Actually this family is one of its kind where a daughter's birth is considered as a curse for the family..so they hv no feelings or love for a daughter or granddaughter..they just wait for the daughters to grow up and then tie them up to any guy as soon as possible...Geet's dad was the only exception in this family while the women of the family hv become more like robots...so they don't react much...and these families r so powerfull that they can even manipulate the law with their money power
