Part 15

Recap-Kanya and Archie are saved by Ranbir. Archie and Kanya challenge each other for the affection of Ranbir and who can win him.

It is nightfall all the family are near the fire and totally enjoying the nightlife. Everything is so romantic. Kanya and Archie don't leave sight of Ranbir. Both are eying him as if he were their prey and they the huntresses of the night. Arcie totally egging Kanya on. Chunnu just couldn't believe these two women were going gaga over a guy who didn't seem to be tothered by either of them but if he were to get involved tab aur bhi maza hayega. Ira had brought her portable cassette and played music. Romantic ballads mainly for the couples.

C-Par mujhe bhi tumhari Archie chahiye. Dono ke saath maza hi kuch aur hain.

Kanya looks at Ranbir. Very hurt by his comments about Archie. How could he like that vile woman who saw Ranbir as a challenge. He wanted Archie she knew because Chunnu was winding him up. She saw his love for her by the way he clenced his fists so tight. Ranbir could barely control his rage. It was getting too much. The first thing he did was walk away looking at Kanya. She saw the hurt in his eyes.

R-Jao tumhara dost tumhe nachne keliye bhularahi hain.

K-Hum dono ek saath nachenge na?

R-No mujhe Archie ke saath rehna hain. See u later. Ghar mein.

A-Ghar nahin jayenge Ranbir yaha rahenge. Ok. Ek saath. Ao mere saath nacho na.

Ranbir and Archie start dancing very romantically. The youngsters were a little surprised. Kanya was the hurt one now. What the hell was she to do to make Ranbir see that she loved him. Chunnu came to her and they started dancing. Ranbir looked her way once and then shut his eyes. He couldn't stand Chunnu's hand all over Kanya and grabbed Archie a little tight and eased his grip as soon as he realised what he was doing. Kanya thought he closed his eyes to just block everything but then saw that Ranbir opened his eyes for a brief moment. Chunnu had turned Kanya around and then was leaning in for what looked like a kiss. Kanya saw this and remembered the bet and gave the loudest slap right across Chunnu's cheek. Shlok and Arth rushed to Kanya and Ranbir just burst out laughing. Looks like Kanya didn't like the idea of Chunnu kissing her. Good at least he got what was coming to him.

A-Ranbir tumhe jana chahiye. Contract marriage hi sahi but woh biwi hain tumhari. Jao uske paas.

Back at the party Chunnu goes after Kanya. To see what all that was about. He wasn't going to kiss her. She got the wrong impression of him. His best friend and he couldn't even play a practical joke without hurting her. He just wanted Ranbir to take action.

Kanya started crying uncontrollably. Chunnu comforted Kanya and just let her cry for a few minutes.
