Ridhima Pandit approached to play a pivotal role in Naagin 7

Television’s most popular supernatural saga Naagin is all set to return with its seventh season, and fans are buzzing with excitement over who will lead the next instalment. Produced by Ektaa Kapoor under her Balaji Telefilms banner, Naagin 7 promises mystery, power and drama as the franchise continues its legacy of shape shifting serpents and larger than life conflicts.

Well, according to our well placed sources, actress Riddhima Pandit has been approached for a pivotal role in Naagin 7. Our sources say that discussions have taken place and that her name has been linked to the show for some time. ‘Ridhima has been approached for an important role in the show. Things are still naescent, let’s see what happens,’ says our source. Meanwhile Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is widely reported to be in line for the lead role of the Naagin.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary rose to prominence with her performances in Udaariyaan and later her stint on Bigg Boss 16. Her name has been connected with Naagin 7 in several media reports. While official confirmation remains pending, she is believed to be the central Naagin character around whom the storyline will revolve.

In addition to the lead role, reports suggest that Namik Paul is being considered for the male lead opposite the Naagin. He is seen as a strong contender according to sources, especially now that his previous show Kumkum Bhagya has concluded.
