Part 5:-
"Sir, The accused i.e. Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat oops, I apologize, the ex- Captain Shekhawat… has drifted away a few years ago from the path of a true soldier when he had lost control over his heart."
Her words were artistically being cut out by Naina when she objected. Standing up she said, - "Mr. Shekhawat in all respects is a paragon of selflessness, chivalry, courage and patriotism and he has proved his loyalty countless number of times. The court previously has overlooked all his accomplishments and I would request and hope that it would not be oblivious to this fact any longer. If the judgment is based on the fact that he is an emotional fool and would murder his senior to win thy fair lady's hand then I'd beg to differ. I have mighty confidence that the accused has hardly even lost his temper or should I say has risen his voice in front of his head who ever it might be."
She was rudely being cut off..
"But your honor my good colleague is just trying to convolute a simple case by her so called debates and I sincerely hope that you ignore her shifty approach to the matter. She's just wasting time."
Naina looked at the judge for his say in the matter and was pleased when the judge called out for an objection overruled. With a placid expression and utter ignorance to the hateful overlooks which she had been showered by her 'so called good colleague' she continued, "Thank you your honor and in order to convince my opponent I have proof to support my confidence. I would also like to turn the spotlight on the spot that before being terminated Major Nair had dropped hints of Mr.Shekhawat's innocence. If it be your permission I would like to call upon Major General Chandok to attest my opinion."
Rajveer was shocked to see the same person who had in passionately stripped him from an army captain to a commoner now speaking in favor of him. In his heart blazed a new hope.
Having taken his position, Naina asked him, "Sir, Do you agree with my statement and do what's your personal say in my matter?"
In his reply, he stated, "Rajveer has been a an accomplished pass out of KMA second only to the best – Navin Singh Ahluwalia who had been accused of turning out to be a traitor, but the matter has been in the grey light in the past four years since Rajveer's arrest has pointed of him being innocent and the substantial proof of the red box that he was being poisoned. Anyways sticking on to the topic I do not recall Rajveer of ever being impolite. He has been the most courteous of officers and I also would like to add that in those days, Rajveer has taken up punishments for no fault of his and has yet proved to be the most vigilant of officers when he had stopped the weapons from being smuggled out of the academy while being under solitary confinement."
At this point Captain Salve stood up and walked over to her senior and said, "Sir, I recall that the ex-Captain had been punished for holding an illegal secret meeting without the consent of KMA's Vice Principal and also not divulging the details for which the convention was held. Also I would like to add that at Rajveer's mere order his entire favorite batch of students among whom, five of them have assembled here including my good associate had created chaos just to sanitize a person's ego and teach that person a lesson as to bow down before a raw batch of uncivilized cadets."
