I too was captivated by Nandita's beautiful avis and downloaded last episodes, not realizing that we are a week behind here, so no 'song' yet. As I watched with increasing curiousity, I noted the turn of my heart towards a new moon, its light penetrating through to the recesses of my dark box where I sit crawled up and keeping all cold in. We are one week behind here too...so no song sequence here yet...but I watched it was youtube out of curiosity... this song reminded me on MN salsa performance in each and every frame... yup, Endemol is the first thing I noticed...but my curiosity is taken over my fear to watch the show.. so I'm gonna give it a try... this time I'm not going to get attached with the characters... rather going to watch it safely keeping no involvement what so ever... that way I will keep my heart safe... not to get hurt by another round of ruthless creativity....

This has long been my dilemma, how do I support those who gave me so much happiness, whilst protecting myself from those who have no concern for my heart, who only look to their pockets! How do I support Priya, Gautam, Rati, Arjun, Mohit and Sanaya without benefiting those that have bled my heart dry.

I cannot stand hypocrisy, biasness and injustice.. be it creatives, channel, production house, actors or even fans... I have never cursed anyone in my life... but MJHT creatives earned my curses... and I'll never forgive them for killing a beautiful love story. As for supporting others, I really do not care... they are professionals... and they do not need my support...

I have ended my subscription to star one and star plus. I have called in locksmiths to place my heart under new lock and keys, from all Indian Serial Dramas. By their nature, that need to live on forever, they inevitably will reach boiling point! Look throughout the forum, all long standing dramas in dire straits.
LOL... what's happening to all shows? Creatives killing lead roles to gain TRPs... to show leap and what not... that's just plain stupid...in my opinion...

All the fans ever ask for is justice. A just end for those that their hearts have endeared towards.

Jess, for me, never again. I will not trust my heart to another. So for now, to honour my love, I stay on with MJHT, until the end. Not watching (only last week, I had to, to verify that whole Majan issue, for my part, I don't think they are going that way, but who knows this is Endemol)
but waiting, for all is NOT lost, until we turned to dust. That flickering and faint light that even in the pit of darkness casts shades where we may find relief.
I haven't watched a single episode of MJHT since Nupur's exit... I watched majan part on YT just to see where they are going with this... For me, Mayank and Nupur are living happily in USA... somewhere near my city...LOL... Mayank is doing MBA and Nupur is doing her Masters in performing arts... LOL... my version of MN story...

As for Geet, I am enjoying,... I can see that....😆

Maan the character, more and more inclined to place him in the first category.

So far, I have still placed him in Darcy's category and Mayank's category. First thing I found common between Maan, Mayank and Darcy... All three hate lies.. never tell lies and cannot stand other's lies. They always seek the truth. Also, all three never tolerate injustice to anyone. And thirdly, even though all three men are rude towards woman in general, they still possess lot of respect for women... especially towards the women who challenge them.

Raju the melodic and inspired composer
Both Gurmeet and Drashti are doing justice to their characters... their expressions, acting seems perfect...
That is why this post, I just can't help seeking beauty, loving it and talking incessantly over it in hope that beauty will cover beauty.
Great post Sabah... I won't be as active in this forum as I used to be in MJHT... but your posts will always tempt me to write my thoughts...

Firstly let me commend you on the wonderful post and a warm welcome to our magical world of Maan and Geet.

Now for the one million rupee question, where should you place Maan?

Not a big fan of Mr. Darcy (but yes a big fan of Colin Firth). Categorizing has never interested me. I always felt that when you categorize, you are imposing limits - be it people, characters or situations.

The character of Maan has always intrigued me. He first came across as an angry young man. And he has big issues related to women…. and he does have a problem with inefficiency. So I guess he does fall into all the 3 categories of men you have described. To quote Shrek - Maan is like an onion. With every layer you peel off him, you realize a new dimension to his character. I am hoping that by the time we reach the root of the character, we will love him as much as we do today - for he is a figment of somebody's imagination.

To answer your question - I would like to keep all options open and maybe one day I would like to say he is the ultimate man - my kind of man for I am very partial to him.

Everybody tends to have their own faults. Even fictional characters. Its when the good actions tend to overshadow their faults do these people tug on your heartstrings. I hope Maan remains so for days to come…..

So where is Maan today? I 'fear' that he is still balancing upon that edge. A type of balance that deserves respect and not the type that invites an urge to push him off one edge.

i would rather want u to go on & on cz it reminds me of all the classics that i read & loved but which failed to teach me the wisdom of words 😭 the blame lies with me only.but seeing u with a vast variety of beautiful words thats r sewn togather to create a whole new level of writing,m really impressed & was provoked to tell u,all that u already knew abt urself,that u hav a GREAT command on this particular lang.
so believe me,i truly found ur style commendable& hence told u,but u surprised me by being one of those who know they r extremely praiseworthy,but dont accept praise because of their humbleness & down to earth nature(& thats where the standard story starts lol 😆 ,u know i had to read it again & again to decipher the real meaning! i thot u really were calling me a low standard idiot,wich i assure u m not,or that is wat i think lol dunno wat other ppl think though!)
anyways as far as the friendship goes....since i like to take up challenges...m gonna take u up as my Friend wether u like it or not 😆 something abt u& ur writing(apart from it being the best work i have read in ages so far) intrigues me & i think it'll be great to tok to someone,whose style is just like those remarkable authors i loved & admired to the max & still do!!
