CVs-Maaneet scenes for the future: UPDATED pg.31 - Page 6

Another scene:

Geet at Maan's Delhi House. Both still unmarried.

Maan is coming out of his room heading off to work. Suddenly he hears screaming from Geet's room. He rushes towards her room and Geet seeing him in fear goes and holds onto him.

Maan looks at Geet all concerned but still with a firm voice-"Kya hua"

Geet-"Woh woh" Saying this, Geet points to the wall. Maan looks at the wall and sees a big lizard (chhipkili), and gets irritated-"Tum ladkiyoon ko toh bas chillaana aata hai". 😆

Dadi comes and asks-"Geet puttar kya hua. Tu theek toh hai na" And Dadi's eyes get widened seeing Geet holding onto Maan's arm.😆

Geet and Maan realize, and Geet moves away while Maan with attitude straightens his shirt. He's also embarrassed to look at his Dadi.

Geet speaks up-"Woh Dadima, woh chhipkili dekh kar darr.."

Maan underneath his breath mutters "Chhipkili se darrti hai, aur khud chhipkili ki tarah mujhse lipatti hai"😆🤣

Dadi who's heard his muttering says-"Maan beta tune kuch kaha?"

Maan just sarcastically remarks-"Daadi, inn ladkiyoon ko har cheez se darr lagta hai. Pata nahin saari zindagi darr darr kaise guzaarti hain"

Geet shoots a deadly glare at him, but she knows it's best to stay quiet in front of Dadi. 😆

Saying this, Maan leaves because he can not face his Dadi's penetrating looks. In his car, he gets irritated at Geet "Ab pata nahin Dadi kya soch rahin hain. Sab uss bewakoof ladki ke wajah se" 😆

Another scene:

Geet and Maan still unmarried.

It's some significant Khurana occasion, and Dadi is going to the temple with Geet. Dadi sees that Maan still hasn't left for work yet, and she tells him to come along.

Dadi-"Maan beta, tu bhi chal"

Maan trying to avoid, tries to make excuses-"Dadi, mujhe aaj office mein kaafi kaam hai"

Dadi not buying his excuses-"Maan, main tujhse puchh nahin rahi. Yeh mera order hai. Aaj Munshi ji kaam dekh leinge. Kitne dinon se bhagwan ke darshan bhi nahin kiye tune. Ab chal. Nakhre mat dikha. Nakhre dikhana ladkiyoon ka kaam hota hai"

Saying this, Dadi smiles at Geet-"Kyun Geet sahi kaha na?"

Geet smiles back at Dadi and decides this is the best time for a comeback-"So toh hai Dadimaa. Par ab zamaana hi badal gaya hai. Aaj kal ke ladkon mein woh baat kahan. Unhein apne gusse aur naz-nakhron se phursat hi nahin milti"

Geet shoots a smirk in Maan's direction as she knows he can't really argue in front of Dadi.

Maan is fuming at Geet for making fun of him. Maan super irritated-"Kuch logon ko bas baatein banana hi aata hai"

Dadi chiding him-"Arrey ab ja gaddi nikal. Geet Puttar puja ka samaan le liya"

Geet being sweet and demure-"Ji Dadimaa"

Maan takes out his car. (It can't be a jeep this time as there's more than two ppl). Dadimaa sits in the back and Geet is about to follow her when Maan interrupts.

Maan with attitude-"Suno, main koi tumhara driver nahin jo tum peechhe beith rahi ho. Jao aage beitho" [In reality he prolly wanted to have Geet sit next to him. But of course being the kharoos he is, he can't say it properly!]

Dadi-"Arrey Maan, tu itna chhidta kyun hai. Kya hua agar Geet mere saath beithi toh. Chal aa jaa Geet"

Geet ends up sitting next to Dadi. Maan is really angry and frustrated. While at a red light he checks his rear-view mirror and sees Geet's sweet smile. He doesn't realize that the lights have changed. Suddenly he hears cars honking at him, and he comes back to reality and starts driving.

Dadi-"Maan tera dhyaan aaj kal kahan rehta hai. Tune dekha nahin light badal gayi thi"

Maan trying to find an excuse-"Ji Dadi main woh Chopra project plan ke baare mein sochne laga tha."

Dadi amicably-"Puttar, kitna kaam karta rehta hai tu. Thoda aaram bhi kiya kar"

The temple arrives, and Dadi and Geet come out while Maan goes to park the car.

At the temple Dadi does her puja. Geet is praying and has her head covered with her duppatta. Maan comes and prays as well. He unknowingly is standing right next to Geet. As both finish their prayers they raise their hands to ring the temple bells, and their hands touch. They turn around, and another eyelock between Maaneet!

The priest breaks Maaneet's eyelock-"Tum dono ki jodi sada bani rahe"

Geet and Maan both try to protest hearing this, but the priest has left. Dadi has seen and heard everything. Both Maaneet are embarrassed, and avoid looking at each other knowing that Dadi has seen them.

The ride back home was quieter with Dadi being the one starting conversations, and Maaneet would just politely reply to her questions. As soon as they entered, Geet with some pretext hurried to her room, while Maan pretended he received an important call, and went to lock himself in his study. Neither wanted to be under Dadi's scrutinizing eyes!

Geet in her room was reflecting on her whole life (Dev, Maan, the attempted murder on her), and Maan was frustrated in his study thinking why Geet always comes his mind.

Another scene: It's Holi.

Dadi is finishing her puja, and Geet is in the kitchen making dahi-bade (dahi-bhalle).

Chhotu and some other servants have bought for themselves special Holi laddoos (bhang waale laddoos).

Munshi ji comes and sees Geet. Geet says namaste to him, and he blesses her. Trying to help, he takes the special laddoos out in the dining area along with thandai (drinks).

Maan as usual comes in his kharoos mood. Munshi ji greets him, and offers him thandai and laddoos. Maan eats one of the laddoos and goes out in the lawn.

The servants are playing Holi outside. Geet comes with the dahi bhalle outside. Dadi accompanies her. They are laughing and talking about something. Munshi ji joins them.

Dadi tells Geet-"Geet zara dahi bhalle Maan ko bhi de dena. Ussay bade acche lagte hain"

Geet-"Ji Dadimaa"

Maan who was far away from them in another corner of the lawn, was getting the effects of bhang on him.

Geet-"Maan, yeh lijiye. Dahi-bhalle"

Maan who's not in control of himself grabs Geet's wrist. Geet is taken aback by Maan's behaviour. Maan has a tight grip on Geet which forces Geet to look directly at Maan.

Maan and Geet have an intense eyelock. Maan's eyes are full of intense love and passion. Geet seems to be getting lost in Maan's gaze. He seems to have a hypnotizing effect, while he himself is fully immersed in Geet.

As Maan's grip tightens, Geet feels discomfort.

Geet grimacing with pain-"Aah. Maan, dard ho raha. Haath chhoriye"

Maan defiantly-"Nahin"

Geet-"Maan, aapko yeh kya ho gaya hai. Mujhe chhoriye"

Maan-"Tumhara dard, par mere dard ka kya Geet? Raat din main" and then Maan holds his head, as the effects of bhang are making his head spin.

Maan falls down on his knees holding his head.

Geet gets worried and puts the dahi-bhalle on the ground and goes to Maan holding his arm-"Maan, Maan kya hua aapko"

Maan-"Aah mera sar. Sab kuch ghum raha hai"

Geet screaming for help-"Munshi ji, Chhotu jaldi aao"

Geet-"Maan uthiye. Main help karti hoon" Saying this, Geet helps Maan get up and places his arm over her shoulders to help him walk

Munshi ji and Chhotu come over and help take Maan to his room. Dadi is worried.

Dadi-"Geet kya hua Maan ko"

Geet worried-"Pata nahin Dadimaa. Achanak se sar pakad liye aur kehne lage ki sab kuch ghumta nazar aa raha hai"

Dadi-"Kaheen isne bhang toh nahin le li?"

Geet shocked-"Maine toh nahin dekha, par ho sakta hai galti se Maan ne le liya ho"

Later in the day, Geet in her room held her wrist trying to comprehend Maan's incomplete talks. She gave up thinking 'Main bhi kya baatein lekar beith gayi. Bhang mein kisi ko kuch hosh nahin rehta ki woh kya kar raha hai. Chalo Geet chhoro is baat ko'
