Part III:

Sarika was invited to her close friend Manvi's birthday party. She had to go & knew Manvi had called Vinod & Roma as well. She went to the Yoga classes of Prashant. He was surprised to see her & greeted her, asked her if she wanted to join the classes as well. Sarika told him, she could learn Yoga from other reputed classes as well, if she wanted. Sarika couldn't help to be rude to him; it was there in her from 2yrs. She would always feel inside why she can't just ignore n not say something rude. May be after Vinod, she didn't trust anyone so soon. Prashant never minded her behaviour, he just ignored it.

Prahsant: Yes, I know there r many other Yoga Guru's. So how can I help u?

Sarika: Help n u, I don't need…

Prashant was not able to figure it out why she came. He just offered her water, n continued reading his book. Sarika very uncomfortably started talking…

Sarika: ..See…let me now tell u…

Prashant : Yes, am eager to hear as well…

Sarika: U know I broke off with my boyfriend Vinod.

Prashant: Is it! I never knew that. I only knew u had found ur life partner.

Sarika: Dad didn't tell u? Vinod cheated me, he married someone else.

Prashant: No ur Dad didn't tell me, but that's sad. Hope u will carry on with life…with much strength even without him (Sarika Interrupted)

Sarika: Don't start with ur Yogic lessons…

Prashant now was a bit irritated but he just tried to be calm.

Sarika: I want to teach that cheat Vinod a lesson. He feels pity for me, that's what he keeps telling my friends. I want to show him I have also carried on with life. I have completely forgotten him(getting very frustrated)

Prashant: So…..

Sarika: Can u act as my lover in front of him. He will be coming to a party thrown by my friends; I will just prove in front of him that my life is rocking even without him.

Prashant: Sorry, but I don't want to act….don't want to lie..

Sarika: Do this for ur friends daughter.

Prashant: U can find so many. How many better Yoga classes r there more than that u will find guys ready to act n lie for u.

Sarika realised her mistake but was pleased to see him answering back.

Sarika: Ok! That was my fault, it just happens with me. Now plzz agree just for one day.

Prashant: I am a very bad actor. Over to that I don't find it correct to do. So I can't do anything which is wrong for me.

Sarika: Whats wrong in that, he cheated me, can't I teach him a lesson?

Prashant: I would have answered ur Q, but it may sound to u as some Yogic lessons.

Sarika smiled, she was amazed by Prashant presence of mind.

Sarika: Plzz don't mind my words, sometimes I get ticked off just like that…Ok, I want to hear ur views.

Prashant: I don't want u to lie to him or anyone else. Why should u? If u still feel hurt by him, tell him. That won't make him great n u low. If u feel to prove a point that u can lead life without him, then act as u r not as u rnt. Make a promise to ur self. For urself respect don't make compromise. Tell the world what's true but don't be fake in front of people n to urself. If u want I will accompany u but as ur friend if u really consider me as a friend. Let people know u r fine without him but than let it be true as well. If it hurts say it hurts. If u feel a lot for him, speak up don't be ashamed of it. If someone needs to manipulate n lie it is for him to do as he cheated on u & not the other way round.

Sarika was in deep thought; as if all these thoughts had made her confused n how easily she came out of it. She felt each & every word of Prashant was genuine in nature n to the point.

Sarika: Ok Prashant , so as my dad's close friend , n my newly made friend I invite u to accompany me to my friends birthday party next Sunday. Come Home we will go together. & believe me I will not lie nor will I cheat myself.(She smiled with content)

Prashant: Sure I will come. To be honest I would love to meet this Vinod, Heard a lot about him.

Sarika: From whom did u hear abt Vinod?

Prashant: From ur Dad. I said he didn't talk abt u but ya he discussed abt Vinod. (Sarika was shocked…..but was happy that her dad still cares for her. She half heartedly smiled..)

Sarika: Prashant u …. a bit over smart….(smiled) just like my Dad… I know why he likes u :)

I am not defeated; I will make strength n willpower my tool,

And prove it to myself I need not fear as life is truly beautiful……..

Its Sunday Sarika is very nervous to go to the party. The party is at 8pm, its only afternoon now but she is very tensed. How would she feel looking at Vinod n Roma, coming together, hand in hand. She had tears thinking about them. She was not ready to take the thought that he will smile n wish. She felt she will not be able to face the friends who will keep talking abt them or compliment the newly wed couples. She feared she may not be able to control her emotions. She called up Prashant.

Sarika: Prashant I don't think I would handle it. I can't face him along with his wife.

Prashant: Ok. Don't go, sit n cry at home. Let the whole world enjoy but u remain like a victim inside. Let Vinod enjoy with family, friends & u make hell for urself n ur family. Becoz its u who doesn't want to get up n fight for ur sake. If u can't help urself nobody can help u. If u have done no wrong why fear. If u fear urself then I can understand but dont fear the society n friends, they know very little of u. don't let ur inner pain get over ur immense inner strength. Vinod may be so worried thinking how would he face u. u wont go he will be at ease…Very good Sarika…(he said with concern)

Sarika: No way, yes, let him face me, with his wife. Let me see what he tells abt me to his wife n how she reacts. I will go…So u be here on time or else….I will stick posters outside ur classes & tell everyone how punctual u r. ……(Prashant smiled)

Prashant: I will, don't worry. Ok bye. Meet u at 7pm.

Hi Jyothi..... u enjoyed reading it..kcuh kuch achaa to lagaaa na..the poetic liens r few..as when i started i got these sweet liens and wrote..was wondderfin likhu ya nahi..posted and sent to my friends..they told me..poems to likhna hi tum...bahot touch kar gayi liens..later i actually started to write poetry in stories.😆..
