I m back with yesterday's episode review😳...After a magical Maneet filled episode on Wednesday,I had really high expectations from Thursday's episode because afterall yeh dil maange more na😉😆😛...so the question is was it upto the expectations ??🤔...
I will say a big "YES"😃...What I liked about thursday's episode was the unpredicatble nature of the story👏...Daily soap world today is filled with all sort of cliched and predictable storylines..Viewers r so used to watch cleeshade stuffs that sometimes its difficult for us to adjust something which was not at all expected...and thats where this serial Geet shines😳...Most of us including me predicted that Geet will run away with Maan to Delhi as in any soap whenever the girl is in trouble the only option left for her is to run away with the hero and then start their romantic tale😆😳..But this is where this serial and its creatives proved all of us wrong as Geet is just not a fairy tale love story but its the story of a Girl who shows courage and stands against her own family with an aim to stop these evil-practices which r still prevalent in our society👏👏👏..Thats where Geet is different..its not those Predictable love stories ...its a story with a very strong and hard-hitting social message...its actually depicting woman power with lots of positivity👏👏..and thats where I will say after a romantic wednesday episode,the hard-hitting and practical thursday's episode fulfilled my expectations👍🏼...
Maan-Geet Chemistry:When I use the word chemistry..it does not necessarily mean that I m talking about their hugs or eye-locking sessions😆...chemistry can b depicted even in their normal interactions😳;Yesterday's episode proved that Maneet chemistry is just not limited to those soft touches or hugs that they share but its much more than that😳;I loved the way Maan gave those practical advices to Geet and almost instigated her to stand up for the right cause and fight for her self-respect even if it means going against her own family👏👏;Truth is always bitter and Maan yesterday told her the bitter truth that she should not count on her family anymore who r nothing but big bunch of cowards and don't really hv the guts to even protect the daughter of their house👏👏;Indirectly if we analyse the whole journey of Maneet till now,then we hv seen that Maan has been an inspiration for Geet throughout her journey and Maan's words hv made a huge impact on Geet's life because of which she has actually gathered the courage to stand up against people like Brij or Darji😳;Maan directly or indirectly have always motivated Geet into doing something out of the box which normally a girl from a typical conservative family cannot even dream of doing it in real world👏;And thats where Maan and Geet chemistry rocks because it is just not limited to passion or romance ...its more about respect,understanding and humanity👏⭐️...I loved the way Gurmeet enacted the whole scene here...he never showed any sort of attitude in his body language here but was talking in a very normal tone because the situation here demanded his character to show real concerns for the character of Geet😳;Also Drashti was wonderful with her facial expressions..she had to depict confusion,fear,pain,anger and courage all at the same time and she did it flawlessly with her expressions and body language👏👏😳;Last but not the least Gurmeet was looking absolutely like an eye-candy even with blood all over his body😳..it made him look hotter I guess😛😆😉...
Finally a Father's Outburst:I was expecting Mahinder to show some sort of outburst yesterday and thank God the creatives finally showed it👏😃;It was high time at least someone in the family should go all out to oppose the brutal murders happening regularly in the name of so called honour and izzat😡;What sort of custom is this.. where a girl of the family is brutally murdered for a crime which is in fact commited by her family members ??😡Why is Darji not killing himself for going ahead with Dev's proposal of getting Geet married in 3 days ??😡Why Brij is not killing himself for not able to recognise the real intentions of Dev and his family ??😡Why always its the girl who had to pay the price for family's fault ??😡;It would hv been nice if Mahinder had sprinkled all the kerosene on Brij's body and then burnt him alive in front of the entire society😡;I was actualy expecting Mahinder to straightaway go to the police station and lodge a complaint against both Darji and Brij for doing this brutal crime😡..But I guess Mahinder is not that strong to go and fight against his own family..so for him the safest bet was to burn his entire house..Anyways good at least a father's outburst was shown at last👏..but what about the other family members who were asking questions to Mahinder like "Hv u gone mad ??"😕..What sort of question is this ??😡..Its obvious that a father will go mad if he hears that his daughter is brutally murdered by his own brother in the jungle and he can't even get his daughter's body to do the last rites😭;The father did a wonderful job in showing his ultimate outburst for his daughter's death👏...
Geet's Bold decision to confront his family:She is doing what Maan actually asked her to do..that is confront her family and fight against them openly rather than running away in fear👏;Geet very well knows that there is no use of going to the police station with that sword because most probably even the policemen will b working like robots under the influence of these so called Handa-family law-makers😡;Why Brij was never arrested or no one lodged a complaint against Brij after Channi's death ??Why the police never investigated the matter of Channi's sudden disappearing act ??;So Geet knew that taking police's help might prove more fatal for her and so its better to expose these killers in front of the entire public and make them weak so that they don't even dare to kill her or her baby as everything will now come under the public eyes😃👏;I must say a wonderful strategy by Geet as she just cannot keep running everywhere for whole life na;Even if she runs away to Delhi...Brij might reach there with his men to kill her;Its not necessary that Maan will always come there to save her unless she herself stands tall against the injustice done to her;So the best way was to confront her family in front of the society..humiliate them in every way possible..show the woman power to Darji and that murderer Brij..and then decide her next goal or destiny in life👏😳...Once again Drashti was superb in the scene where she was walking on the road looking devastated but still she knew exactly what to do👏..she now has a motto in her life..and that is to stand on her own feet and show the woman power to the world so that people like Brij are not able to supress women anymore under their arms...
Maneet:Eternal Lovers in the making and Taveez is the proof:Their paths mayb in the opposite direction but still that one Taveez will always join their paths😳;That Taveez is a symbol of divine and eternal love which will soon bind both Maan and Geet in one pure eternal bond forever😳;That Taveez is an indication that God has already made their Jodi...they r destined to unite and noone can change whats already written by the Almighty...
My Rating:9/10...I m loving the fact that this show is maintaining a very good balance between romance and highlighting social issues in a very strong manner👏..many shows start with a social issue but then get converted to typical saas-bahu saga or a candy floss love story..but Geet is sticking to its roots..its maintaining a very good pace and good balance between fiction and reality👏👏...So for me Thursday's episode was completely unpredictable and the reason why I enjoyed it😳..
