Nope I think the reason is...gangaa...

Sagar has already seen how crazy Gangaa becomes when it comes to love 😆 As of now, I'm sure Sagar has no idea about his or Gangaa's feelings. He is just scared that if Gangaa comes to know about him dating Jaanvi, she would just freak out and make it a national news 😆
Although, Sagar knows that Gangaa won't just let him get married to Jaanvi (remember how he freaks out Gangaa in temple?) I think that Sagar is scared that Gangaa would do something that will make him regret, considering that she is so impulsive.

It can't be illness reason cz that priest told ammaji and gangaa if a girl applies vermeilion of sagar's name then any problem that would be for sagar will come first to that girl and he will be illness free or problem free v can say so ilness can't be the reason I'm pretty sure...and i think that reason is his unsure feelings for gangaa

He is a young guy who wants to work in London and not be tied down.

If his girlfriend isn't demanding anything and is happy pretending they aren't anything serious he is probably living the dream of most young guys
