Continuation of the scene on pg 12 😉
This is the last paragraph from the previous update!
In Maan's cabin, Maan is sitting in his chair, flapping the papers in the file, then he slams them file on his desk in anger, Adi gets scared even Sasha is a little shocked. Maan stand up, looks at Geet and tells the others to leave, he needs to talk to Geet about something important. Sasha feeling a bit suspicious, says but MK we're all your trusted employees, you can say whatever you want in front of us. Maan feeling a little annoyed gives Sasha one look and she shuts up. She says alright and in anger and jealously, storms out. Adi follows behind her and only Geet and Maan are left. Geet is feeling concious whereas Maan is looking right at Geet angrily!
So now onto why Maan is angry!
Maan keeps looking at Geet with anger. For a minute his stance relaxes as he recognizes Geet is scared of him but then he returns to his attitude wala self, and gets angry more.
Maan: Yeh kya tamasha khara kiya hua hai tumne? Yeh office hai, ya koi relax karnay ke jagah nahi. Saray papers gira diye tumnay, ab yeh file puri ke puri ulti hai, koi bhi page sahi jagah par nahin.
Geet is startled as Maan is being his mean usual self. Straightening up, she confidently replies: Aap mujhe yeh sab kaise keh sakte hain? Jab mainay kuch galat nahi kiya toh phir aap mujhe kyun kasoorwaar thera rehey hain? Woh toh alarm ke wajah say, galti say files...
Maan: Bas. *by this point Maan is really irritated. He walks out from behind his desk and goes to where Geet is and stands in front of her.* Galti ho ya na ho, tumhein apni job par pura dehaan dena chahiye. Yeh office mera hai, yahan par sirf meri chalti hai, aur agar tumhein koi problem hai toh there's the door, your free to leave. Aur waise bhi, mein toh samjha tha kay ab tak to tum wapis amritsar chali gaye ho gee. Lekin jitni baar mujhe lagta hai kay main tumhein kabhi zindagi mein nahin dekhoon ga, zindagi phir say tumhein meray samnay la kar khara kar deti hai! *Maan pauses and thinks about what he said but forgets it and carries on* Waise bhi tumhara woh mawali bhai tumhein dhond raha ho ga, ye na ho woh yahan na aa jaaye aur hungama khara kar de, mujhe apnay office mein koi bhi tamasha pasand nahi aur tumharay family ko toh tumhari koi fikar he nah hai, tabhi toh tumhara woh gunda bhai tumhein...
But before Maan could say anything else to Geet, Geet steps closer to Maan, puts her finger on his lips and tells him to: Chup. Bas bohat ho gaya. Mein tang aa chuki hoon aap ke baatein sun kar. Jab bhi miltein hain mujhe kostay rehtay hain. Mein yahan par apni zindagi, apni shartoon par jeenay aaye hoon, mera koi nahi hai ab iss duniya mein aur rehi baat meray bhai ke toh woh ab jail mein hain. khush? Aap kp yehi lagta hai na kay larkiyan kamzoor hoti hain. Yeh hai meri kamzoori ka kaam.
Geet hadn't taken notice of the fact that whilst she was talking she didn't remove her finger from Maan's lips. He had been standing there, staring at Geet with utter disbelief. She quickly removed her hand. But Maan's eyes still piereced into hers and she couldnt help but stare back. She was admant that she wouldn't give him a chance to have a go at her again so she kept mirroring his gaze.
But something unexpected happened. Maan took another step closer to Geet, now their faces were just inches apart, their bodies closer than ever before. Electricity was flowing through both bodies. Geet had never felt like this before whilst Maan was near her. She felt protected but never...attracted. Another weird sensation shot through her. Was it butterflie? At once she also noticed his clear chisled features, those deep dark eyes and his strong stance. To Geet it was something entirely new, something she had not experienced before, never with anyone, not even Dev! 😉
Maan all that while kept thinking about How beautiful Geet was. Those alluring hazel eyes. That small dimple under her lip, which only appeared when she was angry. The little strands of hair at the side of her temples. Her feminine posture. Everything was so clearly defined. He had never felt this...this...
He softly said in his luscious voice: Tumhein itna confident dekh kar acha laga. Aur tum aaj...But before he could say anything else, he came back to his senses. And he took a step back. What was he about to do? Both were out of their trance like states and as well as being baffled look flustered too. Maan turned to the side and again continued, however he did not raise his voice, it still held an edge of softness: Tumhein woh file jo table par parhi hai, woh sort out karni hai aur us kay baad, tum Adi say help lay kar meri sari meetings fix karna, I want it done today. Ab tum ja sakti ho.
Both were awkard. Geet sliently said Yes Sir, to which Maan shot a look at Geet. He was surprised at hearing Geet call him sir. *flashback of Geet arguing with him because of the land*
Geet looks at Maan once, and sees that he is also looking at her. She quickly lowers her eyes as if to hide what her eyes were saying and carried out the door. Maan went and sat in his chair. This time he did not pick up a file. He was just staring into a blank space. Thinking about what had happened. He had not meant to be angry with Geet, it just happened, something was bugging him, it was so spontaneous and unpredictable of him. He shouldn't have been angry with Geet for such a small thing. And what did he feel while being so close to her. "Yeh larki bhi na" Maan thought but then the scene *flashbacked* in front of his eyes again. Now he was truly consumed deep in his thoughts about Geet...
Geet on the other hand had also been affected. She recalled Maan saying: "Lekin jitni baar mujhe lagta hai kay main tumhein kabhi zindagi mein nahin dekhoon ga, zindagi phir say tumhein meray samnay la kar khara kar deti hai!" She then recalls her moment with Maan in his cabin, him shouting at her but then that closeness, the current that was flowing through her at that time, & all her other moments with Maan. Geet is deep in thought about what is happening. His words had a profound affect on her. She was trying to make sense of eveything because everytime she thought she was alone in this world, it had been Maan who was always there to help to be her saviour. It was as if unknown forced were trying to bring the two closer. Geet is confused. She question herself on what she felt just moments before when Maan was so close. When Maan has caught her from falling. When Maan had saved her from her brother.
Before Geet could come to a conclusion about what it all meant. Pinky nay entry mar lee, along with Adi & Tasha. Pinks started asking Geet millions of questions all in one go, whilst her mouth was full of food 😆 Geet wants to avoid the subject as she herself hasnt figured out what's happening? But Adi comes to her rescue at the right time and says that Boss told me to help you with the scheduele so you know how to deal with it in the future. Geet nods her head still a bit dazed and tells Pinky that she'll talk to her at home and exits the scene.
Pinky stands with the chips in her hands, a mouth full of them and looks dismayed.
Lekin Geet, mujhe toh phir bhook bhi nahi laagay ge aur maza bhi nahi aaye ga! 😕😆
Finally finished hope you all like it! 😉😉😉 This wasnt my original idea, I had to change some bits because frankly I didnt know how the plot was going to go! 😆
