Chapter 1:
She stood there standing in the balcony looking out far into the ocean, the sun was just setting, and yet it felt like darkness was overcoming her, no matter how much she enjoyed life and living for her husband and friends, her past never left her. Who knew a family that was supposed to bring joy and happiness would one day want to take the life of a young girl who learned the rules of life through Indian movies, and everyday life? A tear fell down her eye, she closed her eyes and stayed calm and until she felt a pair of hands on her waist. Her eyes opened in shock but then she recognized the touch, it was her husband, he had milk chocolate eyes, a French beard growing, black hair and the perfect heart; yes she was married, married off to her high school sweetheart, at first they used to hate each other but slowly and slowly fell in love. He gave her the reason to stay alive, and her friends. He turned her around and said, "what happened, are you thinking about me? You know im hot and all yours, kripa you awake." she dared not to look in his eyes, but she still looked up knowing she could never hide her feelings from him. you see her lips, her eyes and then her entire face, "ya im awake hun, just a bit tired, that's all!" "kripa don't lie to me, I know its your past, why do you think about it when you know it hurts?" she looked into his eyes, as another tear escaped her eyes, "angad, some things can never be forgotten no matter how much you want them too!" He quietly hugged her as she sobbed in his chest, when? when was this everlasting pain going to leave her side, no one knew!
