Chapter 18- Friends…with benefits?

"Hey baby, I missed you so much!" She picked the phone up, excited.
"Hey." Shabd said, blandly.
"Okay, what are you doing?" Mahi said, disappointed.
"Stuff." He said coldly.
"Fine, if that's how you want to be, don't call me! I have people around here that actually think I'm important." She said hurt and angry. Shabd sighed.
"Go spend your time with them then. I just wanted to call to see if you were okay. You sound happy."
"I got happy when you called, but you sound too thrilled for your own good." She said sarcastically.
"Mahi, you know I miss you and I love you and you're very important to me." He asked. Mahi felt dumb for nodding into the phone. Shabd knew her well enough to know that. "What are you and HIM doing?" He asked simply.
"Nothing. Just laying around." The words sunk in to boths' heads. "Sitting around! I meant sitting around!!" she quickly corrected.
"Mahi." Shabd laughed, "Chill, okay? I know you guys aren't together. You definitely wouldn't sleep with him." He laughed again. Mahi sighed relief loudly. "But then again, when me and you did….we weren't together either." He teased.
"Shut up, Word Dog." She whined, her tone turned flirtatious. "Accha sun zara."
"Bol zara."
"Papa's not home." She sat smiling in anticipation, waiting for his voice.
"So?" He said smiling.
"I think you should come over." She pleaded innocently.
"What about your company?" Shabd asked.
"Screw him. Come over please. I need to see you!"
"Fine. We'll figure out what to do with lover-boy when we get there." He said, about to hang up.
"No other lover boy for me but you. Suno."
"Bolo." He sighed.
"I love you." She blushed quietly.
"I know." He chuckled extrovertly.
"You stupid monkey donkey idiot son of a goldfish!"
"Wow, you just invented a new species. But I love you too. See you in five minutes." Shabd laughed, about to hang up again. Mahi gave him a loud smack of a kiss through the phone.

Awww that was cuteeeeeeeeeee son of a goldfish😆

Different than most times, Shabd used the front door. He didn't ring the doorbell or knock; he turned the knob and went in. He was about to greet Mahi, but before he could Mahi threw her arms around him and kissed him hard on the mouth. Three minutes, breathlessly they pulled away. Woah lol

"God Mahi, it's only been two days. What a welcome." She held onto his chest, hugging him as if she'd never let go. He laughed at her clinging to him, "What a change. Wanna sit down? I mean it's your house." She shook her black-purple curls. "I wanna hold onto you forever and die right here." Reluctantly, he picked her up and sat with her on the couch. She sat in his lap, facing him. Aww that was sweet😳

"What's wrong with you, Mahi? Why are you so….clingy today?" Shabd raised an eyebrow. did she sleep with angad? 😆😆😆

"Cuz I missed you like crazy and two days with HIM, I realized he's the closest thing to perfect I've ever met. I mean he's sexy and sings and dances. He's a complete gentleman and he understands me and listens. And I've had a crush on him since like forever ago." Omg me too, he's mine though girl😳

"Mahi, are we breaking up?" He tries to push her off his lap, she scoots closer into him. Leaning on him, she whispers, "No. He's like perfect…but I realized. He's not perfect for me. You are." She kissed him again. Breaking up? lol after a huge make-out session/😆

"You realize how amazing you are?" Shabd asks her unbelieving. Mahi didn't nod, she blinked and put her arms around his neck. They kissed until they ran out of breath and then they'd breath and resume. What seemed like hours passed before they heard footsteps and a voice. Here comes my hero

"Mahi?" a deep voice asked. Not panicked, Mahi turns breathlessly. "Angad?"

"Yeah. Who's that?" He asked, flicks of jealousy adorning his well structured face. Awww he's jealoussss mere angad ki kripa ko dhoondlaooo
"This is Shabd, my bo-" Mahi said, before Shabd cut her off.

"Friend." He said, pushing Mahi off his lap. He stood and shook Angad's hand. Why'd he do that?😕

"Pleasure to meet you." Shabd said diplomatically.

"Um. Yeah, same here. Friends, huh? You guys were just making out." He raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

"We're friends," Shabd repeated. He pulled Mahi's waist so that she was in his embrace.

"With benefits." She winked at Shabd, wondering if that would be enough to scare Angad away. lolzzzzzzz

"Oh." Angad said. "That's interesting." He said thoughtfully. "Well don't let me bother you, feel free to continue. I just wanted to know where you keep the towels. I was gonna take a shower." He said coolly and left. "I'll find them myself." OMG ARE U EFFFIN SERIOUS? CARRY ON? LOLZ

"How besharam was he?!" Mahi attempted to free herself of Shabd's grip but he held her close. very besharam

"Very besharam. Now let's do some besharami of our own." He said, kissing her neck.

"Shabd!" She whined. His kisses eventually melted her back into a pile on the couch. Angad came out minutes after they did. He was wearing jeans, revealing the waistband of his boxers. He had no shirt on and water glistened on his chest and head. Mahi's jaw dropped. hahahahha i wish i were her so i cud see that hot view

"Yo." He said, turning the TV on. He sat on the couch next to them and glued his eyes to a very uninteresting documentary on himself. He heard them ramble on about his failed love, Kripa Sharma. "They really should get over that." He sighed, turning the TV on. "So?" He turned to the couple.

"Angad, we're supposedly getting married?" Mahi asked, not noticing Shabd's hand resting on her thigh and back.

"Yeah." He said.

"And it doesn't bother you the least that I'm making out with, or sleeping with Shabd?" She said, holding her breath. She wish he would explode saying it mattered immensely and he was breaking the engagement off. But alas. lol poor mahi

"Listen Mahi. I'm an artist. I've had my share of flings. It's momentary. Nothing lasts forever except marriage. If there isn't a 'till death do us part' it means nothing." With that, he got up and began walking away. Over his shoulder, he yelled, "By the way, I think uncle-ji is home." Mahi's eyes widened as she and Shabd bolted into her room. Running UP the stairs probably wasn't the best idea. When she heard her father's footsteps up the stairs, she felt like she was going to die. He knocked on the door. She shoved Shabd in the closet. She stood at the doorway, nervous. "Yes Papa?" lollll share of flings and mahi's papa home lmao

"Beta, I needed to talk to you. Can I come in?"

"NO! I mean, come to the hallway. My room's a mess." She pulled him into the hallway. Before he could talking, she interrupted. "Hey papa. I just heard the dumbest thing. It was if you need to get out and you know it, clap your hands." Singing obnoxiously loud, "If you need to get out and you know it, clap your hands. If you need to get out and you know it and you don't have time to show it. If you need to get out and you know it clap your hands." She heard two clapping noises from her room. Shabd is an idiot, she thought. lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooo i <3 this part 🤣 he is a total idiot, and she sounds mentally ill😆😆

"Beta, are you alright?" He checked her head for a temperature. hahahahah

"Yeah, yeah. Just Angad. He cooked me something. I think the cheese has gone bad or something. What were you saying?" angad cooked her something?!!😆😆

"Nothing. You rest. I'll talk to you later when you're up for it." He asked, she nodded and went to her room. Relieved she was for not finding Shabd there.

"God. Thank you." She muttered.

Chapter 18- Abstaining

"So, how long have you guys been going out?" Maya asked, stroking her paintbrush to harshly that the hairs were sticking off the canvas in its ugliness. She had the skill, but right now she was painting for the sake of moving her hands.

"A while." Suhani said, gingerly stroking the light onto the left of the lake.

"Oh, darling. That shade is far too dark." Said Maya with what seemed like pity. She turned and dropped a glass of red paint all over Suhani. Suhani gasped, mouth open. WHAT A
🤬beyotch!!

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry." She took the napkin and dragged the paint around her white t-shirt. Suhani glared at her, as Rajvir moved toward her. omgg i ahte her a lot lol

"What's going on?" He asked, sternly. Maya shrugged mischievously and said, "White really doesn't suit you anyways. Sorry bout your painting though." She said as she moved her arm, swiping a river of green over the translucent blue of the lake. She foe-gasped, apologized and walked away all smirks. OMG Stupid &&@$W%#

"Why didn't you say anything to her?" Rajvir scolded. She looked down and shrugged. He sighed at her kindness towards the wrong-doer. Tearful, Suhani stood face down. She was ashamed at her idiosyncrasy. She was so dumb.

"Hey." Rajvir said, rubbing her shoulder. "I didn't mean to yell at you. But Maya is a complete psychotic bi***. Don't let her walk all over you."

"I…I…What am I supposed to do?" Suhani cried.

"If they want to play dirty; then retaliate please, would you?" His British accent was making it hard for her to grasp anything he was saying. Had she heard him, she would've nodded and responded but her eyes were fixed on his mouth; his lips. His voice is so…, his lips…make me wish I could…Eventually, Rajvir noticed her admiring gaze. He stopped talking, and lifted her chin so her eyes met his. Oh God, Oh God, Oh God…

He smirked, thinking of the conversation on the plane. "So if I kissed you, you'd kiss back, right?" He muttered softly. She smiled and broke their fixation on the other's eyes as she looked down. She was being shy; who did that anymore?

He lifted her chin again, and confirmed. "Right." His lips pressed briefly onto hers before she heard a throat clearing behind her. "You and I are in the same cabin." Maya glared. She stormed off. LOLLLLLLL Poor Hani, share a room with maya ughhh!!

Rajvir laughed, "Did you see her face?" Suddenly the thought occurred to Suhani that he could've seen Maya before and kissed her only to avoid her. Her fear was in her celery colored eyes.

"So…where was I?" He smiled, replacing his lips onto hers again. She heat rose between their breaths as the gap between their bodies closed. Soon, Rajvir had his arms around Suhani's waist and Suhani had her arms comfortably around Rajvir's neck. The kiss got deeper as Rajvir slipped his tongue into Hani's mouth. She gasped a bit. Her stomach was doing flip-flops. hot hot😳

Neither of them knew how long they had been standing there, kissing but when they opened their eyes they turned to see Mrs. Goswami. Suhani pulled away from Rajvir and looked down in embarrassment. Rajvir smiled idiotically at Suhani, even while his mother was scolding him. LOLLL

"Rajvir! This is not the time, nor the place to be doing…this." She shot her angry glance at Suhani, realizing her son was too busy smiling dumbly to hear her.

"And you, Suhani—err, Ms. Patel. Well mannered girls from good families like yours don't engage in such behavior. Please abstain from it. Is that understood?" Suhani looked down and nodded.

As soon as Mrs. Goswami turned around and left, Rajvir moved toward Suhani with that same frighteningly intense gaze fixed upon her lips. Her mouth curled into a smile as Rajvir brought his lips to her. Before he could kiss her, she placed her finger on his mouth. HAHA HE tries kissing her after all that? lmao

"I am supposed to abstain from this, Vir." He moved back and pouted. "I'm not saying anything about that. You keep your bloody abstinence, but one kiss?" He smiled, almost pleading.

She shook her head. "Not even a little tiny one?" He confirmed. He sighed. "Fine. Wait till the weekend." Rajvir said mischievously.

"What's on the weekend?" Suhani asked, truly innocently.

"Well, sweetheart," He started snaking his arm around her waist, tugging her forward to him, "On the weekends, the cleaning people come in. And we have no class. It's like completely off. And the workshop people aren't allowed into their cabins until Monday night." He smirked.

"What shall I do all weekend?" She sighed in fake disdain.

"We shall have to work something out and see." He flashed a smile that was close to making her swoon. ah i wanna see that smile, wait first i wanna see this guy's pic lolz

Chapter 19- Facing Fears 101 For the Fearless

"Ishu bhaiya?" Niharika asked, stepping into a place she feared.

"Niharika? What the hell?" A tall, darkly stubbled man looked to her with blood-shot eyes. He hadn't slept in days.

"I couldn't find you when I called so I came looking. Bhaiya. Let's go home."

"NO!" He argued, "These people need me!"

"We'll come back, Bhai. Bhai, I promise. Please." She pulled at his arm. He refused to budge.

"No! These people need help! I can't just let them die." He said. The words brought tears to Niharika's eyes. She was standing in an Institution. This particular department was for people that were mentally unstable and wish to harm themselves. This was the place for the mad suicidal people; this was where her father said their mother belonged. This was it. Niharika had gone through rounds of therapy and counseling. All of the various professionals told her the same thing; when Niharika wanted something she got it. She was bound by nothing, she feared nothing. They were wrong. THIS is what she feared.

"Bhai, please. I don't like this place." She cried as tears finally managed to roll down her cheeks.

"We're coming back." He said firmly. He walked with her on his arm, to the gates of the building. The two sat on a bench and Ishaan finally watched his little sister cry. When their mother died, she hadn't cried. She had never cried; as far as he remembered.

"Ishaan. You know how worried I was?" She said crying, that wasn't the reason.

"Why are you crying?" He asked.

"I couldn't find you." She sniffed.

"17 years, I know you a little better than that. What is it?"

"I hate this place." She gestured to the mental institution.

"Why? Niharika, they need help. Ariana's husband committed suicide too. People can't just go on killing themselves. If I can help save ONE life, it'll be worth it."

Niharika sat silent; "You think Maa deserved to be in one of these places?" She felt more tears press upon her closed lids.

"Niharika…" He sighed, putting his arm around her. "Maa was sick. If she was in a place like this, I'm sure she'd be with us today." He said, calmly.

"Bhaiya. Maa was NOT crazy. I don't care what you say or what Papa says. She wasn't. That's the truth." Her voice was smaller than she had hoped, more tears.

"I know beta, she wasn't." Beta? He was only a year older than her but often as children, he called her that when she was hurt or sad. It gave the illusion of him knowing more, being wiser. He wasn't. He was just as confused as she was. He had sorted out this issue years ago though when it had happened. Niharika bottled things up. She resolved things very late.

"Than why did Papa say she was?" Niharika asked childishly.

"Because Papa was angry. He thinks it was his fault. He's sad." Ishaan answered each question with such simplicity that it made Niharika's heart ache.

"Whose fault was it?" Nihu asked in a whisper. She wanted Ishaan not to hear. After all the reassurances, the last thing Niharika wanted her brother to know was that she wasn't okay.

"It was hers," he pointed to my locket with Maa's picture in it. "For choosing to leave us, for choosing the easy way out." He pointed to the sky, "It was His. For not giving her the strength to fight her problem. But ours? We had no fault. We were just living our lives the best we could." He shrugged.

"Why did she leave us? Why was she so sad?" Eras of questions erupted from her heart and eyes.

"Maa was…free. She was independent. She was vast. She was hard to contain in one place. You know what she wanted to do as her career?"

"She wanted to be an archaeologist, so she could know everything," Niharika smiled, despite the memory.

"She even wanted to know everything. She wanted the world. She was meant to do something. And what did she become? A housewife. She was in the confines of the house all day, 24x7. It was her choice. She could have become an archaeologist, had she wanted."

"We suffocated her." Niharika said, wide eyed.

"No Niharika. We didn't. She chose the life she had. Everyone chooses their own life. No one can force you to live a certain way. It's all right here." He pointed to his heart.

"She died of dissatisfaction." Niharika stated simply.

"So you could say." He finally agreed with her. "Niharika, are you still scared of this place?" Ishaan asked, pointing back to the edifice.

"To my barest bones. Like hell I am." She laughed a little through her river of tears.

"Well, it's okay. Because I am too. I'm not sure how I can help." He said unsure. Finally, he admitted he didn't know something.

"I have an idea. Why don't you finish school and then think about it…?" Niharika smiled.

"Well, I'm thinking of switching my major to Psych. And then maybe. My tuition is way late though." He scrubbed his head vigorously.

"I paid it. You better get back though, before your roommates get worried. What's this whole Ariana business?" Niharika eyed his face in suspicion, her mind was in a completely different place but she was still crying.

"Just a friend. Isn't Joseph precious though? I told her to tell anyone that came looking for me that she was my girlfriend."

"Joseph is pretty adorable. I figured. She was too awesome to be your taste." Niharika laughed.

"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. So what's up with you and your crazy ass friends lately?" Ishaan laughed.

"Mahi's not a virgin. She has a new boyfriend, who used to stalk her. She is now engaged to long time crush, Angad Khanna the rock star. Who she now expresses no interest in. Vidya has befriended the very cocky Sagar Pratap Singh, who she had a little, or actually big spat with. She slapped him and he kissed her and threw her down onto the pool ground tile floor. She was banged up pretty bad and broke a few ribs. But he apologized so she forgave him. Suhani's in Spain with her pretend boyfriend, son of the workshop coordinator who's a good artist too. And I met a guy in Goa at camp, he's a coach. I really like him and he left his job at camp to come accompany me here."

"You and your little teenage drama…wait, a coach?! Niharika, are you like sick or something?!?! How old is he?"

"Nineteen." She said calmly.

"And you traveled alone with him??" He was nearly yelling at her.

"Chill bhai. He hasn't touched me. Except for a little bit of kissing but that wasn't a complete make-out sess-" Niharika started dreamily.

"Okay, I need not to hear this. And on a side note, are you crazy?!?!" Probably not the best place to ask this, they were sitting right outside of a mental asylum.

"I really like him. His name is Vedant. We really click. I can talk to him. And he's REALLY HOT." She said, like a typical teenage girl. He looked at her sternly.

"I'm meeting him when…?" Ishaan asked dumbly.

"Uh, never. I don't wanna scare him away…." She said in a duh! tone.

"Tonight will be a fine time then." He said, walking away sarcastically.

"Oye! Wait! You can't meet him!" Niharika began running, "Rukh! Ishu, stop!" He walked quicker, just to irritate her. " You have my keys, you little b****!!!" He smirked, patting the metal in his pocket.

I loved their whole conversation! It was touching, and what Ishu is doing is so sweet😳 lol i love his protectiveness!!

Chapter 20- Juss Doing Stuff

Mahi sat at the hospital with a smiling Shabd, waiting for Vidya. Shabd grinned in anticipation as Mahi spat her Propel out.

"You laced my water?!?!?!" She popped into her mouth a yellow starburst.

"Hm? Yeah. You're fun when you're drunk. A little vodka never hurt anyone. You don't drive anyways." He chuckled.

"So? I'm telling Vidya. Your sister will be deeply upsetted with you and I, am now officially not talking to you." Mahi turned around in anger. He turned her back around and kissed her, pulling away grinning.

"That's not fair!!!!!!" She whined as Vidya walked in.

"What's not fair?" Vidya asked, replacing herself in the bed.

"He took my starburst! It was my last one!!!" lollllllllllllllll

"So?" Vidya asked, folding her sheet.

"It was in my mouth." Mahi glared and grinded her teeth at Shabd, who was happily chewing away.

"Aww," Vidya starts and sees Shabd wink at an angry Mahi, "Ew Bhai…"

"What?" He shrugged.

"Trust me bhai. Mahi doesn't like being touched and/or kissed." Shabd smirked at a blushing Mahi, who was recalling her overly excited welcome for him the other night. hahahhaah

"Really?" He asked, "Your friend can't seem to keep her hands off -" He started.

"Shabd shut up!!" She shot him and angry and embarrassed glance.

"Totally Bhai. I SO don't wanna know what you guys do in your off time." Vidya laughed. Mahi looked at both, infuriated as Shabd, who smiled admirably winked at her. She sighed.

"You two always gang up on me. Why can't you two NOT know each other? Vidya how are you?"

"I'm….angry that you just dissed my brother but he's a jerk so no biggie." Vidya laughed.

"Hey!" yelled Shabd as Vidya and Mahi high-fived. "Good one but I think she meant your health." Shabd smiled sarcastically.

Vidya stood, "I'm great. My ribs are fine now! I'm just a little sore & bruised." She got up and began dancing. Mahi's cell rang.

"YOU TWO!!!! Need to get out!" Vidya said. "Sagar is coming and I don't want you two to hurt him."

"Fine! We're leaving." Mahi said rolling her eyes. "C'mon Shabd." She pulled him out of the room, lacing her fingers through his, they walked to the exit.

"Mahi. Where are we going?" Shabd tilted her head to the side.

"Your house." She smiled naively.

"To do what?" He eyed suspiciously.

"Stuff." She shrugged.

"Mahi, you know I love you but we've been doing 'stuff' for about three months straight and you haven't really been home a lot. Doesn't your dad care?"

"Nope. Are you complaining about us doing 'stuff'?"

"No, no. Stuff is fine. Stuff is great. I don't mind stuff as long as you want it too but I'm saying…" lol stuff is fine? great?😆😆😆😆

"Saying….?" Mahi asked, annoyed.

"I'm saying. What if we…" His voice trailed off.

"What if what, Shabd?" She asked, impatient.

"What if we…I don't know, Mahi." He stumbled on his words. "I'm worried about us." He sighed.

"Don't be," Mahi assured. She was about to continue as urgency flashed her face. She ran back to Vidya's room and locked herself in the washroom.

"What's wrong with Mahi?" Shabd inquired, hoping his sister had an answer.

"I have no clue. She's been puking like there's no tomorrow."

About a half an hour of worrying later, Mahi came out red and gasping. She sat with her heads in her hands "That's the fourth time this week." She said.

"What's wrong with you?" Vidya asked, concerned. She was biting her nails unknowingly.

Mahi looked teary-eyed at Shabd and then back at Vidya, "I think I might be…I hope I'm, not…there's a slight chance that I could be…" She began crying. Vidya glanced at Shabd confused.

He finally said, "I think I might have gotten her pregnant." Slowly he made his way to Mahi and rubbed her back. She sobbed harder. Shabd consoled her, "Shhh, its okay."

She glanced at him angry, "It's not okay! I'm 17 f**king years old! I can't have a baby!"

"I know, Mahi. We're not having a baby. Even if we are, you don't have to…" He though and his deep voice shrunk. "You don't have to have it." He finished slowly. Vidya turned slowly to the two. "I'll talk to you later." She said to Shabd, turning to Mahi, she said "Are you even sure?" Mahi shook her head and shrugged. "I'm going to go now, you two need to talk." With that, Vidya left.

"What if I really am, Shabd?" Mahi cried.

"Then…" He sighed, "your father has all the more reason for you to marry." She looked at him wide-eyed. omgggggg

"Don't tell me that." She pleaded, holding him close.

"Maybe we should…stop seeing each other." She looked at him, shocked. Blinking back tears, she spat bitterly. "Fine, maybe we should."

"Mahi, you've got to understand that…" He tried to show her reason. Mahi got up and walked toward the door. She said softly, "I don't need to understand anything. Its okay, Shabd. I'll love you anyways."

"Well…" Mahi smiled sadly, "Every good thing has an end." She laughed lightly.

"Well what are you going to do about THAT?" Vidya asked, pointing to the pile of EPT tests, all reading the same thing.

"Well, I don't need anyone. Half of my life Maa raised me and the other half, I raised myself. Kids with single parents exist too." She said, clutching her stomach. "She'll be one too. I didn't come out too bad, and Niharika's pretty awesome too."

"She?" Vidya asked.

"Yeah. It'll be a girl hopefully." Mahi said, smiling and still crying at once.

"Well, you know what? This kid is gonna have four moms so…"

"I won't need Shabd?" She smiled sadly.

"Does he even know about this? Like does he know that you are really sure…" Mahi shook her head. "Well, no one's telling him. He doesn't care. I don't need him. I can go on without him. It'll take a little getting used to but nonetheless, I can do it."

"You guys were living together?" Vidya asked.

"Practically." Mahi said, cleaning the mess of pregnancy tests off the table, leaving one forgotten on the desk.

"So there was a lot of…?" Vidya asked, trying to piece the story together.

"An awful lot of it…" Mahi said. If she thought back to it, she could still feel Shabd's warm touch on her waist, her lips, her neck…she shuddered.

"Ohhhhh…." Vidya thought.

"And now, I live at my house again. I wonder how difficult it is hiding your pregnancy from your fianc." She smirked, "Or ex-fianc."

"Mahi, what are you going to do?" Vidya asked.

"Something…don't tell Shabd about this though. I don't want him to stay with me because he has to. Please don't say anything to him."

"Don't tell me about what?" A deep male voice said from behind.

"Shabd, why are you here?" Mahi sighed.

"Because…" He started. Mahi slammed the door shut in his face.

Oh man this is sad.. i knew she'd be pregnant... and u had told me😆😆 but man... angad broke up with her or no? i want my angad to find a girl man, HOOK ME UP WITH HIM!!😆

Chapter 21- Finally Home

"I'm home!!!!" Vidya yelled happily to the empty house, twirling and dancing. Gracefully, she dropped to the leather loveseat. "Owwww." She groaned, pulling her shirt up to see bruises. She got up to find all her servants on leave. She grabbed her iPod and began washing dishes. Happily, she cranked the music up and she swayed while lathering plates.

She did ab rolls, a beginners' bellydancing move while listening to Saaki from Musafir. The soreness was slowly numbing. Or maybe her already high threshold for pain was increasing. She stopped fearing both. She skipped to the next song; Shut Up by Black Eyed Peas. She sang both male and female parts. The door clicked open, she didn't hear it. Her voice was mellifluously tuned, and strangely beautiful for a rookie.

Sagar stood outside the kitchen, watching Vidya as the door was ajar. She sang and bounced.

We tryin to take it slow
but we're still losing control
and we're tryin to make it work
but it still ends up the worst
and im crazy
im tryin to be lady
I think im goin crazy

Sagar stood anticipating hearing Vidya rap but she dropped the sponge in the soapy water and began digging it back out.

you yell, I yell everybody yells
we got neighbors across the streets sayin
who da hell, what the hell's goin down
too much of the bickering, killin with the sound

and shut up, just shut up shut up
shut up, just shut up shut up

Sagar noticed, Vidya only sang selected lines of the song. She censored it in her head. Strange, he thought. She sang portions of Fergie's lines better than Fergie herself. She was khanjoos with her singing. She was bored with the song; she busied herself in scrubbing lasagna off a glass pan. Her iPod turned to the next song. It was Zara Zara from Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. God, talk about random.

Zara zara mahek tha hai
bahek tha hai
aaj to mera tan badan
mein pyaasi hoon
mujhe barle apni bahon mein

Hai meri kasam tujhko sanam
door kahi na jaa
yeh doori kehti hain paas meri aaja re

Yuhi baras baras kaali ghata bares
hum yaar bheeg jaye
iss chaahat ki bearish mein
mere khuli khuli laton ko suljaye
tum apni oongaliyon se
mein to hoon issi kwaish mein

sardhi ki raaton mein
hum sooyen rahe ek chaadar mein
hum dono tanha ho
na koi bhi rahe iss ghar mein

Zara zara mahek tha hai
bahek tha hai
aaj to mera tan badan
mein pyaasi hoon
mujhe barle apni bahon mein

tadhpaye mujhe teri sabi baatein
ek baar ay deewane
jhoota hi sahi
pyar to kar
mein bhooli nahin haseen mulaqatein
bechayn kar ke mujhke
mujhse yun nah pher nazar

roothe na ga mujhse
mere saath piya yeh vaada kar
tere bina
mushkil hai
jeena mera mere dilbar

Sagar was intoxicated with her honey sweet voice, her voice was appealing. Seductive almost. He leaned on the door and fell, not knowing it wasn't the knobbed kind, but the type that swung in and out.

She looked at him as if he had escaped a strait jacket.

"Umm, you sing really well." He said, pulling himself up.

"Thanks. It helps when you can relate to the song." She said, shyly.

"Really?" Sagar asked, hopeful. "Who's the lucky guy?" He anticipated his name.

"Angad Khanna." She said dreamily. Sagar really didn't like Vidya like that, he thought. He just couldn't stand she wasn't in love with him, instead.

"Punk." He spat, under his breath.

"What?" Vidya asked, unplugging her white ear buds.

"I said Angad Khanna is a punk." Vidya was putting dried dishes away. She held a knife and waved it at him passionately, "Bad mouth my man, ONE MORE TIME and see what happens!"

"Your man?" Sagar clenched his mouth shut, in hopes nothing mean coming out. All to no avail. "You wish Vidya. What kind of friend are you anyways, eying your friend's fianc." He repeated the words he had heard her say on the phone. He snapped his hand over his mouth again.

"You were eavesdropping?" She said shocked, she pulled herself out of the shock and smacked him.

"Ow, Violence VIDYA?!" He said rubbing the newfound bump on his head.

"Your friend, my brother is a JACKASS!" Vidya yelled, sitting down.

"What happened?" He asked. Vidya opened up her mouth to tell him but she was sure Mahi would kill her if she somehow leaked the news to Shabd.

"He broke up with Mahi. Why are you here, Sagar?" She asked, changing the subject. Sagar raised his eyebrow.

"Because. You're dumb and you'd probably go running or something in this condition." In this condition, she thought of Mahi.

"That ship has sailed. I already went jogging." Vidya said obviously. Sagar huffed.

"Well…" He didn't feel like arguing. "I'm bored."

"Me too." Vidya said. "Wonder what he's doing…" She sighed dreamily.

"Let's go to your room." Sagar smiled childishly. Vidya raised an eyebrow at him. "Vidya, I'm not going to sexually assault you or something." He said jokingly. He instantly regretted his words. Vidya saw his predicament and pretended not to take notice.

"Of course not. Let's go." She smiled and led him up. Sagar's jaw dropped at her room. It was entirely red with posters of Angad and Linkin Park all plastered all over her walls.

"You're obsessed." Sagar said, disgusted.

"Nope. Just in love." Vidya said happily. She wasn't in love of course, but she loved the way Sagar winced, in pain almost, as soon as he heard Angad's name.

"Love. Hmmph." He huffed.

"Don't be such a hater. Want coffee?" She chirped. He nodded and pranced down the stairs. Sagar called behind her, "Yo! Be careful, take your time." He snooped around, quite sneakily.

He looked in her desk, on her computer, in her documents…nothing. A black thing peaked out from under the black lace pillow. It was a diary. Flipping to the page that fell open, he read:

He doesn't care. He really doesn't. He told me. We were at the poolhouse. Everything was fine. Until the sun sank. Drowned really. Just like we did. When I hit the floor, I knew everything I had ever thought about him was wrong.

Who was this about? Sagar? Harsh? The tragedy of Vidya's life was that she was destined to make the same mistake over and over again. She searched for the good in a person, even if it wasn't there. He read on.

I thought I loved him. Thought? Ha! I did love him. But every mark on my body proved how much I'm worth. He said if I loved him I'd do what he says. I almost did. But reality kicked in when he threw me onto the floor. I didn't move. I couldn't. He laughed and lit his cigarette. He tried to kiss me. I pushed him away, he pressed the lit end of the cigarette against the skin of my neck. I screamed. He said if I was going to scream, I might as well have a reason to. Half of my clothes were gone when Suhani came. I held onto her and cried. When I woke up, I was at home. I thought it was a nightmare, but the burning on my neck told me it wasn't. It's been a week now. I really should let go. Harsh is in jail. For attempted rape. He said I wasn't good enough for anyone else. I haven't been able to stop crying. I don't pity myself but trusting is a whole lot harder now a days.

Sagar stood there, shivering. He turned to a different page.

Teach a stone to love,
and the dumb to speak
I'd finally be heard
I'd teach the cripple to dance
the blind to see,
you might see my worth
if possible to break the chains,
I'd break free and fly
but I still can't forget you
if only I could die

The love died long ago
if it was ever there
all emotion died
when I finally felt the fear
only opened my eyes
when I had let tears flow
the only time you saw me
was when you decided to go

you left without a thought
not even a second glance
never thought I'd say this
but we need a second chance
I miss you and I need you
and I know you always knew
however you are
all I have to look forward to in life, is
only you.

Sagar looked at her picture with disgust. He couldn't believe her. She still felt anything for this insensitive jerk that didn't do anything but hurt her. Wait, but she was friends with him too. He never did anything but hurt her too. He was worse. He intentionally hurt her for his amusement. For Harsh, it was lust. What was his excuse? He had none.

He turned a few pages. A lot of pages. He stopped at mention of his name. He read slowly, dwelling on each word.

Today, I carried on a conversation with the VERY impossible, Sagar Pratap Singh. He's not as shallow as I thought. We talked about sunsets and theology. It was…enlightening? I'm surprised that I ever carried a hatred for him. We called a truce. I hope it lasts. He seems like an okay person. I can't even remember why I disliked him. He's stubborn and self-centered but even I can be sometimes. He can't be a bad person though; no one's a bad person. Right?...Right. Well, I don't think being friends is an option since we are basically VERY DIFFERENT PEOPLE. Well maybe not really, but still. Acquaintances are fine. Lots of things are meant to happen and lots aren't. These are one of the few that aren't.

Well, that was normal. He felt disappointed that the excerpt on him was so brief and pessimistic but he flipped a few pages to find that day.

Well, another not happy ending. I sat and cried though, it was my fault. I shouldn't have yelled at Sagar. Everyone knows of his temper. But I had an excuse. I have my temper too. Why is it that I'm not allowed to be mad? Why doesn't anyone understand I don't like being touched? Why don't they understand that I HATE being touched. There are probably other girls who went through what I did, do they live in the same fear I do? The fear that I'll never be worth anything. I'm told otherwise but what else would explain it? That I'm not worth loving. I'm not even worth liking. I'm worth being cheated on. I deserved it. I usually hate self-pity but today…I'll make the exception. I wanted to talk to Mahi but I couldn't. I tried calling Hani or Nihu. But I didn't. They're happy. I don't want to ruin it.

Well, one thing is clear. Physical affection is not meant for me. One time it was Harsh and I never let him and the other time it was Sagar. It was depressing to think that THAT was my first kiss. That harsh, violent kiss was it. In anger, in vengeance for Sagar it was nothing but to me…? In the end, I was the one with the bleeding lips and broken spirit. I had become strangely attracted to Sagar in the past days. I mean how could I not…I spent nearly every day with him. Really, its not my sore heart or my bleeding body that hurt the most. What hurt the most was that this was SAGAR telling me my real worth. My friend, Sagar.

When Harsh had said it, it was in anger. When Ali had cheated it was coincidence. When Sagar said it was confirmation. Three strikes. I'm giving up now. Sometimes, I wish I could undo myself out of everyone's life and paste my presence into a different world. But there's no Heaven or Hell…perhaps.

It's all here.

Sagar held his breath, reading the entry. The day where he had beat her; she had thought he was right. She thought she was wrong. Vidya thought she was wrong…it registered into his mind. Vidya wasn't the confident, proud girl everyone knew. In fact, she was a broken, soft-hearted sensitive person who had too much disappointment in her life. She was weak. She couldn't take any more than life had already given her.

She deserved better, he resolved. He would find her better, if it was necessary but Vidya needed someone to love her. He heard her footsteps approaching the door that stood, ajar. He shoved the diary back under the pillow.

"Coffee. With two spoons cream and one spoon sugar, just like you like it." Vidya chirped. She handed him the mug and he sipped reluctantly. It really was how he liked it. When had he told her how he liked his coffee? How did she like her coffee? Sagar never paid attention to such detail.

She sipped her mug. Its liquid was a different color, he raised an eyebrow at her. "I don't drink coffee. I drink tea. Its green tea." She smiled. They sat on the bed, sipping their mugs quietly.

"Vidya." Sagar broke the silence. She turned, smiling. She smiled a lot, she looked at him expectantly. He piled words in his head. "You know I'm really glad you're better now." Sagar sighed.

"Yeah. I know." She said, staring into her tea.

"I'm so—" Sagar started and Vidya turned and said, "I forgive you. I said forget about it. It was my fault. So just…." Her voice shrunk.

"It was NOT your fault. I was out of line to touch you, even though I was joking…I should've known." He said, apologizing.

"If you say sorry again. I'm never talking to you again." Vidya laughed.

"Gladly." Sagar laughed back. Vidya stopped laughing. "I'm really sorry I'm so…" She paused thoughtfully, "dumb. And impossible to put up with. You were right. I'm not sure how you tolerated me all this time either." Sagar thought the day he took her to the hospital and how she was always quoting his words. Did she really take his words so seriously?

"Vidya listen." Sagar stopped as she moved her eyes onto his face. She was listening. "I'm an IDIOT. Stop listening to me. I don't make any sense to myself. I can't expect you to understand. Just…chill." He said. She nodded, looking down. She felt small, she looked small too.

"You're not an idiot." She defended him again. She was always doing that. "I'm going to listen to you…" forever? No, no of course not. "No matter what you say. Whenever you'll ever need anyone to talk to, I'll always be here for you."

"I think we should talk about something else." Sagar groaned. Vidya's face lit up. "Let's talk about Angad." She chirped. How about we not? Sagar thought. He rolled his eyes and said, "Fine."

"Well, I was thinking…" Vidya started. "We could cancel Busch Gardens. Or you could just take your passes back."

"What? Why?" He asked, confused.

"You know Mahi and Shabd aren't exactly…together?" And Mahi is in no condition to go anyways.

"Sh**, you're right. They should work things out. What happened anyways?" Sagar asked, turning to her. She gulped.

"Promise not to tell Shabd?" She asked. He nodded. "Pinky promise?" Vidya asked, childishly. Defeated, Sagar put his pinky out.

"Mahi's pregnant." Vidya said sighing.

"WHAT?! No Vidya, seriously. What happened?" Sagar asked laughing, Vidya's eyes grew large as did Sagar's in epiphany. "You're serious? And Shabd knows? And he just…he just…he just…left her?!" She nodded.

"But he doesn't know she's sure. He broke up with her when she mentioned she MIGHT be. Now it's confirmed. I've never seen Mahi in worse a condition than now. She says she doesn't need Shabd."

"Well she most certainly does." Sagar stated, "I haven't talked to Shabd in like 4 days. I should call him." Sagar resolved.

"No use. He's at Mahi's….arguing." She sighed.

"Well, we should wait it out then." Sagar said. "Vidya, can I ask something personal?" She nodded. "Do you really like this Angad dude? I mean like seriously?" He asked, reluctantly.

She smirked and said, "Look around Sagar, what do you think?" Sagar looked around to see hundreds of Angad posters stare back at him.

"Never mind." He said, sounding stupid. She smiled knowingly, "Any reason you ask?"

Sagar paused. "Uh. No reason. Any guy you get serious with should be worthwhile. You deserve nothing less than the best."

"Hmm." She mumbled staring into her lap. She sounded unbelieving, almost sarcastic.

"Seriously." He said, cradling her face. Why was he holding her? He stared into her eyes. She gazed back. His hand moved over hers. She felt electricity in her hand. She snapped out of her trance, she was left to see an enamored Sagar. Her eyes pleaded, Please let go. He took no heed. She fell back into the trance. They sat, staring for a few minutes. Both motionless.

Vidya had to stop, she wasn't breathing. She got up uncomfortably and began to leave. Sagar caught hold of her hand. "Stop. It's getting late. I should get going." Sagar said, lightly seating her back onto the bed. He kissed her forehead and left. Vidya looked out of her door, puzzled.

Chapter 22- Biz-natch!

"Hey." Suhani smiled shyly. Rajvir gave no reply and pulled her into a kiss.

"Suhani dear, would you give me a hand with this??" Maya asked, grinding her teeth pathetically. She was holding a tall pile of boxes. Suhani took one box. "Well Suhani. I have to finish up that sketch I started so could you please take these boxes to our cabin for us?" Suhani smiled fakely and took two boxes and said, "Raj, dude help me." He was about to pick a box up.

"Beta. Could you be a darling and help Maya with her sketch? You know she has problems with charcoal. Since it's all black and white, its impossible for her to get the shading right."

Rajvir grinned wide, "Well Maa, I'd love to. But I suck at shading too. Maybe you could teach her. I think I'll help Hani instead." He smiled, picking up a box and following Suhani to her cabin. She was already unloading the boxes, when Rajvir held her waist from behind. His lips rested along her neck.

"You're so bad." Suhani laughed.

"I know. But I didn't want to spend time with that witch…" He talked into her neck. The warm air tickled her back.

"And you're mom?"

"She's being a witch too." He whined. Suhani turned around, facing him. Their faces were centimeters apart.

"Your mom is nice." Suhani defended. Rajvir nodded, "Sometimes." Suhani continued, "And Maya is a biznatch. I hate her already. And I get to live with her for a month."

Rajvir groaned. "After a month, you'll leave."

Suhani stood thoughtful, it was true. Only one month left. "Yeah." She said sadly.

"Well, what then?" Rajvir said. He sat on the bed, and pulled Suhani into his lap.

"Then…we go back to normal?" She asked.

"I don't want you to leave." He pulled her closer into his embrace.

"Me neither." She said. "Why do you live in Mumbai anyways?" She said, a little angry.

"Because my mother wishes me to. Where SHOULD I live?" He asked, amused.

"Benaras." She said indignantly.

"Well maybe you should come to Mumbai sometime." He smiled. She nodded in agreement.

"So are WE going to be over?" Suhani asked, naively.

"Of course not. You can not possibly imagine to get rid of me that easily." He kissed her softly.

"I'm supposed to abstain from this. You are absolutely mad." Suhani stated. "May I ask you something?" Suhani asked, loathing her slight British accent. If she spent more time in him, she would surely sound like a Brit.

"Why I sound British?" He asked. She nodded with relief. "I'm a bit….culturally confused, let us say. My mother is a hardcore…"

"Bengali." I finished, he nodded.

"And my dad was Punjabi. They didn't get along very well. It was arranged." He explained. Suhani nodded her head.

"I was born in Mumbai. Then when Maa and Dad broke up we moved to London. A couple years we moved back. So I'm a Bengali-Punjabi British Indian mess of confusion."

"You're not a mess of confusion. You're an amazing, diverse guy. I couldn't imagine you without every bit of it." She kissed him lightly.

"Well, at least I turned out pretty alright," He sighed. Suhani kissed him again. "You came out as a quality gentleman, and finding a gentleman in this day and age…? Very hot." She gave him a series of short pecks on the lips.

"Hot, eh? Interesting. Finding a girl that still blushes is quite hot also. And this…" He pecked her on the lips, mimicking her kiss, "is prohibited, is it not?"

"In my cabin, everything I say goes. Kay?" She smiled flirtatiously.

"Okay. So tell me is this…" He kissed her longer and harder, slipping his tongue between her pursed lips, abruptly pulling away, "allowed?"

"Hmmm, shayad. Oh, lord. You do speak hindi, correct?" She asked.

He nodded, laughing "You're quite the riot, I must say Suhani." She laughed sarcastically.

"Well then…" He started as the speakers came on.

"All Workshop members will be released from camp in 3 minutes. Any members who are found in the premises will be escorted by security. Workshop members will be expected to return on 7 AM sharp Monday morning. Have a great weekend."

There was a loud bell ringing.

"Let's go." Rajvir said, mischievously.

"Where are we going?" Suhani asked quizzically.

"Somewhere…" He said with a fake evil grin on his face.

Chapter 23- Meeting the Brother

"Bhai." She gasped, "This is Vedant."

"Vedant. This is my brother, Ishaan."

"Hello." Vedant said. He sounded chirpy almost, this was a first.

"Hello. So you and Niharika are dating?" He eyed suspiciously.

"Yeah. Why SHOULD'NT we be?" Niharika slapped her hand to her forehead.

"You're nineteen. Are girls your age not interested in you?" Ishaan asked like a true immature brat.

"Okay, dude. I understand your Niharika's big brother and all but seriously, I'm older than you."

"So you are." Ishu stated. "Why are you going out with her?"

"Why? Is there something particularly wrong with her?" Vedant asked sassily.

"Yes. She's a bit young for you. And you were her coach."

"Am." Vedant corrected.

"That's worse." He glared. Vedant rolled his eyes at him and answered. "Two years is NOT that big of a deal. It's not like me and Niharika are already --"

"Okay…" Niharika cut him off, loudly. Ishaan glared at Vedant.

"If you were going to complete that sentence with what I thought you were than you will be returning home in a body cast."

"Really?" Vedant asked, sarcastically.

"Touch my sister and I turn every bone in your body into soorma…"

"I'm so scared." He said sarcastically.

"Oh, and yes. I WILL not hesitate handing you over to the police if any such thing does occur."

"What? Why?" Niharika asked, cutting in.

"It's a thing called statutory rape." He said smartly.

"Bhai! We aren't….doing that." Niharika argued.

"Damn straight, you ain't! And it better stay that way." He glared at Vedant. Vedant had no reply. At this point, he was actually intimidated. As was Niharika, for a large man Vedant looked odd being scared. And for a considerably shorter man, Ishaan looked quite comfortable in the role of the dude with the upper hand.

"Whatever." Vedant muttered.

"Pardon?" Ishaan said like the idiot he was, Vedant rolled his eyes.

"So…Ishaan, are YOU seeing anyone?" Vedant asked smugly. Niharika grew a sudden interest, "Ariana does NOT count."

"Well, actually…there is this one girl. But I would never go out with her…"

"Why?" Vedant asked, all of a sudden becoming civil.

"She's one of Niharika's friends." He smirked. Niharika's jaw dropped.

"Who?!" She nearly shrieked. Ishaan's mouth opened and a name came out….

Chapter 24- Losing ( By My Love, Abhilasha! ❤️ I was having Writer's Block but she RockS!! 👏)

"Mahi, please. I need to talk to you." Shabd knocked at the door.

"I don't open the door for strangers." She said coldly, from behind the wall.

"Mahi. I know, I've been a complete idiot lately, but I was scared…" He said.

"And I wasn't?" She asked, opening the door.

"Of course, you were. I was being selfish." He hugged her. She tried to push him away, but he held fast to her.

"What were you thinking?" Mahi asked, crying.

"Obviously not much, if I said we should break up." He answered, feeling Mahi sob into his shirt.

"Shabd, did you seriously think I would go off to Angad if you broke up with me?" She asked looking up at him. He nodded and shrugged.

"Well, you know what? I don't need any of you. Not him, not you. I don't need anyone." Mahi said firmly, pulling away.

"Mahi, I love you." Shabd argued.

"That's so obvious from you leaving me when I needed you most." She said coldly. He looked at her wide-eyed.

"I'm sorry." Shabd said, turning to leave.

"See?" Mahi said, tearing up. "You won't even TRY to put sense into me." She whined.

Shabd turned to see her, she was in tears. Sitting on the bed, she instinctively clutched her stomach.

"What am I supposed to say? That Mahi, you're an idiot for saying you don't need me because you need me as much as I need you? Am I supposed to repeat I was such a moron for leaving you? I love you dammit, I'm not going to beg though." He said oddly confident.

"FINE! But no one's asking you to beg. Don't blame me if you refuse to put in any effort." She huffed, slamming the door.

"I'm guessing you want me to leave." He said, sarcastically rolling his eyes. Mahi opened the door, tears streaming down her face.

"No idiot! I don't." She sat on the couch, staring at her feet, sobbing.

"Mahi." He came to her side and pulled her into his embrace.

"Shabd, you don't even care about me anymore." She sobbed softly.

"Mahi, I care about you. I love you. I'm just…angry?"

"Angry? I'm angry. What are you angry about?" Mahi said, surprised and still crying.

"You were to marry Angad, and if your dad came to know about it…" he trailed off. " I know I was being an idiot, so just forget it." He said and rubbed her arm lightly consoling her. He shouldn't say anything right now he thought, she was already in the worst state possible. After a while Mahi pulled away, brushed her tears away and looked at him, frowning slightly.

"You know what? You can go to hell for all I care" she said and took a step back, "I don't need you!" she said remembering how he had just backed out from the responsibility.

"Mahi try to understand. I was….scared, confused, thrilled?" he said trying to get hold of her, but she shoved his hands away.

"You backed out when you THOUGHT I MIGHT have been pregnant… what if I WAS pregnant?" Mahi asked. When Shabd stayed quiet she threw her hands in the air, "See!?" she said, "You don't think about me, you don't care for me. And how the hell can you EVEN think I would marry that Angad just because my dad said?!" Mahi turned around and brushing off the last drop of tear off her eyes she faced him again "I am done fighting with you Shabd." she said, her tone softer than before. " and if you're done too, which I think you are, you can leave " she said crossing her hands over her chest stubbornly.

Shabd hung his head low and turned around to leave, as he got to the door he turned around said " I don't know what I want, what I thought, what the heck I was thinking but the thing I know for sure is that I LOVE YOU!" he said and left. There was no point in talking to her now, she wouldn't understand or even try to understand him.

As soon as she heard the door close she collapsed to her chair and broke down, she hadn't meant to cry, not now, but she just couldn't help it. She felt helpless. She had a mind to go after him, stop him and say 'I love you too Shabd, don't leave me' but she knew better. She grabbed the phone and dialed Vidya's number. She REALLY needed someone right now. But just as she was about to hit the talk button she heard a knock on the door. She brushed off her tears, composed herself, and in a firm tone said "Come In"

She watched Angad walk in with a stern face. He gave her a look and raised his eyebrow, "You okay?" when she nodded he smirked and shook his head.

"You really need to work on that no-problem-expression" he said he plopped on the small sofa in her room "Had a fight with lover boy huh?" he asked.

She gave him a why-do-you-care look. "Do you mind? I was gonna call my friend." She said curtly.

"Nope, I don't mind at all. Go ahead, call your friend. I'll just…. Hang around" he said and got up. He looked around.

Mahi got up furiously "Look Mr. Angad Khanna!" she said grabbing his attention. "You might be some big superstar, and might not know what privacy means, but I care a lot about my privacy. It would be safe for both you and me, if you just leave now, before I do something we both regret" she said sternly.

Angad raised an eyebrow in a perfect way. Damn this girl was something, he thought. But also he knew something was really wrong and it wouldn't really be good for him to be around her much, he knew she wanted to be left alone. He shrugged "I don't know what privacy is but I do know what heart break means, if you need someone, I am always there" he said and left.

Mahi stood there confused and surprised, did Angad Khanna just say to her he is there if she needs him. Till now all she has seen him do is think, speak, talk about himself, himself, and he, that same Angad Khanna was actually…concerned about her? She thought confused. Whatever, she thought. She dialed Vidya's number quickly and called her over.
