes Maan is making Geet more and more stronger and eventually Geet is becoming stronger than ever day by day which is a great foundation for the times coming by. But that doesn't mean they'll show repetitive scenes to build up their chemistry.

The love story should move forward with building the faith between the two. Agreed now and then they are trying to show Maan questioning himself but then CVs are not continuing those questions where as it feels as if it went for a hiatus.

Maan is not an emotional fool that CVs have portrayed many times but whatz the point if Maan's actions are not in continuation. He is "The pillar of strength" for Geet and they also need to show that in Geet's activities. 'coz sometimes it shows and sometimes it goes for a toss. Whatz the point then?

I liked how they showed the increase of confidence in Geet after the saree fiasco and Geet has become more comfortable when interacting with Maan, that easiness between the two is clearly visible. I guess the faith had built. Its a good positive sign and I think we all like that.

So CVs listen up....don't spoil it because we all love Geet and Maan and definitely Geet ...hui sabse parayi.

Don't be so disheartened ..
Its just that from the Kurbaan Hua Dance sequence .... We've been getting ultimate episodes ..
So these 2 mediocre episodes seems boring compared to those dhamaka episodes ..
Plus the transition from an Angry Young Man .. to develop a soft corner for Geet was interesting.. but on the other hand... the phase where we know he has a soft corner for her.. but he himself does not know it.. it a bit boring... as we expect them to hurry up with his self realization.
I guess ... CV's will pick up soon. Lets just be patient. 😛

I so agree with your post! I'm so glad you wrote this! I think Geet has managed to strive away from the regular sopas and I also am not the biggest fan of serials just b/c it's the same formula used again and again w/new faces! I'm so glad when the new YRF shows come on and hopefully ppl will watch and find entertainment in new and original ideas! But I also think the writers understand how the audience works and sometimes I really doubt the audience's intelligent b/c they prefer watching illogical storylines over smartly written stories w/ witty lines and humrous dialouges! But the writers do whatever keeps the TRPs up! And at the end of the day if the love scenes are doing it then they continue on!
But more importantly, why I love this show is that Geet starts off as a shy, meek, submissive, obedient girl who after facing such harsh circumstances learns to stand up for herself...and we the audience discover that there was always something extra in her, but she wouldn't have discovered it if she didn't stand on her own 2 feet. That's why we get to see her cute, innocent and comic side b/c she is chirpy and bubbly and very mesmerizing. As for Maan, he's an angry man who probably faced a lot of hardships and is the way he is b/c he took up loads of responisibilites for his brothers and the family business at a young age. The guy matured very early and I agree the audience got to see him transform from a rough guy to a gentlier guy...and ppl like that exist! Both the leads are relatable and hence the show works!
Yes the cute moments seem a little too out there and illogical, but that's what WE all want! We want that idea of true romance, and soul mates, and finding MR. RIGHT! And we want our mr. right to be as caring, understanding, protective, and hot as Maan! And i think the writers of this show are keepng that in mind! And maybe they do need to tone it down with some scenes, but for now it's moving at a pace that's enjoyable! I don't think the show would have gottenas big as a fan base that it has w/out the writting, the amazing performances, and Maneet!
