Episode 10

As the guests were leaving, Atish and Masumi were also going back. Saachi wanted to go with them. Maa asked her to wait for more time and Jeet too in his silence told her which she could sense. Saachi was talking with Maa and Maa took her inside the house to show her the interiors. As Saachi was looking at the house, Jeet smilingly looked at her; Saachi would look at him in btw and sense him quietly gazing at her with those intense eyes. She would feel a little shy when she saw him looking at her with love through his eyes.

Saachi saw all the rooms and soon she looked at Jeet's room. She was quite excited to see his room. Saachi went inside for a sec and immediately was shocked and felt depressed in that little sec she came outside and they went into the drawing room.

Maa: Saachi, do keep visiting us, I will be very hapy to meet u. this Mumbai is new place for me, so am bored sitting at home.

Saachi: Sure Maa, I mean aunty I will come and soon meet u, will take u to nice places here. If aunty u want to go for shopping tell me for sure.

Maa: U can call me Maa there is no problem.

They hugged each other. Ashu fell on to the sofa and slept snoring loudly, Saachi laughed at the way Ashu like child slept on the sofa. Jeet went with Saachi to drop her at her house. Saachi sat with him in his car and was wondering something.

Jeet: Any problem Saachi?

Saachi: No Jeet, want to ask u something but, don't know if I should be.

Jeet: U need not think for a moment to ask anything. kuch bhi puchlo its absolutely fine.

Saachi: Jeet I went into ur room. Why have u coloured ur walls black, there was a depressed feeling in ur room, no way the sunrays could enter into ur room.

Jeet: I know,(he had a long silence) when I was 16 my dad died and just wanted to hide myself inside a place when not even a single light comes. I didn't want to let anyone see not even myself I wanted to hide my emotions. In my room when I knew there was no one around, I could for a moment pour out the emotions, black hides a lot of things.

Kala rang chupaata bahut kuch hai,

Kala rang sikhata bhi bahut kuch hai,

Dinbhar roshni bahut chubhti thi,

Raat ki khamoshi, dard ko bahar lekar ati thi,

Roshni ko apne pass tab nahi anedeta,

Apne Dard ko kisisey baant nahi paata…

Saachi: Jeet rang ko zindagi mey lana bahut jaroori hai. Kala rang chupata bahut kuch hai magar zindagi mey ujala ayega yeh ummed karane wale rang zindagi ko khubsurat bana sakte hain Jeet.

Jeet: Umeed? Umeed kisbaat ki , ujala? Ujala kaisa…? jis duniya ko maine dekha, jis duniya ke logose main mila….woh mere mey sirf kadwahat hi paida karte hain…

Saachi: Duniya wahi hai? Main tum ..mera matlab hai Aap, Ashu, Atish, kya hum is dunya ke nahi?

Jeet: 'Tum' kaho achaa lagta hai. J

Samay lagta hai, bahut samay… Mere kamrey mey merey Papa ki tasveer hai,

us tasveer mey main apni duniya dhundta hun. Jab main dukhi hota hun, unke kahe kitne lavz, batein, yaadein mujhe bahut hosla deti hain. Lekin jab main khush hota hun, mujhe aisi yaadein nahi hain jab maine kuch karke unhe dikhaya ho… Aaj woh khalipan hai.. aaj who khalipan hi mere kamrey ki deewarein batlati hain…

Paapa jab tak they, main moujmasti karta,

Sang office jata, wahan bhi khub haalaa machata,

Woh Mere Ankhon mey, Asuu na aney detey,

Ghar mey gam ki chayaa ko, na chaney detey,

Main jab jab umeed jhodta, woh mujhe thamtey,

Umeed pey ekdin khara utru, yeh tamanna rakhtey,

Unkey jeetey ji, main umeed pe khara na utra,

Phirbhi unhoney dil se lagakey rakha har baar,

Aaj Dil ke dard se ankhen namm ho kehti har baar..

Papa aa jaoona plzz bete ko garv se galey lagao abkibaar..

Saachi had tears in her eyes feeling his pain when he said those words. Jeet realized it when he looked at her.

Jeet: Apne assu poch lo… (taking hanky close to her eyes)

Saachi at the same time tried to hold the hanky and both their hands met. As their fingers touched they looked into each others eyes, Saachi felt shy and tears flowed away and took the hanky while Jeet left her hand.

Jeet: Sorry maine tumhe rula diya.

Saachi: Nahi. Mera pura parivaar mere sath hai, apno se bichdne ka gam insaan ko kitna chubho sakta hai yeh soch rahi thi.

Jeet: Tumhare Ghar mey kaun kaun hain.

Saachi: Mere Mummy Papa, mujhe itna pyaar kartein hain ki kabhi mujhe abtak nahi dantaa. Mummy kabhi kabaar danti hai to Paapa mujhe kuch taufa dekar manaletey hain. Mere bhai, mujhe se umra mey 8 saal bade hain. Isliye woh bhi mujhse bahut pyaar kartein hain. Sab mujhe bahot pamper kartein hain. They never had been rude or harsh to me, isliye mera swabhav bhi aisahi hai, I cant be rude to anyone…(she smiled, giving back his hanky to him)

Jeet: Tumhare brother kya kaam kartein hain.

Saachi: He stays in Canada. There is has his family, wife and two sons.

Jeet: Oh Tum sabki ladli ho…(smiling)

Jeet dropped Saachi at her place; he met her mom Sudha who was very sweet to him. She could feel Saachi in love with Jeet.

Saachi beti tum pyaar mey ho,

yeh mujhe lag raha hai,

Kaash bhagwan meri suney,

kyunki munda to changa hai,

Ab yeh sach ho to khushi meri na pucho,

Iskey papa aye to baat agey badhaungi ab to..
