He looked over at Kanya, but she pointedly looked away. Kanya stalked off to take a shower. She glared as she walked off, thinking about Ranbir and how confusing he was being. But behind her, Ranbir smiled. Why? Because Kanya, in her anger had forgotten to take clothes into the bathroom with her...

Part 13: Love-Hate

As the cool water flowed down and touched Kanya's skin, it made her shiver, just like Ranbir's touch. She was so confused. Ranbir refused to recognize their relationship as husband and wife, yet, in the last couple days, the circumstances suggested otherwise. More troubled than she was when she came in, Kanya turned off the shower and stepped out. She wrapped a towel around herself and reached for the... oh no, she forgot her clothes.

K: (thinking) Oh god, ab kya karoon? Ranbir se puchhoon? Nahi! Main us stupid saand se koi madat nahi chahiye...

K: Ranbir?

R: Haan?

K: Mujhe zara kapde de doge please?

Outside the bathroom, Ranbir grinned.

R: Kyun? Main tumhara naukar hoon kya?

K: Please Ranbir, aise zid mat karo...

Ranbir was delighted. For the first time after a long time, Kanya sounded so helpless, calling him for help. He was going to have fun with this. After such a long time he was hearing her speak to him sweetly. He sauntered to a chair and flopped down casually.

R: Listen you 2 by 2. Main tumhara naukar nahi hoon aur mujhe tumhare liye kuch bhi karna zaroori nahi hai. Jo bhi kaam hai, tumhe khud karna padega.

Kanya bit back a retort and said, "Please Ranbir, samjha karo na. Main bahar kaise aaoon?"

R: Chal ke.

Kanya lost it. She angrily stomped out of the bathroom in the towel and walked up to a very surprised Ranbir.

K: Listen you saand! Tum zyaada bhaav mat kha! Yeh mat bhulo ki mere bina, tum abhi bhi us sunsaan raaste par bhatak rahe hote!

Ranbir stood up.

R: Hello? Shayad tum bhool rahi ho ki woh tum thi jo mere chune hue raaste par chalne se inkaar kiya! TUMHARI wajeh se hum wahaan pe phas gaye the! Aur uska baad bhi shayad main jaldi pahunchtha! Agar tumhe bachaane ke liye nahi rukna padtha toh!

K: Tumhe kisne kaha mujhe bachaane ko?! Main apne aap ko sambhal sakti!

R: Oh I'm sorry! Tum toh SuperKanya ho na?! Kisi ki madat ki zarurat nahi! Nahi party pe, nahi gunde se bachaane mein aur nahi khidke se chhadne ko! Toh abhi meri madat kyun chahiye kapde laane mein?!

K: At least main apne aap ko dhoka toh nahi deti hoon!

R: What does that mean?!

K: Tum banne rehna 'hate guru'! Kisi ki feelings ki qadar nahi hai tumhe, hai na?!

R: Shut up you chipkali! You don't know what you're talking about!

K: Hate guru hi banna tha toh mujhse pyaar karne ki natak kyun kiya?!

R: Woh natak nahi tha!

K: Liar!!!

Ranbir grabbed her around the waist and kissed her ferociously. Taken aback, Kanya lost all train of thought and obeyed her instinct. She slid her arms up his chest and around his neck. Ranbir's other hand found it's way around her waist as well. They kissed passionately. Ranbir was slowly backing her up against the wall. As she hit the back of the wall, they broke apart.

K: I hate you!!!

R: I hate you more!!!

He dove back to her lips, hungrily exploring her mouth. She closed her eyes, enjoying the 'hate' that they shared. As Ranbir's lips traveled from her lips to her neck, the towel slid down and hit the floor.
